Zechariah 3
1 And he showed me Joshua the priest great standing before [the] angel of Yahweh and the accuser [was] standing at right [hand] his to accuse him.
Derpaa lod han mig se Ypperstepræsten Josua, og han stod foran HERRENS Engel, medens Satan stod ved hans højre Side for at føre Klage imod ham.
2 And he said Yahweh to the accuser may he rebuke Yahweh you O accuser and may he rebuke Yahweh you who has chosen Jerusalem ¿ not [is] this a piece of firewood plucked out from a fire.
Men HERREN sagde til Satan: »HERREN true dig, Satan, HERREN true dig, han, som udvalgte Jerusalem. Er denne ikke en Brand, som er reddet ud af Ilden?«
3 And Joshua he was clothed garments filthy and standing before the angel.
Josua havde snavsede Klæder paa og stod foran Engelen;
4 And he answered and he said to those [who] were standing before him saying remove the garments filthy from on him and he said to him see I have taken away from on you iniquity your and I will clothe you robes.
men denne tog til Orde og sagde til dem, som stod ham til Tjeneste: »Tag de snavsede Klæder af ham!« Og til ham sagde han: »Se, jeg har taget din Skyld fra dig, og du skal have Højtidsklæder paa.«
5 And I said let them put a turban clean on head his and they put the turban clean on head his and they clothed him garments and [the] angel of Yahweh [was] standing.
Og han sagde: »Sæt et rent Hovedbind paa hans Hoved!« Og de satte et rent Hovedbind paa hans Hoved og gav ham rene Klæder paa. Saa traadte HERRENS Engel frem,
6 And he admonished [the] angel of Yahweh Joshua saying.
og HERRENS Engel vidnede for Josua og sagde:
7 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts if in ways my you will walk and if charge my you will keep and also you you will govern house my and also you will guard courts my and I will give to you goings between those [who] are standing these.
Saa siger Hærskarers HERRE: Hvis du vandrer paa mine Veje og holder mine Forskrifter, skal du baade Raade i mit Hus og vogte mine Forgaarde, og jeg giver dig Gang og Sæde blandt dem, som staar her.
8 Hear please O Joshua - the priest great you and companions your who sit before you for [are] men of sign they for here I [am] about to bring servant my branch.
Hør, du Ypperstepræst Josua, du og dine Embedsbrødre, som sidder for dit Ansigt: de er Varselmænd! Thi se, jeg lader min Tjener Zemak komme.
9 For - there! the stone which I have set before Joshua [are] on a stone one seven eyes here I [am] about to engrave engraving its [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts and I will remove [the] iniquity of the land that in a day one.
Thi se, den Sten, jeg lægger hen for Josua — paa den ene Sten er syv Øjne — se, jeg rister selv dens Indskrift, lyder det fra Hærskarers HERRE, og paa een Dag udsletter jeg dette Lands Skyld.
10 In the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts you will invite each neighbor his to under a vine and to under a fig tree.
Paa hin Dag, lyder det fra Hærskarers HERRE, skal I byde hverandre til Gæst under Vinstok og Figentræ.
