De aceea, iată, voi aduce răul asupra casei lui Ieroboam şi voi stârpi de la Ieroboam, pe cel care urinează la perete şi pe cel închis şi pe cel rămas în Israel, şi voi îndepărta rămăşiţa casei lui Ieroboam, precum omul îndepărtează balega, până când se duce toată.

Ridică-te de aceea, mergi acasă; şi când picioarele tale vor intra în cetate, copilul va muri.

Fiindcă DOMNUL va lovi pe Israel, precum o trestie este scuturată în apă şi va dezrădăcina pe Israel din această ţară bună, pe care a dat-o părinţilor lor şi îi va împrăştia dincolo de râu, deoarece şi-au făcut dumbrăvi, provocând pe DOMNUL la mânie.

Şi el va părăsi pe Israel din cauza păcatelor lui Ieroboam, care a păcătuit şi care a făcut pe Israel să păcătuiască.

Şi soţia lui Ieroboam s-a ridicat şi a plecat şi a venit la Tirţa; şi când a ajuns la pragul uşii, copilul a murit.

Şi zilele cât Ieroboam a domnit au fost douăzeci şi doi de ani; şi a adormit cu părinţii săi şi Nadab, fiul său, a domnit în locul său.

Şi Roboam, fiul lui Solomon, a domnit în Iuda. Roboam era în vârstă de patruzeci şi unu de ani când a început să domnească şi a domnit şaptesprezece ani în Ierusalim, cetatea pe care DOMNUL a ales-o dintre toate triburile lui Israel, ca să îşi pună numele său acolo. Şi numele mamei lui era Naama, o amonită.

Şi s-a întâmplat, în al cincilea an al împăratului Roboam, că Şişac, împăratul Egiptului, s-a urcat împotriva Ierusalimului;

Şi s-a întâmplat când împăratul intra în casa DOMNULUI, că garda le purta şi le aducea înapoi în camera gărzii.

Şi restul faptelor lui Roboam şi tot ce a făcut, nu sunt ele scrise în cartea cronicilor împăraţilor lui Iuda?
30 and battle to be between Rehoboam and between Jeroboam all [the] day: always
Şi a fost război între Roboam şi Ieroboam, în toate zilele lor.
31 and to lie down: be dead Rehoboam with father his and to bury with father his in/on/with city David and name mother his Naamah [the] Ammon and to reign Abijam son: child his underneath: instead him
Şi Roboam a adormit cu părinţii săi şi a fost îngropat cu părinţii săi în cetatea lui David. Şi numele mamei lui era Naama, o amonită. Şi Abiiam, fiul său, a domnit în locul său.
