1 Kings 12
1 and to go: went Rehoboam Shechem for Shechem to come (in): come all Israel to/for to reign [obj] him
Rô-bô-am đến Si-chem vì cả Y-sơ-ra-ên đã hiệp lại tại Si-chem đặng tôn người làm vua.
2 and to be like/as to hear: hear Jeroboam son: child Nebat and he/she/it still he in/on/with Egypt which to flee from face: because [the] king Solomon and to dwell Jeroboam in/on/with Egypt
Khi Giê-rô-bô-am, con trai của Nê-bát, hay điều đó, thì còn ở Ê-díp-tô, là nơi người trốn để thoát khỏi vua Sa-lô-môn.
3 and to send: depart and to call: call to to/for him (and to come (in): come *Q(K)*) Jeroboam and all assembly Israel and to speak: speak to(wards) Rehoboam to/for to say
Người ta sai tìm người tại đó. Giê-rô-bô-am cùng cả hội chúng Y-sơ-ra-ên đều đến tâu với Rô-bô-am rằng:
4 father your to harden [obj] yoke our and you(m. s.) now to lighten from service father your [the] severe and from yoke his [the] heavy which to give: put upon us and to serve you
Thân phụ vua đã làm cho ách chúng tôi nặng quá nhưng bây giờ vua hãy giảm nhẹ sự phục dịch khó nhọc và cái ách nặng mà thân phụ vua đã gán cho chúng tôi, thì chúng tôi sẽ phục dịch vua.
5 and to say to(wards) them to go: went still three day and to return: again to(wards) me and to go: went [the] people
Người đáp với chúng rằng: Hãy lui về, trong ba ngày sẽ trở lại cùng ta. Dân sự bèn lui về.
6 and to advise [the] king Rehoboam with [the] old which to be to stand: stand with face: before Solomon father his in/on/with to be he alive to/for to say how? you(m. p.) to advise to/for to return: reply [obj] [the] people [the] this word
Vua Rô-bô-am bàn với các trưởng lão đã hầu hạ Sa-lô-môn, cha mình, trong lúc người còn sống, mà rằng: Các ngươi bàn luận cho ta phải đáp với dân sự này làm sao?
7 (and to speak: speak *Q(K)*) to(wards) him to/for to say if [the] day to be servant/slave to/for people [the] this and to serve them and to answer them and to speak: speak to(wards) them word pleasant and to be to/for you servant/slave all [the] day: always
Chúng thưa lại rằng: Nếu ngày nay vua làm như người đầy tớ của dân sự này, phục sự họ, đáp lời, trò chuyện tử tế cùng họ, thì họ sẽ làm tôi tớ vua mãi mãi.
8 and to leave: forsake [obj] counsel [the] old which to advise him and to advise with [the] youth which to magnify with him which [the] to stand: stand to/for face: before his
Nhưng Rô-bô-am không theo mưu của các trưởng lão đã bàn cho mình; bàn nghị cùng các kẻ trai trẻ đồng lớn lên với mình, và hầu hạ mình,
9 and to say to(wards) them what? you(m. p.) to advise and to return: reply word [obj] [the] people [the] this which to speak: speak to(wards) me to/for to say to lighten from [the] yoke which to give: put father your upon us
mà rằng: Dân sự này đã tâu với ta rằng: Hãy giảm nhẹ cái ách mà thân phụ vua đã gán cho chúng tôi; vậy, các ngươi bàn luận cho ta phải đáp với chúng nó làm sao?
10 and to speak: speak to(wards) him [the] youth which to magnify with him to/for to say thus to say to/for people [the] this which to speak: speak to(wards) you to/for to say father your to honor: heavy [obj] yoke our and you(m. s.) to lighten from upon us thus to speak: speak to(wards) them little finger my to thicken from loin father my
Các gã trai trẻ đồng lớn lên với người đáp rằng: dân sự này đã tâu với vua rằng: Thân phụ vua khiến ách chúng tôi nặng vua hãy làm cho nó ra nhẹ; vua phải đáp lại cùng chúng như vầy: Ngón tay út ta còn lớn hơn lưng của cha ta.
11 and now father my to lift upon you yoke heavy and I to add upon yoke your father my to discipline [obj] you in/on/with whip and I to discipline [obj] you in/on/with scorpion
Vậy, cha ta đã gác một cái ách nặng cho các ngươi, ta sẽ làm cái ách các ngươi thêm nặng hơn nữa; cha ta sửa phạt các ngươi bằng roi da, ta sẽ sửa phạt các ngươi bằng roi bọ cạp.
