< Romans 14 >
1 The [one] now being weak in the faith do receive not for passing judgment on reasonings.
Chikꞌamawaꞌj ri man kꞌo taj uchuqꞌabꞌ pa ri ukojobꞌal, rech jeriꞌ man kibꞌan taj tijoj chuqꞌabꞌ rukꞌ pa tzij.
2 One indeed believes to eat all things, the [one] however being weak vegetables eats.
E kꞌo jujun kakibꞌij chi ri kikojobꞌal kuya bꞌe chike kakitij ronojel uwach jastaq, e kꞌo chi kꞌu nikꞌaj ri maj kichuqꞌabꞌ pa ri kikojobꞌal, xaq xwi ichaj kakitijo.
3 The [one] eating the [one] not eating not he should despise, (and *k*) the [one] (now *no*) not eating him eating not he should judge; God for him has received.
Ri kutij ronojel uwach jastaq, makuya taj karetzelaj ri xaq jujun jastaq kutijo, je xuqujeꞌ ri xaq kꞌyaqal taq jastaq kutijo, makuya taj kuqꞌat tzij puꞌwiꞌ ri kutij ronojel uwach jastaq, rumal cher ri Dios kuꞌkꞌamawaꞌj kikobꞌchal.
4 You yourself who are who is judging another’s servant? To the own master he stands or falls. He will be upheld however, (able is *N(k)O*) for (is *k*) the (Lord *N(K)O*) to uphold him.
¿At jachin at che ri kaqꞌat tzij puꞌwiꞌ jun rajchak chi jun? We ko kꞌolik o wine katzaqik, are ri Rajaw riꞌ kilowik. Tzi ko kꞌu wi kakꞌojiꞌ na rumal cher ri Ajawxel kꞌo uchuqꞌabꞌ chi rukꞌaꞌxik.
5 One indeed (for *no*) judges a day [to be] above [another] day, one [other] however judges every day [alike]; Each in the own mind should be fully assured.
Kꞌo winaq ri sibꞌalaj nim karil jun qꞌij cho jun chik, kꞌo chi jun xaq junam karil ronojel ri qꞌij. Rajawaxik kꞌut ko kakꞌojiꞌ jun pa ri uchomabꞌal.
6 The [one] regarding the day to [the] Lord regards [it] (and the [one] not regarding the day to [the] Lord not regards [it]; *K*) (And *no*) the [one] eating to [the] Lord eats, he gives thanks for to God; and the [one] not eating to [the] Lord not he eats, and he gives thanks to God.
Ri winaq ri sibꞌalaj nim karil jun qꞌij cho ri nikꞌaj chik, kuya uqꞌij ri Ajawxel rukꞌ ri uchomanik. Ri kutij ronojel uwach jastaq, kutijo chuqꞌijilaꞌxik ri Ajawxel, xuqujeꞌ kukꞌutu chi katyoxin che ri Dios. Je xuqujeꞌ ri man kutij taj ronojel uwach jastaq, jeriꞌ kubꞌano chuqꞌijilaꞌxik ri Dios.
7 No [one] for of us to himself lives and no [one] to himself dies.
Jeriꞌ rumal cher man kꞌo ta jun chaqe xaq pa rech wi kꞌaslik xuqujeꞌ man kꞌo ta jun xaq pa rech wi kakamik.
8 If both for we shall live, to the Lord we live, if also we shall die, to the Lord we die. If both therefore we shall live, if also we shall die, the Lord’s we are.
We kujkꞌasiꞌk, kujkꞌasiꞌk chuyaꞌik uqꞌij ri Dios rukꞌ ri kaqabꞌano, we kujkamik, kujkamik chuyaꞌik uqꞌij ri Dios. Xaq jeriꞌ we uj kꞌaslik o uj kaminaq, uj rech ri Ajawxel.
9 Unto this for Christ (and *k*) died (and rose up *K*) and (lived again, *N(k)O*) that both over [the] dead and living He may rule.
Rumal kꞌu waꞌ xkam ri Cristo xuqujeꞌ xkꞌastaj uwach, rech jeriꞌ kux Ajawxel ri uj ri uj kꞌaslik xuqujeꞌ ke ri e kaminaq chik.
10 You yourself however why judge you the brother or you? or also you yourself why do despise the brother of you? All for we will stand before the judgment seat (of God. *N(K)O*)
Ri at kꞌut, ¿jas che kaqꞌat tzij puꞌwiꞌ ri awachalal? O ¿jas che kawetzelaj? Qonojel kujopan na cho ri uqꞌatbꞌal tzij ri Cristo.
11 It has been written for: Live I myself, says [the] Lord, that to Me myself will bow every knee, and every tongue will confess to God.
