< Romans 11 >
1 I ask then; not did reject God the people of Him? Never would it be! Also for I myself an Israelite am, of [the] seed of Abraham, of [the] tribe of Benjamin.
Afei mibisa se, Onyankopɔn atow ne man akyene ana? Dabi da. Mʼankasa meyɛ Israelni na meyɛ Abraham aseni a mifi Benyamin abusua mu.
2 Not did reject God the people of Him whom He foreknew. Or not know you in Elijah what says the Scripture, how he pleads with God against Israel (saying *k*)
Onyankopɔn ampo ne nkurɔfo a oyii wɔn mfiase no. Munim nea Kyerɛwsɛm no ka fa Elia ho sɛnea ɔkasa tiaa Israelfo wɔ Onyankopɔn anim se,
3 Lord, the prophets of You they have killed, (and *k*) the altars of You they have torn down, and I myself and I myself were left alone, and they are seeking the life of me.
“Awurade, wɔakum wʼadiyifo na wɔadwiriw wʼafɔremuka, na me nko na maka a wɔpɛ sɛ wokum me.”
4 But what [was] spoken to him the divine answer? I have left to Myself seven thousand men who not bowed [the] knee to Baal.
Mmuae bɛn na Onyankopɔn de maa no? Onyankopɔn kae se, “Mewɔ nnipa mpem ason a wɔnsom ɔbosom Baal.”
5 Thus then also in the present time a remnant according to [the] election of grace there has been.
Saa ara nso na ɛte nnɛ. Nnipa kakraa bi wɔ hɔ a Onyankopɔn nam ne dom so ayi wɔn.
6 If now by grace no longer no longer from works, otherwise grace no longer no longer would be grace (if *KO*) (now from works no longer no longer is grace since the work no longer no longer is work. *K*)
Yi a wayi wɔn no gyina nʼadom so na ɛnyɛ wɔn nnwuma so. Na sɛ Onyankopɔn yi a oyi nnipa no gyina wɔn nnwuma so a, ɛno de na adom no nyɛ adom turodoo.
7 What then? What is seeking Israel, (this *N(k)O*) not it has obtained, but the elect obtained [it]; The now rest were hardened
Ɛno de na ɛne dɛn? Nea Israelfo tiw akyi hwehwɛe no, wɔn nsa anka, na mmom kakraa a Onyankopɔn ayi wɔn no de, wɔn nsa kae. Wɔn a wɔaka no pirim wɔn koma
8 (even as *NK(o)*) it has been written: Gave to them God a spirit of stupor, eyes not to see and ears not to hear unto the today day.
sɛnea Kyerɛwsɛm no ka se, “Onyankopɔn maa wɔn honhom a ɛyɛ bɔtee, ani a ɛmma wonhu ade aso a ɛmma wɔnte asɛm, de besi nnɛ.”
9 And David says: should be the table of them for a snare and for a trap and for a stumbling block and for a retribution to them;
Na Dawid ka se, “Ma wɔn didipon a esi wɔn anim nyi wɔn sɛ afiri na wɔnhwehwe ase na wɔntwe wɔn aso!
10 should be darkened the eyes of them not to see, and the backs of them (for *N(K)O*) (all [times] *N(k)O*) do bend over.
Ma wɔn ani so nyɛ wɔn kusuu na wɔanhu ade; na wɔn akyi nkuntun afebɔɔ.”
11 I say then, surely not they did stumble so that they may fall? Never would it be! But in the of them trespass [is] salvation to the Gentiles so as to provoke to jealousy them.
Afei mibisa se, bere a Yudafo yɛɛ bɔne no, ɛde wɔn kɔɔ ɔsɛe mu ana? Dabi! Amanamanmufo nam Yudafo no bɔne a wɔyɛɛ no so nyaa nkwagye. Eyi maa Yudafo no twee wɔn ho ninkunu.
12 If however the trespass of them [is] riches of [the] world and the failure of them [is the] riches of [the] Gentiles, how much more the fullness of them?
Yudafo no bɔne a wɔyɛɛ no de nnepa brɛɛ wiase na wɔn honhom mu hia a wodii no nso de ahonya brɛɛ amanamanmufo. Na ɛba sɛ Yudafo no mu bebree bɛka wɔn ho a nhyira mmoroso bɛn na ɛremma?
