[The first person God created was Adam]. Adam’s [son was] Seth. [Seth’s son was] Enosh. [Enosh’s son was] Kenan.
2 Kenan Mahalalel Jared
[Kenan’s son was] Mahalalel. [Mahalalel’s son was] Jared. [Jared’s son was] Enoch.
3 Enoch Methuselah Lamech
[Enoch’s son was] Methuselah. [Methusalah’s son was] Lamech. [Lamech’s son was] Noah.
4 Noah Shem Ham and Japheth
[Noah’s sons were] Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
5 son: child Japheth Gomer and Magog and Madai and Javan and Tubal and Meshech and Tiras
The sons (OR, descendants) of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.
6 and son: child Gomer Ashkenaz and Riphath and Togarmah
The sons (OR, descendants) of Gomer were Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.
7 and son: child Javan Elishah and Tarshish [to] Kittim and Dodanim
The descendants of Javan were Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim.
8 son: child Ham Cush and Egypt Put and Canaan
The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim (OR, Egypt), Put, and Canaan.
9 and son: child Cush Seba and Havilah and Sabtah and Raamah and Sabteca and son: child Raamah Sheba and Dedan
The descendants of Cush were Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. The sons (OR, descendants) of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
10 and Cush to beget [obj] Nimrod he/she/it to profane/begin: begin to/for to be mighty man in/on/with land: country/planet
Another descendant of Cush was Nimrod. When he grew up, he became a mighty warrior on the earth.
11 and Egypt to beget [obj] (Ludite *Q(K)*) and [obj] Anamim and [obj] Lehabim and [obj] Naphtuhim
Mizraim (OR, Egypt) was the ancestor of the Lud people-group, the Anam people-group, the Lehab people-group, the Naphtuh people-group,

Canaan’s first son was Sidon. He was also the ancestor of the Heth people-group,

Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, who was the father of Eber.
19 and to/for Eber to beget two son: child name [the] one Peleg for in/on/with day his to divide [the] land: country/planet and name brother: male-sibling his Joktan
Eber had two sons. One was named Peleg [which sounds like the word that means ‘divided’] because during the time that he lived, [the people on] the earth were divided [into various language groups]. Peleg’s [younger] brother was Joktan.

Joktan was the ancestor of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

The descendants of Shem, [in order from him to Abraham], were Arphaxad, Shelah,

27 Abram he/she/it Abraham
and Abram, whose [name was later changed to] Abraham.
28 son: child Abraham Isaac and Ishmael
Abraham’s sons were Isaac and Ishmael.

[After]’s [wife Sarah died, he took another wife named] Keturah. The sons of Abraham and Keturah were Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. Jokshan’s sons were Sheba and Dedan.
33 and son: child Midian Ephah and Epher and Hanoch and Abida and Eldaah all these son: descendant/people Keturah
Midian’s sons were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah.
34 and to beget Abraham [obj] Isaac son: child Isaac Esau and Israel
The son of Abraham [and his wife Sarah] was Isaac, and Isaac’s sons were Esau and [Jacob, whose name was later changed to] Israel.
35 son: child Esau Eliphaz Reuel and Jeush and Jalam and Korah
The sons of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.
36 son: child Eliphaz Teman and Omar Zepho and Gatam Kenaz and Timna and Amalek
The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho (OR, Zephi), Gatam, Kenaz, Timna, and Amalek.
37 son: child Reuel Nahath Zerah Shammah and Mizzah
Reuel’s sons were Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

Lotan’s sons were Hori and Homam, and Lotan’s sister was Timna.
40 son: child Shobal Alvan and Manahath and Ebal Shepho and Onam and son: child Zibeon Aiah and Anah
Shobal’s sons were Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam. Zibeon’s sons were Aiah and Anah.
41 son: child Anah Dishon and son: child Dishon Hemdan and Eshban and Ithran and Cheran
Anah’s son was Dishon. 1 Dishon’s sons were Hemdan (OR, Hamran), Eshban, Ithran, and Keran.
42 son: child Ezer Bilhan and Zaavan Akan son: child Dishan Uz and Aran
Ezer’s sons were Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan (OR, Jaakan). Dishan’s sons were Uz and Aran.
43 and these [the] king which to reign in/on/with land: country/planet Edom to/for face: before to reign king to/for son: descendant/people Israel Bela son: child Beor and name city his Dinhabah
[These are the names of] the kings that ruled [the] Edom [region] before any kings ruled over Israel: Bela, the son of Beor, was king in Edom, and the name of the city [in which he lived] was Dinhabah.
44 and to die Bela and to reign underneath: instead him Jobab son: child Zerah from Bozrah
When Bela died, Jobab, the son of Zerah from Bozrah [city], became the king.
45 and to die Jobab and to reign underneath: instead him Husham from land: country/planet [the] Temanite
When Jobab died, Husham became the king. He was from the region where the Teman people-group lived.
46 and to die Husham and to reign underneath: instead him Hadad son: child Bedad [the] to smite [obj] Midian in/on/with land: country Moab and name city his (Avith *Q(K)*)
When Husham died, Hadad, the son of Bedad, became the king. He [ruled in] Avith city. Hadad’s [army] defeated [the army of the] Midian [people-group] in [the] Moab [region].
47 and to die Hadad and to reign underneath: instead him Samlah from Masrekah
When Hadad died, Samlah became the king. He was from Masrekah [town].
48 and to die Samlah and to reign underneath: instead him Shaul from Rehoboth [the] River
When Samlah died, Shaul became the king. He was from Rehoboth [city] along the [Euphrates] river.
49 and to die Shaul and to reign underneath: instead him Baal-hanan Baal-hanan son: child Achbor
When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan, the son of Achbor, became the king.
50 and to die Baal-hanan Baal-hanan and to reign underneath: instead him Hadad and name city his Pau and name woman: wife his Mehetabel daughter Matred daughter Mezahab Mezahab
When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad became the king. He was from Pau city. His wife’s name was Mehetabel; she was the daughter of Matred and the granddaughter of Me-Zahab.
51 and to die Hadad and to be chief Edom chief Timna chief (Alvah *Q(K)*) chief Jetheth
Then Hadad died. The leaders of the clans of the Edom people-group were Timna, Alvah, Jetheth,
52 chief Oholibamah chief Elah chief Pinon
Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon,
53 chief Kenaz chief Teman chief Mibzar
Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar,
54 chief Magdiel chief Iram these chief Edom
