Zechariah 2

1 And I lifted up eyes my and I saw and there! a man and [was] in hand his a cord of measurement.

2 And I said where? [are] you going and he said to me to measure Jerusalem to see how much? [is] breadth its and how much? [is] length its.

Te phoeiah, “Melam na caeh?” ka ti nah. Te dongah kai te, “Jerusalem he nueh ham, a daang meyet, a yun meyet khaw hmuh hamla,” a ti.

3 And there! the angel who was speaking with me [was] going out and an angel another [was] going out to meet him.

Te vaengah kai taengah aka cal puencawn te tarha ha nong tih anih aka doe la puencawn a tloe ha pawk.

4 And he said (to him *Q(k)*) run speak to the young man this saying open regions it will remain Jerusalem from [the] multitude of person[s] and livestock in [the] midst of it.

Te phoeiah anih te, “Yong laeh, camoe te thui pah. Hlang neh a khui kah rhamsa te cungkuem coeng tih, Jerusalem te vongah om ni, 'ti nah.

5 And I I will be to it [the] utterance of Yahweh a wall of fire all around and glory I will become in [the] middle of it.

He tah BOEIPA kah olphong ni. A taengah ka om puei ni. A kaepvai kah hmai vongtung neh a khui ah thangpomnah la ka om ni.

6 Alas! alas! flee from [the] land of [the] north [the] utterance of Yahweh that like [the] four [the] winds of the heavens I have scattered you [the] utterance of Yahweh.

Anunae, anunae, tlangpuei khohmuen lamloh rhaelrham laeh. BOEIPA kah olphong coeng ni. Vaan khohli pali bangla nangmih te kan yaal coeng. He tah BOEIPA kah olphong ni.

7 Alas! O Zion escape O inhabitant[s] of [the] daughter of Babylon.

Anunae, Zion, Babylon tanu khosa te poenghal laeh.

8 For thus he says Yahweh of hosts after honor he has sent me to the nations who plundered you for the [one who] touches you [is] touching [the] pupil of eye his.

Te dongah caempuei BOEIPA loh a thui coeng. Thangpomnah hnukah kai loh nangmih aka buem namtom taengla a tueih. Nangmih aka puei loh a mik dongkah mikmu te a puei pah.

9 For here I [am] about to brandish hand my on them and they will be plunder for own slaves their and you will know that Yahweh of hosts he has sent me.

Kai khaw amih taengah ka kut ka thueng ngawn coeng he. Te dongah a sal rhoek ham kutbuem la om uh ni. Te vaengah caempuei BOEIPA loh kai n'tueih te na ming uh bitni.

10 Shout for joy and rejoice O daughter of Zion for here I [am] about to come and I will dwell in midst of you [the] utterance of Yahweh.

Zion nu, tamhoe lamtah kohoe sak. Ka lo coeng tih na khui ah kho ka sak ni he. He tah BOEIPA kah olphong ni.

11 And they will join themselves nations many to Yahweh in the day that and they will become for me a people and I will dwell in midst of you and you will know that Yahweh of hosts he has sent me to you.

Te khohnin ah tah namtom rhoek te BOEIPA taengla muep naep uh ni. Kamah taengah pilnam la om uh vetih na khui ah kho ka sak ni. Te vaengah caempuei BOEIPA loh nang taengla kai n'tueih te na ming bitni.

12 And he will inherit Yahweh Judah portion his on [the] land of holiness and he will choose again Jerusalem.

Te vaengah BOEIPA lohJudah te hmuencim khohmuen ah a khoyo a pang sak vetih Jerusalem te koep a coelh ni.

13 Hush! O all flesh from before Yahweh for he has roused himself from [the] dwelling place of holiness his.

Pumsa boeih he BOEIPA mikhmuh ah saah lah hoeih, a hmuencim kah khuirhung lamloh haenghang coeng.