13 To you (now *N(k)O*) I am speaking Gentiles; Upon as much as indeed (therefore *NO*) am I myself of [the] Gentiles apostle, the ministry of mine I magnify,
Afei merekasa akyerɛ mo amanamanmufo: Esiane sɛ meyɛ amanamanmufo ɔsomafo nti, mehoahoa me ho wɔ adwuma a wɔde ahyɛ me nsa no ho.
14 if at all I will provoke to jealousy of me the flesh and will save some of them.
Sɛ ebetumi a, mɛma wɔn a wɔyɛ me nuanom Yudafo no kɔn adɔ nea mo amanamanmufo nsa aka yi bi, na wɔnam so agye wɔn mu bi nkwa.
15 If for the rejection of them [is the] reconciliation of [the] world, what [will be] the acceptance only except life out from [the] dead?
Na sɛ wɔn po a wɔpoo wɔn no ama Onyankopɔn ne wiasefo aka abɔ mu a, ɛno de sɛ Onyankopɔn twe wɔn bata ne ho a ɛbɛyɛ dɛn? Ɛbɛyɛ nkwa ama awufo.
16 If now the firstfruit [is] holy, also the lump; and if the root [is] holy, also the branches.
Sɛ wɔde brodo sin ma Onyankopɔn a, ɛno de, na ne mu nyinaa yɛ ne dea. Saa ara nso na sɛ dua no ntin yɛ kronkron a, ne mman no nyinaa nso yɛ kronkron.
17 If however some of the branches were broken off, you yourself now a wild olive tree being you were grafted in among them and a fellow-partaker of the root (and *ko*) of the fatness of the olive tree you have become,
Wɔapenpan ngodua a wɔahyɛ da adua no mman no bi agu, na wɔde ngodua a wɔanhyɛ da annua no mman abɛhyɛ nʼanan mu. Mo amanamanmufo no te sɛ ngodua a wɔanhyɛ da annua, nanso afei de, mo ne Yudafo no nyinaa nya Onyankopɔn dom a wɔde adom wɔn no pɛ.
18 not do boast over the branches; If now you boast against [them], not you yourself the root support but the root you.
Nanso monhwɛ yiye na moanhoahoa mo ho sɛ wɔde mo asi mman a wɔapenpan no anan mu. Monkae sɛ moyɛ mman kɛkɛ, na monyɛ ntin.
19 You will say then; Were broken off (*k*) branches that I myself may be grafted in.
Na mobɛka se, “Eye, wobubuu mman no sɛ wɔmfa me nsi wɔn anan mu.”
20 Rightly so; by the unbelief they were broken off, you yourself however by faith have stood. Not high do be minded but do be afraid;
Yiw, nanso monkae sɛ wɔpenpan saa mman a ɛyɛ Yudafo no, efisɛ wɔannye Onyankopɔn anni, na mugye di nti na mowɔ hɔ. Mommma mo ho so, na mmom munsuro nea ebetumi asi.
21 If for God the according to nature branches not spared, surely (perhaps *NK*) neither you (will He spare. *N(k)O*)
Na sɛ Onyankopɔn amfa Yudafo a wɔte sɛ ngodua pa mman no bɔne ankyɛ wɔn a, mususuw sɛ ɔde mo bɔne bɛkyɛ mo ana?
22 Behold therefore [the] kindness and severity of God; upon indeed those having fallen (severity, *N(k)O*) toward however you (kindness *N(k)O*) (of God, *NO*) if (you shall continue in *NK(O)*) the kindness; otherwise also you yourself will be cut off.
Enti monhwɛ Onyankopɔn ayamye ne ne denyɛ. Ɔyɛ den wɔ wɔn a wɔyɛɛ asoɔden no so, nanso ne yam ye ma mo wɔ bere a mode mo ho ato nʼayamye so. Na sɛ moamfa mo ho anto no so a, saa ara na wɔbɛpenpan mo.
23 And they And they now only unless (they shall continue *N(k)O*) in unbelief, [then] they will be grafted in; able for is God again to graft in them;
Na sɛ Yudafo no gye di bio a, Onyankopɔn bɛsan de wɔn ayɛ dua no mman bio. Obetumi ayɛ saa.