Ri tzꞌibꞌatalik kubꞌij: “In in Kꞌaslik,” kacha ri Ajawxel, “chinuwach in kexukiꞌ wi na konojel ri winaq, xuqujeꞌ konojel kakiqꞌalajisaj na ri ubꞌiꞌ ri Dios.”
12 So then each of us concerning his own account (will give *NK(o)*) to God.
Xaq jeriꞌ chiqajujunal kaqabꞌij na cho ri Dios ri qabꞌanom.
13 No longer therefore one another shall we judge, but this do determine rather, not to put [any] stumbling block before [your] brother or snare.
Xaq jeriꞌ chujtanal chuqꞌatik tzij pa taq qawiꞌ chiqajujunal. Are utz we man kaqakoj topibꞌal aqanaj chike ri alaxik.
14 I know and I have been persuaded in [the] Lord Jesus that nothing [is] unclean through (itself, *NK(o)*) only except by the [one] reckoning anything unclean to be, to that one unclean [it is];
Ri in qas jeqel na kꞌuꞌx chirij ri Ajawxel Jesús, chi man kꞌo ta jun jastaq ri awas utijik pa rech wi. We kꞌu ne kꞌo jun kuchomaj chi awas utijik jun jastaq xaq xwi awas riꞌ che ri winaq ri jeriꞌ kachomanik.
15 If (for *N(k)O*) on account of food the brother of you is grieved, no longer no longer according to love are you walking. Not with the food of you that one do destroy for whom Christ died.
We kꞌu rumal ri jastaq tijowik rij kayojtaj ri awachalal, man tajin ta katnoꞌjin riꞌ rukꞌ loqꞌanik. Man kabꞌan ta kꞌax che ri awachalal rumal rech ri tijowik rij, jeriꞌ rumal cher ri Cristo xkam rumal re ri awachalal.
16 Not should be denigrated therefore your good.
Pa jun tzij chik, miya bꞌe chi itzel kabꞌan chutzijoxik ri utzilal ri kibꞌano.
17 Not for is the kingdom of God eating and drinking but righteousness and peace and joy in [the] Spirit Holy;
Rumal kꞌu cher pa ri ajawarem rech ri Dios, man are taj sibꞌalaj choqꞌaqꞌ ri katijik xuqujeꞌ ri kaqumuxik, xane are sibꞌalaj choqꞌaqꞌ ubꞌanik ri sukꞌal, jaꞌmaril, kiꞌkotemal pa ri Uxlabꞌixel.
18 The [one] for in (this thing *N(K)O*) serving Christ [is] well-pleasing to God and approved by men.
Ri winaq ri jewaꞌ kubꞌan chupatanixik ri Cristo, kaqaj cho ri Dios xuqujeꞌ kabꞌix na che kumal ri achyabꞌ chi utz ri tajin kubꞌano.
19 So then the [things] of peace we may pursue and the [things] for edification among each other.
Xaq jeriꞌ are qabꞌana ri jastaq ri katobꞌan chukꞌamik loq jaꞌmaril xuqujeꞌ ri kubꞌan utz chike nikꞌaj chik.
20 Not for the sake of food do destroy the work of God. All things indeed [are] clean but [it is] evil to the man through a stumbling block eating;
Mabꞌan kꞌax che ri uchak ri Dios rumal rech ri jastaq tijowik rij. Ronojel ri jastaq ri tijowik rij chꞌajchꞌoj, kꞌax kꞌu riꞌ we ketzaq pa mak nikꞌaj chik xa rumal ri jastaq ri kutij jun.
21 [It is] good neither to eat meat nor to drink wine nor [anything] in which the brother of you stumbles (or is led into sin or is weak *KO*)
Sibꞌalaj utz riꞌ we man katij tiꞌj, o vino, xuqujeꞌ xapaskux jastaq ri xaq topibꞌal aqanaj che ri alaxik, jeriꞌ rech man itzel taj kunaꞌo rech man kel ta kanoq pa ri ukojobꞌal.
22 You yourself [the] faith (that *no*) you have to yourself do keep before God; Blessed [is] the [one] not judging himself in what he approves.
We kꞌo akojobꞌal, chakojoꞌ rech katqaj cho ri Dios. Utz rech ri man kuqꞌat ta tzij puꞌwiꞌ chibꞌil ribꞌ rukꞌ ri uchomabꞌal.
23 The [one] however doubting if he shall eat has been condemned, because [it is] not of faith; everything now that [is] not of faith sin is.
Are kꞌu ri xaq kebꞌ ukꞌuꞌx kutij ri jastaq, kaqꞌat na tzij puꞌwiꞌ, rumal cher man tajin ta kutij ri jastaq rukꞌ ukojobꞌal, ronojel ri jastaq ri man rukꞌ taj kojobꞌal katijik, makaj riꞌ.
