Revelation 1
1 [The] revelation of Jesus Christ which gave to him God to show to the bond-servants of Him what things it behooves to take place with speed And He signified [it] having sent through the angel of Him to the servant of Him John,
Jesu Kristi Aabenbaring, som Gud gav ham for at vise sine Tjenere, li vad der skal ske snart, og han sendte Bud ved sin Engel og fremstillede det i Billeder for sin Tjener Johannes,
2 who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ as much as (then *k*) he saw.

3 blessed [is] the [one] reading and those hearing the words of the prophecy and keeping the [things] in it written; for the time [is] near.
Salig er den, som oplæser, og de, som høre Profetiens Ord og bevare det, som er skrevet i den; thi Tiden er nær.
4 John To the seven churches in Asia: Grace to you and peace from (Him *K(O)*) who is and who was and who is coming and from the seven Spirits who (is *k*) before the throne of Him
Johannes til de syv Menigheder i Asien: Naade være med eder og Fred fra ham, som er, og som var, og som kommer, og fra de syv Aander, som ere foran hans Trone,
5 and from Jesus Christ, the witness faithful, the firstborn (from *k*) the dead and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To the [One] (loving *N(k)O*) us and (having released *N(K)O*) us (from *N(k)O*) the sins of us through the blood of Him —
og fra Jesus Kristus, det troværdige Vidne, den førstefødte af de døde og Jordens Kongers Fyrste. Ham, som elsker os og har udløst os af vore Synder med sit Blod
6 and He has made us (a kingdom, *N(K)O*) (and *K*) priests to the God and Father of Him — to Him [be] the glory and the dominion to the ages of the ages, Amen. (aiōn g165)
og har gjort os til et Kongerige, til Præster for sin Gud og Fader: Ham være Æren og Magten i Evighedernes Evigheder! Amen. (aiōn g165)
7 Behold He is coming with the clouds, and will behold Him every eye and those who Him pierced; and will wail because of Him all the tribes of the earth, Yes Amen!
Se, han kommer med Skyerne, og hvert Øje skal se ham, ogsaa de, som have gennemstunget ham, og alle Jordens Stammer skulle jamre ved hans Komme. Ja, Amen!
8 I myself am the Alpha and the Omega (beginning and end *K*) says (the *k*) Lord (God, *NO*) who is being and who was and who is coming, the Almighty.
Jeg er Alfa og Omega, siger Gud Herren, han, som er, og som var, og som kommer, den Almægtige.
9 I myself John, (also *k*) brother of you and (fellow-partaker *NK(o)*) in the tribulation and (in *k*) kingdom and in endurance (in *no*) Jesus (Christ *K*) was in the island which is being called Patmos on account of the word of God and (through *k*) the testimony of Jesus (Christ. *K*)
Jeg Johannes, eders Broder og meddelagtig i Trængselen og Riget og Udholdenheden i Jesus, var paa den Ø, som kaldes Patmos, for Guds Ords og for Jesu Vidnesbyrds Skyld.
10 I was in [the] Spirit on the Lord’s day and I heard behind me a voice loud like that of a trumpet
Jeg henryktes i Aanden paa Herrens Dag, og jeg hørte bag mig en høj Røst som af en Basun, der sagde:
11 saying (I myself *KO*) (am the Alpha and the Omega the first and the last; and *K*) What you see do write in a book and do send to the seven churches (in Asia: *K*) to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.
Hvad du ser, skriv det i en Bog, og send det til de syv Menigheder, til Efesus og til Smyrna og til Pergamus og til Thyatira og til Sardes og til Filadelfia og til Laodikea.
12 And (there *O*) I turned to see the voice that (was speaking *N(k)O*) with me. And having turned I saw seven lampstands golden
Og jeg vendte mig for at se Røsten, som talte med mig; og da jeg vendte mig, saa jeg syv Guldlysestager
13 and in [the] midst of the (seven *KO*) lampstands [One] like ([the] Son *N(k)O*) of Man having clothed himself to the feet and having girded himself about at the breasts with a sash golden.
og midt imellem de syv Lysestager en, lig en Menneskesøn, iført en fodsid Kjortel og omgjordet om Brystet med et Guldbælte.
14 And the head of Him and the hairs [are] white (as if *N(k)O*) wool white as snow and the eyes of Him [are] like a flame of fire
Men hans Hoved og Haar var hvidt som hvid Uld, som Sne; og hans Øjne som Ildslue;
15 and the feet of Him [are] like as fine bronze as in a furnace (refined *N(k)O*) and the voice of Him [is] like [the] voice of waters many
og hans Fødder lignede skinnende Malm, naar det gløder i Ovnen; og hans Røst var som mange Vandes Lyd;
16 and He is holding in the right hand of Him stars seven and out of the mouth of Him a sword two-edged sharp is going forth and the face of Him [is] like the sun shining in the full strength of it.
og i sin højre Haand havde han syv Stjerner; og af hans Mund udgik der et tveægget, skarpt Sværd, og hans Udseende var som Solen, naar den skinner i sin Kraft.
17 And when I saw Him, I fell at the feet of Him as though dead, And (He placed *N(k)O*) the right of Him (hand *K*) upon me myself saying (to me: *k*) Not do fear. I myself am the First and the Last
Og da jeg saa ham, faldt jeg ned for hans Fødder som død; og han lagde sin højre Haand paa mig og sagde:
19 do write (therefore *NO*) [the things] that you have seen and [the things] that are and [the things] that are about (to be *N(k)O*) after these,
Skriv derfor, hvad du saa, baade det, som er, og det, som skal ske herefter.
20 the mystery of the seven stars (which *N(k)O*) you saw on the right hand of Me and the seven lampstands golden: The seven stars [the] angels of the seven churches are and the lampstands (that *N(k)O*) (you saw *K*) seven [the] seven churches are.
Dette er de syv Stjerners Hemmelighed, hvilke du har set i min højre Haand, og de syv Guldlysestager: De syv Stjerner ere de syv Menigheders Engle, og de syv Lysestager ere syv Menigheder.
