Zechariah 1
1 In the month eighth in year two of Darius it came [the] word of Yahweh to Zechariah [the] son of Berekiah [the] son of Iddo the prophet saying.
Nell'ottavo mese dell'anno secondo del regno di Dario, fu rivolta questa parola del Signore al profeta Zaccaria figlio di Barachia, figlio di Iddò:
2 He was angry Yahweh towards ancestors your anger.
«Il Signore si è molto sdegnato contro i vostri padri.
3 And you will say to them thus he says Yahweh of hosts return to me [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts so I may return to you he says Yahweh of hosts.
Tu dunque riferirai loro: Così parla il Signore degli eserciti: Convertitevi a me - oracolo del Signore degli eserciti - e io mi rivolgerò a voi, dice il Signore degli eserciti.
4 May not you be like ancestors your whom they proclaimed to them the prophets former saying thus he says Yahweh of hosts turn back please from ways your evil (and deeds your *Q(k)*) evil and not they listened and not they paid attention to me [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Non siate come i vostri padri, ai quali i profeti di un tempo andavan gridando: Dice il Signore degli eserciti: Tornate indietro dal vostro cammino perverso e dalle vostre opere malvage. Ma essi non vollero ascoltare e non mi prestarono attenzione, dice il Signore.
5 Ancestors your where? [are] they and the prophets ¿ to forever do they live.
Dove sono i vostri padri? Iprofeti forse vivranno sempre?
6 Nevertheless - words my and statutes my which I commanded servants my the prophets ¿ not did they overtake ancestors your and they repented and they said just as he planned Yahweh of hosts to do to us according to ways our and according to deeds our so he has done with us.
Le parole e i decreti che io avevo comunicato ai miei servi, i profeti, non si sono forse adempiuti sui padri vostri? Essi si sono convertiti e hanno detto: Quanto il Signore degli eserciti ci aveva minacciato a causa dei nostri traviamenti e delle nostre colpe, l'ha eseguito sopra di noi».
7 On day twenty and four of one [plus] ten month it [was] [the] month of Shebat in year two of Darius it came [the] word of Yahweh to Zechariah [the] son of Berekiah [the] son of Iddo the prophet saying.
Il ventiquattro dell'undecimo mese, cioè il mese di Sebàt, l'anno secondo di Dario, questa parola del Signore si manifestò al profeta Zaccaria, figlio di Iddò.
8 I saw - the night and there! a man [was] riding on a horse red and he [was] standing between the myrtle trees which [were] in the hollow and [were] behind him horses red sorrel and white.
Io ebbi una visione di notte. Un uomo, in groppa a un cavallo rosso, stava fra i mirti in una valle profonda; dietro a lui stavano altri cavalli rossi, sauri e bianchi.
9 And I said what? [are] these O lord my and he said to me the angel who was speaking with me I I will show you what? they [are] these.
Io domandai: «Mio signore, che significano queste cose?». L'angelo che parlava con me mi rispose: «Io t'indicherò ciò che esse significano».
10 And he answered the man who was standing between (the myrtle trees *LB(ah)*) and he said these [are those] whom he has sent Yahweh to go about on the earth.
Allora l'uomo che stava fra i mirti prese a dire: «Essi sono coloro che il Signore ha inviati a percorrere la terra».
11 And they answered [the] angel of Yahweh who was standing between the myrtle trees and they said we have gone about on the earth and there! all the earth [is] dwelling and [is] undisturbed.
Si rivolsero infatti all'angelo del Signore che stava fra i mirti e gli dissero: «Abbiamo percorso la terra: è tutta tranquilla».
12 And he answered [the] angel of Yahweh and he said O Yahweh of hosts until when? you not will you have compassion on Jerusalem and [the] cities of Judah which you have been indignant this seventy year[s].
Allora l'angelo del Signore disse: «Signore degli eserciti, fino a quando rifiuterai di aver pietà di Gerusalemme e delle città di Giuda, contro le quali sei sdegnato? Sono ormai settant'anni!».
13 And he answered Yahweh the angel who was speaking with me words good words comfort.
E all'angelo che parlava con me il Signore rivolse parole buone, piene di conforto.
14 And he said to me the angel who was speaking with me proclaim saying thus he says Yahweh of hosts I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion jealousy great.
Poi l'angelo che parlava con me mi disse: «Fà sapere questo: Così dice il Signore degli eserciti: Io sono ingelosito per Gerusalemme e per Sion di gelosia grande;
15 And anger great I [am] angry towards the nations at ease which I I was angry a little and they they have helped for evil.
ma ardo di sdegno contro le nazioni superbe, poiché mentre io ero un poco sdegnato, esse cooperarono al disastro.
16 Therefore thus he says Yahweh I have returned to Jerusalem with compassion house my it will be rebuilt in it [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts (and a measuring-line *Q(K)*) it will be stretched out over Jerusalem.
Perciò dice il Signore: Io di nuovo mi volgo con compassione a Gerusalemme: la mia casa vi sarà riedificata - parola del Signore degli eserciti - e la corda del muratore sarà tesa di nuovo sopra Gerusalemme.
17 Again - proclaim saying thus he says Yahweh of hosts again they will overflow cities my from good and he will comfort Yahweh again Zion and he will choose again Jerusalem.
Fà sapere anche questo: Così dice il Signore degli eserciti: Le mie città avranno sovrabbondanza di beni, il Signore avrà ancora compassione di Sion ed eleggerà di nuovo Gerusalemme».
18 And I lifted up eyes my and I saw and there! four horns.
Poi alzai gli occhi ed ecco, vidi quattro corna.
19 And I said to the angel who was speaking with me what? [are] these and he said to me these [are] the horns which they scattered Judah Israel and Jerusalem.
Domandai all'angelo che parlava con me: «Che cosa sono queste?». Ed egli: «Sono le corna che hanno disperso Giuda, Israele e Gerusalemme».
20 And he showed me Yahweh four craftsmen.
Poi il Signore mi fece vedere quattro operai.
21 And I said what? [are] these coming to do and he said saying these [are] the horns which they scattered Judah according to [the] mouth of a man not he lifted up head his and they have come these [craftsmen] to terrify them to throw down [the] horns of the nations which lifted up a horn against [the] land of Judah to scatter it.
Domandai: «Che cosa vengono a fare costoro?». Mi rispose: «Le corna hanno disperso Giuda a tal segno che nessuno osa più alzare la testa e costoro vengono a demolire e abbattere le corna delle nazioni che cozzano contro il paese di Giuda per disperderlo».
