< Romans 9 >
1 [The] truth I speak in Christ, Not I am lying, while is bearing witness with me the conscience of mine in [the] Spirit Holy,

2 that grief to me is great and unceasing sorrow in the heart of me.

3 was wishing for a curse to be [my]self I myself separated from Christ for the brothers of mine the kinsmen of mine according to [the] flesh;

4 who are Israelites, whose [is] the divine adoption as sons and the glory and the covenants and the lawgiving and the service and the promises,
ivo vanhu veIsraeri. Kuva vana ndokwavo; nokubwinya ndokwavo, nesungano, nokupiwa kwomurayiro, nokunamata Mwari mutemberi uye zvipikirwa ndezvavo.
5 whose [are] the patriarchs and from whom [is] Christ according to the flesh, who is being over all God blessed to the ages, Amen. (aiōn )
Madzibaba ndeavo, uye naKristu akabva kwavari panyama, ari Mwari pamusoro pazvose, anokudzwa nokusingaperi! Ameni. (aiōn )
6 [It is] not as however that has failed the word of God. Not for all who [are] of Israel [are] these Israel;
Hazvirevi kuti shoko raMwari rakakundikana. Nokuti havasi vose vari zvizvarwa zvaIsraeri vanova vaIsraeri.
7 Nor because they are seed of Abraham [are] all children, rather In Isaac will be named to you offspring.
Uye nokuti zvavari vorudzi rwake, vose vana vaAbhurahama. Asi zvinonzi, “Kuna Isaka ndiko kuchatumidzwa rudzi rwako.”
8 That is not the children of the flesh these [are] children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as offspring.
Namamwe mashoko, havasi vana panyama vanova vana vaMwari, asi vana vechipikirwa ndivo vanonzi vana vaAbhurahama.
9 Of [the] promise for the word [is] this: At time this I will come and there will be to Sarah a son.
Nokuti aya ndiwo mashoko echipikirwa: “Panguva yakatarwa ndichauya, uye Sara achava nomwanakomana.”
10 Not only then, but also Rebecca by one conception having Isaac the father of us;
Kwete izvozvo zvoga, asi kuti naRabhekawo akava navana vomunhu mumwe uye baba vamwe, baba vedu Isaka.
11 not yet not yet for having been born nor having done anything good or (evil, *N(k)O*) so that the according to election purpose of God may stand, not of works but of the [One] calling,
Asi mapatya asati azvarwa, vasati vaita chakanaka kana chakaipa, kuitira kuti kuda kwaMwari pakusarudza kwake kusimbiswe,
12 it was said to her that The older will serve the younger;
kwete nokuda kwamabasa asi nokuda kwake iye anodana, akaudzwa kuti, “Mukuru achava muranda womuduku.”
13 (Even as *NK(o)*) it has been written: Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.
Sezvazvakanyorwa zvichinzi: “Jakobho ndakamuda, asi Esau ndakamuvenga.”
14 What then will we say? Not injustice with God [is there]? Never would it be!
Zvino tichatiiko? Mwari haaruramisiri here? Kwete napaduku!
15 To Moses for He says: I will show mercy to whom maybe I may show mercy and I will have compassion on whom maybe I may have compassion.
Nokuti anoti kuna Mozisi: “Ndichanzwira ngoni wandichanzwira ngoni, uye ndichaitira tsitsi wandichaitira tsitsi.”
16 So then [it is] not of the [one who is] willing nor of the [one who is] running but of the [one who is] showing mercy of God.
Naizvozvo, hazvibvi pashungu kana pamabasa omunhu, asi patsitsi dzaMwari.
17 Says for the Scripture to Pharaoh that For this very therefore I have raised up you so that I may show in you the power of Mine and that may be declared the name of Me in all the earth.
Nokuti Rugwaro runoti kuna Faro, “Ndakakumutsira chikonzero ichochi, kuti ndiratidze simba rangu mauri uye kuti zita rangu rigoparidzwa panyika yose.”
18 So then to whom He wants He shows mercy, whom now He wants He hardens.
Naizvozvo Mwari anonzwira ngoni waanoda kunzwira ngoni, uye anoomesa mwoyo wouyo waanoda kuomesa.
19 You will say to me then: Why (then *NO*) still does He find fault? The for purpose of Him who has been resisting?