12 (and to come (in): come *Q(k)*) Jeroboam and all [the] people to(wards) Rehoboam in/on/with day [the] third like/as as which to speak: speak [the] king to/for to say to return: again to(wards) me in/on/with day [the] third
Ngày thứ ba, Giê-rô-bô-am và cả dân sự đều đi đến Rô-bô-am, y như vua đã biểu rằng: Hãy trở lại cùng ta trong ba ngày.
13 and to answer [the] king [obj] [the] people severe and to leave: forsake [obj] counsel [the] old which to advise him
Vua đáp lời với dân sự cách xẳng xớm, không kể các lời bàn luận của các trưởng lão,
14 and to speak: speak to(wards) them like/as counsel [the] youth to/for to say father my to honor: heavy [obj] yoke your and I to add upon yoke your father my to discipline [obj] you in/on/with whip and I to discipline [obj] you in/on/with scorpion
và theo mưu các kẻ trai trẻ mà đáp lại cùng chúng rằng: Cha ta đã khiến cho ách các ngươi nặng nề; ta sẽ làm ách các ngươi càng nặng nề hơn nữa. Cha ta có sửa phạt các ngươi bằng roi da, ta sẽ sửa phạt các ngươi bằng roi bọ cạp.
15 and not to hear: hear [the] king to(wards) [the] people for to be turn from from with LORD because to arise: establish [obj] word his which to speak: speak LORD in/on/with hand: by Ahijah [the] Shilonite to(wards) Jeroboam son: child Nebat
Như vậy, vua không khứng nghe lời dân sự, vì điều đó bởi Đức Giê-hô-va dẫn đến, đặng làm cho ứng nghiệm lời Ngài cậy A-hi-gia ở Si-lô mà phán cho Giê-rô-bô-am, con trai của Nê-bát.

Khi cả Y-sơ-ra-ên thấy vua không khứng nghe lời họ, bèn đáp cùng người rằng: Chúng ta có phần gì cùng Đa-vít? Chúng ta chẳng có cơ nghiệp chi với con trai Y-sai. Hỡi Y-sơ-ra-ên! hãy trở về trại mình đi. ù Đa-vít! từ rày ngươi khá coi chừng nhà của ngươi. Như vậy Y-sơ-ra-ên đều rút về các trại của họ.
17 and son: descendant/people Israel [the] to dwell in/on/with city Judah and to reign upon them Rehoboam
Nhưng về dân Y-sơ-ra-ên ở tại các thành Giu-đa, thì Rô-bô-am cai trị họ.
18 and to send: depart [the] king Rehoboam [obj] Adoram which upon [the] taskworker and to stone all Israel in/on/with him stone and to die and [the] king Rehoboam to strengthen to/for to ascend: copulate in/on/with chariot to/for to flee Jerusalem
Bấy giờ, Rô-bô-am sai A-đô-ram là người coi sóc việc cống thuế đến cùng chúng; nhưng cả Y-sơ-ra-ên ném đá người chết. Vua Rô-bô-am lật đật lên xe, trốn về Giê-ru-sa-lem.
19 and to transgress Israel in/on/with house: household David till [the] day: today [the] this
Aáy vậy, Y-sơ-ra-ên phản nghịch nhà Đa-vít cho đến ngày nay.
20 and to be like/as to hear: hear all Israel for to return: return Jeroboam and to send: depart and to call: call to [obj] him to(wards) [the] congregation and to reign [obj] him upon all Israel not to be after house: household David exception tribe Judah to/for alone him
Khi dân Y-sơ-ra-ên hay rằng Giê-rô-bô-am đã trở về, bèn sai sứ mời người đến hội mình, và lập người làm vua trên cả Y-sơ-ra-ên. Chỉ có chi phái Giu-đa cứ theo nhà Đa-vít mà thôi.
21 (and to come (in): come *Q(K)*) Rehoboam Jerusalem and to gather [obj] all house: household Judah and [obj] tribe Benjamin hundred and eighty thousand to choose to make: [do] battle to/for to fight with house: household Israel to/for to return: rescue [obj] [the] kingship to/for Rehoboam son: child Solomon
Rô-bô-am đến Giê-ru-sa-lem nhóm hết thảy nhà Giu-đa và chi phái Bên-gia-minh, số là một trăm tám mươi ngàn người lính chiến kén chọn, toan tranh chiến cùng nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên đặng bắt nước phục lại Rô-bô-am, con trai Sa-lô-môn.
