Zechariah 5
1 And I returned and I lifted up eyes my and I saw and there! a scroll flying.
En ik hief mijn ogen weder op, en ik zag; en ziet, een vliegende rol.
2 And he said to me what? [are] you seeing and I said I [am] seeing a scroll flying length its [is] twenty by the cubit and breadth its [is] ten by the cubit.
En Hij zeide tot mij: Wat ziet gij? En ik zeide: Ik zie een vliegende rol, welker lengte is van twintig ellen, en haar breedte van tien ellen.
3 And he said to me this [is] the curse which is about to go forth over [the] surface of all the land for every [one who] steals from this according to it he will be purged and every [one who] swears an oath from this according to it he will be purged.
Toen zeide Hij tot mij: Dit is de vloek, die uitgaan zal over het ganse land; want een iegelijk, die steelt, zal van hier, volgens denzelven vloek, uitgeroeid worden; desgelijks een iegelijk, die valselijk zweert, zal van hier, volgens denzelven vloek, uitgeroeid worden.
4 I will send forth it [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts and it will go into [the] house of the thief and into [the] house of the [one who] swears an oath by name my to falsehood and it will lodge in [the] midst of house his and it will destroy it and wood its and stone its.
Ik breng dezen vloek voort, spreekt de HEERE der heirscharen, dat hij kome in het huis van den dief, en in het huis desgenen, die bij Mijn Naam valselijk zweer; en hij zal het verteren, met zijn houten en zijn stenen.
5 And he went out the angel who was speaking with me and he said to me lift up please eyes your and see what? [is] the [thing which] is going forth this.
En de Engel, Die met mij sprak, ging uit, en zeide tot mij: Hef nu uw ogen op, en zie, wat dit zij, dat er voortkomt.
6 And I said what? [is] it and he said this [is] the ephah which is going forth and he said this [is] appearance their in all the land.
En ik zeide: Wat is dat? En Hij zeide: Dit is een efa, die voortkomt. Verder zeide Hij: Dit is het oog over henlieden in het ganse land.
7 And there! a round cover of lead [was] raised and this woman one [was] sitting in [the] midst of the ephah.
En ziet, een plaat van lood werd opgeheven, en er was een vrouw, zittende in het midden der efa.
8 And he said this [woman] [is] wickedness and he threw her into [the] midst of the ephah and he threw [the] weight of lead into mouth its.
En Hij zeide: Deze is de goddeloosheid; en Hij wierp ze in het midden van de efa; en Hij wierp het loden gewicht op den mond derzelve.
9 And I lifted up eyes my and I saw and there! two women [were] going forth and a wind [was] in wings their and [belonged] to them wings like [the] wings of stork and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and between the heavens.
En ik hief mijn ogen op, en ik zag; en ziet, twee vrouwen kwamen voort, en wind was in haar vleugelen, en zij hadden vleugelen, als de vleugelen eens ooievaars; en zij voerden de efa tussen de aarde en tussen den hemel.
10 And I said to the angel who was speaking with me where? [are] they taking the ephah.
Toen zeide ik tot den Engel, Die met mij sprak: Waarhenen brengen zij deze efa?
11 And he said to me to build for it a house in [the] land of Shinar and it will be prepared and it will be placed there on on own stand its.
En Hij zeide tot mij: Om haar een huis te bouwen in het land Sinear; dat zij daar gevestigd en gesteld worde op haar grondvesting.
