1 Corinthians 7

Men hvad det angår, hvorom I skreve til mig, da er det godt for en Mand ikke at røre en Kvinde;

men for Utugts Skyld have hver Mand sin egen Hustru, og hver Kvinde have sin egen Mand.

Manden yde Hustruen sin Skyldighed; ligeledes også Hustruen Manden.
4 the/this/who woman: wife the/this/who one's own/private body no to have authority but the/this/who man: husband similarly then and the/this/who man: husband the/this/who one's own/private body no to have authority but the/this/who woman: wife
Hustruen råder ikke over sit eget Legeme, men Manden; ligeså råder heller ikke Manden over sit eget Legeme, men Hustruen.
5 not to defraud one another if: not surely not if out from mutual consent to/with time/right time in order that/to (be devoted/empty *N(k)O*) (the/this/who fasting and *K*) the/this/who prayer and again upon/to/against the/this/who it/s/he (to be *N(k)O*) in order that/to not to test/tempt: tempt you the/this/who Satan through/because of the/this/who self-indulgence you
Unddrager eder ikke hinanden, uden måske med fælles Samtykke, til en Tid, for at I kunne have Ro til Bønnen, og for så atter at være sammen, for at Satan ikke skal friste eder, fordi I ikke formå at være afholdende.

Men dette siger jeg som en Indrømmelse, ikke som en Befaling.

Jeg ønsker dog, at alle Mennesker måtte være, som jeg selv er; men hver har sin egen Nådegave fra Gud, den ene så, den anden så.

Til de ugifte og til Enkerne siger jeg, at det er godt for dem, om de forblive som jeg.

Men kunne de ikke være afholdende, da lad dem gifte sig; thi det er bedre at gifte sig end at lide Brynde.

Men de gifte byder ikke jeg, men Herren, at en Hustru ikke skal skille sig fra sin Mand;
11 if then and to separate/leave to stay unmarried or the/this/who man: husband to reconcile and man: husband woman: wife not to release: leave
(men om hun virkeligt skiller sig fra ham, da forblive hun ugift eller forlige sig med Manden; ) og at en Mand ikke skal forlade sin Hustru.
12 the/this/who then remaining to say I/we no the/this/who lord: God if one brother woman: wife to have/be unbelieving and this/he/she/it to agree to to dwell with/after it/s/he not to release: leave it/s/he
Men til de andre siger jeg, ikke Herren: Dersom nogen Broder har en vantro Hustru, og denne samtykker i at bo hos ham, så forlade han hende ikke!
13 and woman (if *NO*) (one *N(k)O*) to have/be man: husband unbelieving and (this/he/she/it *N(k)O*) to agree to to dwell with/after it/s/he not to release: leave (the/this/who *no*) (man: husband *N(k)O*)
Og dersom en Hustru har en vantro Mand, og denne samtykker i at bo hos hende, så forlade hun ikke Manden!
14 to sanctify for the/this/who man: husband the/this/who unbelieving in/on/among the/this/who woman: wife and to sanctify the/this/who woman: wife the/this/who unbelieving in/on/among the/this/who (brother *N(k)O*) since therefore the/this/who child you unclean to be now then holy to be
Thi den vantro Mand er helliget ved Hustruen, og den vantro Hustru er helliget ved Manden; ellers vare jo eders Børn urene, men nu ere de hellige.
15 if then the/this/who unbelieving to separate/leave to separate/leave no to enslave the/this/who brother or the/this/who sister in/on/among the/this/who such as this in/on/among then peace to call: call (you *N(K)O*) the/this/who God
Men skiller den vantro sig, så lad ham skille sig; ingen Broder eller Søster er trælbunden i sådanne Tilfælde; men Gud har kaldet os til Fred.

Thi hvad ved du, Hustru! om du kan frelse din Mand? eller hvad ved du, Mand! om du kan frelse din Hustru?

Kun vandre enhver således, som Herren har tildelt ham, som Gud har kaldet ham; og således forordner jeg i alle Menighederne.

Blev nogen kaldet som omskåren, han lade ikke Forhud drage over; er nogen kaldet som uomskåren, han lade sig ikke omskære!
19 the/this/who circumcision none to be and the/this/who uncircumcision none to be but jail/keeping commandment God
Omskærelse har intet at sige, og Forhud har intet at sige, men det at holde Guds Bud.
20 each in/on/among the/this/who calling which to call: call in/on/among this/he/she/it to stay
Hver blive i den Stand, hvori han blev kaldet!
21 slave to call: call not you to concern but if: even though and be able free/freedom to be more: rather to use
Blev du kaldet som Træl, da lad det ikke bekymre dig, men om du også kan blive fri, da gør hellere Brug deraf!
22 the/this/who for in/on/among lord: God to call: call slave freed lord: God to be similarly (and *k*) the/this/who free/freedom to call: call slave to be Christ
Thi den, der er kaldet i Herren som Træl, er Herrens frigivne; ligeså er den, der er kaldet som fri, Kristi Træl.
23 honor to buy not to be slave a human
Dyrt bleve I købte, vorde ikke Menneskers Trælle!
24 each in/on/among which to call: call brother in/on/among this/he/she/it to stay from/with/beside (the/this/who *k*) God
I den Stand, hvori enhver blev kaldet, Brødre, deri blive han for Gud!

