Zechariah 5
1 And I returned and I lifted up eyes my and I saw and there! a scroll flying.
Poi alzai gli occhi e vidi un rotolo che volava.
2 And he said to me what? [are] you seeing and I said I [am] seeing a scroll flying length its [is] twenty by the cubit and breadth its [is] ten by the cubit.
L'angelo mi domandò: «Che cosa vedi?». E io: «Vedo un rotolo che vola: è lungo venti cubiti e largo dieci».
3 And he said to me this [is] the curse which is about to go forth over [the] surface of all the land for every [one who] steals from this according to it he will be purged and every [one who] swears an oath from this according to it he will be purged.
Egli soggiunse: «Questa è la maledizione che si diffonde su tutta la terra: ogni ladro sarà scacciato via di qui come quel rotolo; ogni spergiuro sarà scacciato via di qui come quel rotolo.
4 I will send forth it [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts and it will go into [the] house of the thief and into [the] house of the [one who] swears an oath by name my to falsehood and it will lodge in [the] midst of house his and it will destroy it and wood its and stone its.
Io scatenerò la maledizione, dice il Signore degli eserciti, in modo che essa penetri nella casa del ladro e nella casa dello spergiuro riguardo al mio nome; rimarrà in quella casa e la consumerà insieme con le sue travi e le sue pietre».
5 And he went out the angel who was speaking with me and he said to me lift up please eyes your and see what? [is] the [thing which] is going forth this.
Poi l'angelo che parlava con me si avvicinò e mi disse: «Alza gli occhi e osserva ciò che appare».
6 And I said what? [is] it and he said this [is] the ephah which is going forth and he said this [is] appearance their in all the land.
E io: «Che cosa è quella?». Mi rispose: «E' un' efa che avanza». Poi soggiunse: «Questa è la loro corruzione in tutta la terra».
7 And there! a round cover of lead [was] raised and this woman one [was] sitting in [the] midst of the ephah.
Fu quindi alzato un coperchio di piombo; ecco dentro all' efa vi era una donna.
8 And he said this [woman] [is] wickedness and he threw her into [the] midst of the ephah and he threw [the] weight of lead into mouth its.
Disse: «Questa è l'empietà!». Poi la ricacciò dentro l' efa e ricoprì l'apertura con il coperchio di piombo.
9 And I lifted up eyes my and I saw and there! two women [were] going forth and a wind [was] in wings their and [belonged] to them wings like [the] wings of stork and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and between the heavens.
Alzai di nuovo gli occhi per osservare e vidi venire due donne: il vento agitava le loro ali, poiché avevano ali come quelle delle cicogne, e sollevarono l' efa fra la terra e il cielo.
10 And I said to the angel who was speaking with me where? [are] they taking the ephah.
Domandai all'angelo che parlava con me: «Dove portano l' efa costoro?».
11 And he said to me to build for it a house in [the] land of Shinar and it will be prepared and it will be placed there on on own stand its.
Mi rispose: «Vanno nella terra di Sènnaar per costruirle un tempio. Appena costruito, l' efa sarà posta sopra il suo piedistallo».