Mumwe wenyu angati kwandiri, “Zvino sei Mwari achiramba achitipa mhosva? Nokuti ndianiko acharamba kuda kwake?”
20 O man, but rather, you yourself who are who is answering against to God? Not will say the thing formed to the [One] having formed [it]; Why me did you make like this?
Zvino iwe munhu, ndiwe aniko, kuti upindure Mwari? “Chakaumbwa chingati kune akachiumba, ‘Wakandiitirei zvakadai?’”
21 Or not has authority the potter over the clay out of the same lump to make one indeed unto honor vessel one however unto dishonor?
Muumbi wehari haana simba pamusoro pevhu here, kuti nebundu rimwe chetero aite mimwe midziyo inokudzwa nemimwe midziyo isingakudzwi?
22 What if now desiring God to show the wrath and to make known the power of Him bore with much patience [the] vessels of wrath fitted for destruction,
Ko, kana Mwari akasarudza kuratidza kutsamwa kwake, uye kuti azivise simba rake, akaita nomwoyo murefu zvikuru pamusoro pemidziyo yokutsamwira kwake, yakagadzirirwa kuparadzwa?
23 also that He may make known the riches of the glory of Him upon [the] vessels of mercy which He prepared beforehand for glory?
Kana akaita izvi kuti azivise kupfuma kwokubwinya kwake kumidziyo yengoni, avo vaakagadzirira kare kubwinya,
24 whom even He has called us not only out from [the] Jews but also out from [the] Gentiles,
kunyange isu, vaya vaakadana, kwete kubva kuvaJudha chete asi nokubva kune veDzimwe Ndudziwo?
25 As also in Hosea He says: I will call that which [is] not people of Mine people of Mine and her who not loved loved.
Sezvaanotaura mubhuku raHosea achiti: “Ndichavati ‘vanhu vangu’ vaya vakanga vasiri vanhu vangu; uye ndichamuti, ‘mudikanwi wangu’ iye akanga asiri mudikanwi wangu,”
26 and It will happen that in the place where it was said to them; Not people of Mine [are] You yourselves, there they will be called sons of God [the] living.
uye, Zvichaitika kuti paya painzi kwavari, “Hamusi vanhu vangu; vachanzi ‘vanakomana vaMwari mupenyu.’”
27 Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel: Though shall be the number of the sons of Israel as the sand of the sea, [only] the (vestige *N(k)O*) will be saved;
Uye Isaya anodanidzira pamusoro peIsraeri, achiti: “Kunyange kuwanda kwavaIsraeri kwakaita sejecha regungwa, vakasara chete ndivo vachaponeswa.
28 [The] sentence for concluding and bringing swiftly (in righteousness for word brought swiftly *K*) will perform [the] Lord upon the earth.
Nokuti Ishe achaisa mutongo wake panyika nokukurumidza uye achaupedzisa.”
29 And even as has foretold Isaiah: only unless [the] Lord of Hosts had left us descendants, like Sodom then we should have become and like Gomorrah then would we have been made.
Zvakaita sezvakarehwa kare naIsaya achiti: “Dai asiri Jehovha Wamasimba Ose akatisiyira zvizvarwa, tingadai takaita seSodhomu tingadai takaita seGomora.”
30 What then will we say? That Gentiles not pursuing righteousness have grasped righteousness, righteousness now that [is] by faith;
Zvino tichatiiko? Tichati veDzimwe Ndudzi vasina kutsvaka kururama, ndivo vakakuwana, iko kururama kwokutenda;
31 Israel however pursuing a law of righteousness to [that] law (righteousness *k*) not did attain.
asi vaIsraeri vakatevera murayiro wokurarama, havana kukuwana.
32 Because of why? Because [it was] not by faith but as by works (of law; *K*) They stumbled (for *k*) over the stone of stumbling
Seiko zvakadaro? Nokuti havana kuutevera nokutenda asi sokunge namabasa avo. Vakagumburwa neibwe “rinogumbusa.”
33 even as it has been written: Behold I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, and (everyone *K*) who is believing on Him never will be put to shame.
Sezvazvakanyorwa zvichinzi: “Tarira, ndinoisa paZioni ibwe rinogumbusa kuvanhu, nedombo rinovapinganidza kuti vawe, uye uyo anotenda kwaari haazonyadziswi.”