22 and to be word [the] God to(wards) Shemaiah man [the] God to/for to say
Nhưng Đức Chúa Trời phán cùng Sê-ma-gia, người của Đức Chúa Trời, rằng:
23 to say to(wards) Rehoboam son: child Solomon king Judah and to(wards) all house: household Judah and Benjamin and remainder [the] people to/for to say
Hãy nói cùng Rô-bô-am, con trai Sa-lô-môn, vua Giu-đa, cùng hết thảy nhà Giu-đa, Bên-gia-min, và phần dân sự còn lại, mà rằng:
24 thus to say LORD not to ascend: rise and not to fight [emph?] with brother: male-relative your son: descendant/people Israel to return: return man: anyone to/for house: home his for from with me to be [the] word: thing [the] this and to hear: hear [obj] word LORD and to return: again to/for to go: went like/as word LORD
Đức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Các ngươi chớ đi lên đánh anh em mình, là dân Y-sơ-ra-ên. Mỗi người hãy trở về nhà mình, vì sự này bởi ta mà xảy đến. Chúng vâng theo lời Đức Giê-hô-va mà trở về theo mạng lịnh của Ngài.
25 and to build Jeroboam [obj] Shechem in/on/with mountain: hill country Ephraim and to dwell in/on/with her and to come out: come from there and to build [obj] Peniel
Giê-rô-bô-am bèn xây cất Si-chem trên núi Eùp-ra-im, và ở tại đó. Đoạn từ đó người đi ra xây cất Phê-nu-ên.
26 and to say Jeroboam in/on/with heart his now to return: return [the] kingdom to/for house: household David
Bấy giờ, Giê-rô-bô-am nói thầm rằng: Hoặc nước sẽ trở về nhà Đa-vít chăng.
27 if to ascend: rise [the] people [the] this to/for to make: offer sacrifice in/on/with house: temple LORD in/on/with Jerusalem and to return: again heart [the] people [the] this to(wards) lord their to(wards) Rehoboam king Judah and to kill me and to return: return to(wards) Rehoboam king Judah
Nếu dân sự này đi lên Giê-ru-sa-lem đặng tế lễ tại trong đền của Đức giê-hô-va, thì lòng họ chắc sẽ trở về chúa của họ, là Rô-bô-am, vua Giu-đa; người ta sẽ giết ta đi và trở về với Rô-bô-am, vua Giu-đa.
28 and to advise [the] king and to make two calf gold and to say to(wards) them many to/for you from to ascend: rise Jerusalem behold God your Israel which to ascend: establish you from land: country/planet Egypt
Vậy, vua bàn định, rồi truyền làm hai con bò con bằng vàng, và nói với dân sự rằng: Các ngươi đi lên Giê-ru-sa-lem thật khó thay! Hỡi Y-sơ-ra-ên! nầy là các thần ngươi, đã đem ngươi ra khỏi xứ Ê-díp-tô.
29 and to set: make [obj] [the] one in/on/with Bethel Bethel and [obj] [the] one to give: put in/on/with Dan
Người đặt con này tại Bê-tên, và con kia tại Đan.
30 and to be [the] word: thing [the] this to/for sin and to go: went [the] people to/for face: before [the] one till Dan
Việc đó thành nên tội lỗi, vì dân chúng đi đến Đan đặng thờ lạy bò con ấy.
31 and to make [obj] house: home high place and to make: do priest from end [the] people which not to be from son: descendant/people Levi
Giê-rô-bô-am cũng cất chùa miễu trên các nơi cao, chọn lấy người trong vòng dân chúng lập làm thầy tế lễ, không thuộc về chi phái Lê-vi.
32 and to make Jeroboam feast in/on/with month [the] eighth in/on/with five ten day to/for month like/as feast which in/on/with Judah and to ascend: offer up upon [the] altar so to make: do in/on/with Bethel Bethel to/for to sacrifice to/for calf which to make and to stand: put in/on/with Bethel Bethel [obj] priest [the] high place which to make
Người lại định lập trong tuần tháng tám ngày rằm, một lễ giống như lễ người ta thường dự trong xứ Giu-đa, và người dâng các của lễ trên bàn thờ. Người cũng làm như vậy tại Bê-tên, tế lễ cho hai bò con mà người đã làm nên; lại để tại Bê-tên những thầy tế lễ của các nơi cao mà người đã cất.
33 and to ascend: rise upon [the] altar which to make in/on/with Bethel Bethel in/on/with five ten day in/on/with month [the] eighth in/on/with month which to devise (from heart his *Q(K)*) and to make: do feast to/for son: descendant/people Israel and to ascend: rise upon [the] altar to/for to offer: offer
Ngày rằm tháng tám, tức là tháng người tự chọn lấy, Giê-rô-bô-am đi lên bàn thờ mình đã cất tại Bê-tên. Người lập một lễ cho dân Y-sơ-ra-ên, rồi đi lên bàn thờ đặng xông hương.