24 If for you yourself out of the according to nature were cut off a wild olive tree and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more these who according to nature [are] will be grafted into their own olive tree?
Na sɛ Onyankopɔn pɛɛ sɛ ɔde mo a moyɛ wuram ngodua mman bɛfam dua papa a ɔno ankasa adua ho de, anka ɛmfa ɔkwan mu a, ɛno de, ɔbɛpɛ no mmoroso sɛ ɔde Yudafo no bɛfam dua a ɛyɛ wɔn ankasa de no ho.
25 Not for I want you to be ignorant, brothers, of the mystery this, that not you may be (beside *NK(o)*) yourselves wise, that a hardening in part to Israel has happened until that the fullness of the Gentiles may come in,
Me nuanom, ahintasɛm bi wɔ hɔ a mepɛ sɛ mote ase, sɛnea monnyɛ ahantan na monhoahoa mo ho. Yudafo no mu bi apirim wɔn koma, nanso sɛ amanamanmufo no nyinaa dan ba Kristo nkyɛn a ɛto betwa.
26 and so all Israel will be saved even as it has been written: Will come out of Zion the [One] Delivering, (and *k*) He will remove ungodliness from Jacob;
Enti Israelfo nyinaa benya nkwagye. Mokae nea adiyifo no kaa wɔ eyi ho? “Agyenkwa no befi Sion aba, na obeyi amumɔyɛsɛm nyinaa afi Yakob asefo mu.
27 And this [is] to them the from Me covenant, when I may take away the sins of them.
Na medi apam a mene wɔn ayɛ no so na mapepa wɔn bɔne.”
28 As regards indeed the gospel [they are] enemies on account of you As regards however the election beloved on account of the patriarchs;
Yudafo no bebree ayɛ Asɛmpa no atamfo. Na mo, amanamanmufo anya so mfaso, efisɛ Onyankopɔn de nʼakyɛde no ama mo. Nanso Yudafo yɛ ne man a wapaw wɔn ara, esiane bɔ a wahyɛ wɔn nenanom nti,
29 Irrevocable for [are] the gifts and the calling of God.
efisɛ wɔrennan Onyankopɔn akyɛde ne ne frɛ no ani.
30 Just as for (and *k*) you yourselves once were disobedient to God now however were shown mercy to them through their disobedience,
Na mo amanamanmufo de, bere a atwam no mu, moyɛɛ asoɔden tiaa Onyankopɔn, nanso Yudafo no poo nʼahummɔbɔ no nti Onyankopɔn huu mo mmɔbɔ mmom.
31 so also these now were disobedient to your mercy so that also they themselves (now *NO*) may have mercy shown [them].
Saa ara nso na esiane adom a moanya no nti, mprempren, Yudafo no nso ayɛ asoɔden atia Onyankopɔn. Nanso nna bi akyi no wɔn nso benya Onyankopɔn adom no.
32 Has bound up for God all in disobedience that all He may show mercy to. (eleēsē )
Onyankopɔn aka nnipa nyinaa ahyɛ wɔn asoɔden ase sɛnea ɔbɛyɛ adom ama obiara. (eleēsē )
33 O [the] depth of riches both of wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable the judgments of Him and untraceable the ways of Him!
Ao Onyankopɔn ahonya ne nyansa ne nimdeɛ bun a mu dɔ! Hena na obetumi ahu nʼatemmu mu pɛɛpɛe, na wahu nea nʼakwan nenam.
34 Who for has known [the] mind of [the] Lord? or who counselor of Him has been?
“Hena na onim Awurade adwene anaasɛ hena na ɔyɛ ne fotufo?”
35 Or who has first given to Him, and it will be recompensed to him?
“Hena na wama Onyankopɔn biribi kan a ɛsɛ sɛ Onyankopɔn tua no so ka?”
36 For from Him and through Him and unto Him [are] all things; To Him [be] the glory to the ages! Amen. (aiōn )
Efisɛ ade nyinaa fi ne mu na ɛba, na ɛnam ne so na ɛba, na ɛbɛsan akɔ ne nkyɛn bio. Ɔno na anuonyam wɔ no daa daa. Amen. (aiōn )
