Zechariah 8
1 And it came [the] word of Yahweh of hosts saying.
Et la parole de l’Éternel des armées vint [à moi], disant:
2 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts I am jealous for Zion jealousy great and rage great I am jealous for it.
Ainsi dit l’Éternel des armées: Je suis jaloux pour Sion d’une grande jalousie, et je suis jaloux pour elle d’une grande fureur.
3 Thus he says Yahweh I have returned to Zion and I will dwell in [the] midst of Jerusalem and it will be called Jerusalem [the] city of faithfulness and [the] mountain of Yahweh of hosts [the] mountain of holiness.
Ainsi dit l’Éternel: Je suis revenu à Sion, et j’habiterai au milieu de Jérusalem; et Jérusalem sera appelée la ville de vérité, et la montagne de l’Éternel des armées, la montagne sainte.
4 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts again they will sit old [men] and old [women] in [the] open places of Jerusalem and each staff his [will be] in hand his from abundance of days.
Ainsi dit l’Éternel des armées: Il y aura encore des vieillards et des femmes âgées, assis dans les rues de Jérusalem, chacun son bâton à sa main, à cause du nombre de [leurs] jours.
5 And [the] open places of the city they will be filled boys and girls playing in open places its.
Et les places de la ville seront pleines de jeunes garçons et de jeunes filles, jouant dans ses places.
6 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts if it will be difficult in [the] eyes of [the] remnant of the people this in the days those also in view my will it be difficult? [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.
Ainsi dit l’Éternel des armées: Si c’est une chose difficile aux yeux du reste de ce peuple, en ces jours-là, serait-ce difficile aussi à mes yeux? dit l’Éternel des armées.
7 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts here I [am] about to save people my from [the] land of [the] east and from [the] land of [the] setting of the sun.
Ainsi dit l’Éternel des armées: Voici, je sauve mon peuple du pays du levant, et du pays du coucher du soleil,
8 And I will bring them and they will dwell in [the] midst of Jerusalem and they will become for me a people and I I will become for them God in faithfulness and in righteousness.
et je les amènerai, et ils demeureront au milieu de Jérusalem, et ils seront mon peuple, et moi je serai leur Dieu, en vérité et en justice.
9 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts let them be strong hands your O those [who] hear in the days these the words these from [the] mouth of the prophets who on [the] day [when] it was founded [the] house of Yahweh of hosts the temple to be rebuilt.
Ainsi dit l’Éternel des armées: Que vos mains soient fortes, ô vous qui entendez en ces jours-ci ces paroles de la bouche des prophètes, au jour où le fondement de la maison de l’Éternel des armées a été posé pour bâtir le temple.
10 For before the days those [the] wage[s] of person not it happened and [the] wage[s] of the animal[s] [was] not it and [belonged] to the [one who] went out and to the [one who] came not peace from the opponent so I may send every person each on neighbor his.
Car avant ces jours-là, il n’y avait point de salaire pour les hommes, et il n’y avait point de salaire pour les bêtes, et il n’y avait point de paix pour celui qui sortait, ni pour celui qui entrait, à cause de la détresse; et je lâchais tout homme, chacun contre son prochain.
11 And now not like the days former I [will be] to [the] remnant of the people this [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.
Mais maintenant, je ne serai pas pour le reste de ce peuple comme dans les premiers jours, dit l’Éternel des armées;
12 That [the] seed of peace the vine it will give fruit its and the land it will give produce its and the heavens they will give dew their and I will give as an inheritance [the] remnant of the people this all these [things].
car la semence prospérera, la vigne donnera son fruit, et la terre donnera ses produits, et les cieux donneront leur rosée, et je ferai hériter au reste de ce peuple toutes ces choses.
13 And it will be just as you were a curse among the nations O house of Judah and [the] house of Israel so I will save you and you will be a blessing may not you be afraid let them be strong hands your.
Et il arrivera que, comme vous étiez une malédiction parmi les nations, maison de Juda, et maison d’Israël, ainsi je vous sauverai, et vous serez une bénédiction. Ne craignez point: que vos mains soient fortes!
14 For thus he says Yahweh of hosts just as I planned to do harm to you when provoked to anger ancestors your me he says Yahweh of hosts and not I relented.
Car ainsi dit l’Éternel des armées: Comme j’ai pensé à vous faire du mal, quand vos pères m’ont provoqué à la colère, dit l’Éternel des armées (et je ne m’en suis pas repenti),
15 So I have returned I have planned in the days these to do good to Jerusalem and [the] house of Judah may not you be afraid.
ainsi j’ai pensé de nouveau, en ces jours-ci, à faire du bien à Jérusalem et à la maison de Juda. Ne craignez point!
16 These [are] the things which you will do speak truth each with neighbor his faithfulness and justice of peace judge in gates your.
Ce sont ici les choses que vous ferez: Parlez la vérité chacun à son prochain, jugez [selon] la vérité, et [prononcez] un jugement de paix, dans vos portes,
17 And each - [the] harm of neighbor his may not you plan in heart your and an oath of falsehood may not you love for all these [are things] which I hate [the] utterance of Yahweh.
et ne méditez pas le mal dans vos cœurs chacun contre son prochain, et n’aimez pas le faux serment; car toutes ces choses-là, je les hais, dit l’Éternel.
18 And it came [the] word of Yahweh of hosts to me saying.
Et la parole de l’Éternel des armées vint à moi, disant:
19 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] fast of the fourth [month] and [the] fast of the fifth [month] and [the] fast of the seventh [month] and [the] fast of the tenth [month] it will become for [the] house of Judah joy and gladness and appointed feasts good and truth and peace love.
Ainsi dit l’Éternel des armées: Le jeûne du quatrième [mois], et le jeûne du cinquième, et le jeûne du septième, et le jeûne du dixième [mois] seront pour la maison de Juda allégresse et joie, et d’heureuses assemblées. Aimez donc la vérité et la paix.
20 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts yet this: they will come peoples and [the] inhabitants of cities many.
Ainsi dit l’Éternel des armées: Encore une fois il viendra des peuples et des habitants de beaucoup de villes;
21 And they will go [the] inhabitants of one [city] to one [city] saying let us go steadfastly to entreat [the] face of Yahweh and to seek Yahweh of hosts I will go also I.
et les habitants de l’une iront à l’autre, disant: Allons, allons implorer l’Éternel, et rechercher l’Éternel des armées! Moi aussi, j’irai.
22 And they will come peoples many and nations mighty to seek Yahweh of hosts in Jerusalem and to entreat [the] face of Yahweh.
Et beaucoup de peuples, et des nations puissantes, iront pour rechercher l’Éternel des armées à Jérusalem, et pour implorer l’Éternel.
23 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts in the days those that they will take hold ten people from all [the] tongues of the nations and they will take hold on [the] skirt of a person Jewish saying we want to go with you for we have heard God [is] with you.
Ainsi dit l’Éternel des armées: En ces jours-là, dix hommes de toutes les langues des nations saisiront, oui, saisiront le pan de la robe d’un homme juif, disant: Nous irons avec vous, car nous avons entendu dire que Dieu est avec vous.