Men om Jomfruerne har jeg ikke nogen Befaling fra Herren, men giver min Mening til Hende som den, hvem Herren barmhjertigt har forundt at være troværdig.

Jeg mener altså dette, at det på Grund af den forhåndenværende Nød er godt for et Menneske at være således, som han er.

Er du bunden til en Kvinde, da søg ikke at blive løst; er du ikke bunden, da søg ikke en Hustru!

Men om du også gifter dig, synder du ikke; og om en Jomfru gifter sig, synder hun ikke; dog ville sådanne få Trængsel i Kødet. Men jeg skåner eder.
29 this/he/she/it then to assert brother the/this/who time/right time to wrap up (to be *no*) the/this/who henceforth (to be *k*) in order that/to and the/this/who to have/be woman: wife as/when not to have/be to be
Men dette siger jeg eder, Brødre! at Tiden er kort, for at herefter både de, der have Hustruer, skulle være, som om de ingen have,
30 and the/this/who to weep as/when not to weep and the/this/who to rejoice as/when not to rejoice and the/this/who to buy as/when not to hold back/fast
og de, der græde, som om de ikke græde, og de, der glæde sig, som om de ikke glæde sig, og de, der købe, som om de ikke besidde,
31 and the/this/who to use (the/this/who world *N(k)O*) (this/he/she/it *K*) as/when not to use up to pass for the/this/who form the/this/who world this/he/she/it
og de, der bruge denne Verden, som om de ikke gøre Brug af den; thi denne Verdens Skikkelse forgår.

Men jeg ønsker, at I må være uden Bekymring. Den ugifte er bekymret for de Ting, som høre Herren til, hvorledes han kan behage Herren;
33 the/this/who then to marry to worry the/this/who the/this/who world how! (to please *N(k)O*) the/this/who woman: wife
men den gifte er bekymret for de Ting, som høre Verden til, hvorledes han kan behage Hustruen.
34 (and *no*) to divide and the/this/who woman the/this/who unmarried and the/this/who virgin to worry the/this/who the/this/who lord: God in order that/to to be holy and (the/this/who *no*) body and (the/this/who *no*) spirit/breath: spirit the/this/who then to marry to worry the/this/who the/this/who world how! (to please *N(k)O*) the/this/who man: husband
Og der er også Forskel imellem Hustruen og Jomfruen. Den ugifte er bekymret for de Ting, som høre Herren til, for at hun kan være hellig både på Legeme og Ånd; men den gifte er bekymret for det, som hører Verden til, hvor ledes hun kan behage Manden.
35 this/he/she/it then to/with the/this/who you it/s/he (be profitable *N(k)O*) to say no in order that/to restraint you to put on/seize but to/with the/this/who proper and devoted the/this/who lord: God undistracted
Men dette siger jeg til eders eget Gavn, ikke for at kaste en Snare om eder, men for at bevare Sømmelighed og en urokkelig Vedhængen ved Herren.
36 if then one to act improperly upon/to/against the/this/who virgin it/s/he to think if to be past one’s prime and thus(-ly) to owe to be which to will/desire to do/make: do no to sin to marry
Men dersom nogen mener at volde sin ugifte Datter Skam, om hun sidder over Tiden, og det må så være, han gøre, hvad han vil, han synder ikke; lad dem gifte sig!
37 which then to stand in/on/among the/this/who heart (it/s/he *no*) steadfast not to have/be necessity authority then to have/be about the/this/who one's own/private will/desire and this/he/she/it to judge in/on/among the/this/who (one's own/private *N(k)O*) heart (the/this/who *k*) to keep: protect the/this/who themself virgin well (to do/make: do *N(k)O*)
Men den, som står fast i sit Hjerte og ikke er tvungen, men har Rådighed over sin Villie og har besluttet dette i sit Hjerte at holde sin Datter ugift, han gør vel.
38 so and the/this/who (then *o*) (to give in marriage *N(k)O*) (the/this/who themself virgin *NO*) well to do/make: do (and *N(k)O*) the/this/who not (to give in marriage *N(k)O*) greater (to do/make: do *N(k)O*)
Altså, både den, som bortgifter sin Datter, gør vel, og den, som ikke bortgifter hende, gør bedre.
39 woman: wife to bind (law *K*) upon/to/against just as/how much time to live the/this/who man: husband it/s/he if then (and *o*) to sleep the/this/who man: husband (it/s/he *k*) free/freedom to be which to will/desire to marry alone in/on/among lord: God
En Hustru er bunden, så længe hendes Mand lever; men dersom Manden sover hen, er hun fri til at gifte sig med hvem hun vil, kun at det sker i Herren.
40 blessed then to be if thus(-ly) to stay according to the/this/who I/we resolution to think (then *NK(o)*) I/we and spirit/breath: spirit God to have/be
Men lykkeligere er hun, om hun forbliver således, som hun er, efter min Mening; men også jeg mener at have Guds Ånd.
