Revelation 9
1 And the fifth angel sounded [his] trumpet, and I saw a star out of heaven having fallen to the earth, and was given to it the key of the pit of the abyss, (Abyssos g12)
Kaj la kvina anĝelo trumpetis, kaj mi vidis stelon el la ĉielo falintan sur la teron; kaj al li estis donita la ŝlosilo de la puto de la abismo. (Abyssos g12)
2 And he opened the pit of the abyss; and went up smoke out of the pit like [the] smoke of a furnace (great, *NK(o)*) and (was darkened *N(k)O*) the sun and the air by the smoke of the pit. (Abyssos g12)
Kaj li malfermis la puton de la abismo; kaj el la puto leviĝadis fumo, kiel fumo el granda forno; kaj mallumiĝis la suno kaj la aero pro la fumo de la puto. (Abyssos g12)
3 And out of the smoke came forth locusts unto the earth, and was given to them power, like have power the scorpions of the earth.
Kaj el la fumo eliris akridoj sur la teron; kaj al ili estis donita povo, kiel havas povon la skorpioj de la tero.
4 And it was said to them that not (they will harm *N(k)O*) the grass of the earth nor any green thing nor any tree, only except the men (only *k*) who not having the seal of God on the foreheads (of them. *k*)
Kaj estis ordonite al ili, ke ili ne difektu la herbon de la tero, nek ian verdaĵon, nek ian arbon, sed nur tiujn homojn, kiuj ne havas sur la frunto la sigelon de Dio.
5 And it was granted (to them *N(k)O*) that not they may kill them, but that (they will torment [them] *N(k)O*) months five, And the torment of them [was] like torment of a scorpion when it may strike a man.
Kaj al ili estis komisiite, ke ili ne mortigu ilin, sed ke ili estu turmentataj kvin monatojn; kaj ilia turmento estis kiel turmento de skorpio, kiam ĝi pikvundas homon.
6 And in the days those will seek men death and certainly no more will find it; and they will long to die, and (he flees *N(k)O*) death from them.
Kaj en tiuj tagoj la homoj serĉos morton, kaj ĝin tute ne trovos; kaj ili deziregos morti, kaj morto forflugos de ili.
7 And the appearance of the locusts [was] like as horses prepared for battle, and upon the heads of them [were something] like crowns like (as gold, *NK(o)*) and the faces of them like [the] faces of men.
Kaj la formoj de la akridoj similis ĉevalojn, pretigitajn por milito; kaj sur iliaj kapoj estis kvazaŭ kronoj similaj al oro, kaj iliaj vizaĝoj estis kiel vizaĝoj de homoj.
8 And they had hair like hair of women, and the teeth of them like [those] of lions were.
Kaj ili havis harojn kiel haroj de virinoj, kaj iliaj dentoj estis kiel de leonoj.
9 And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of the wings of them [was] as [the] sound of chariots of horses many rushing into battle.
Kaj ili havis kirasojn, kiel kirasoj el fero; kaj la sono de iliaj flugiloj estis kiel la sono de ĉaroj, de multe da ĉevaloj kurantaj en militon.
10 And they have tails like as scorpions and stingers (it was *k*) and in the tails of them (and *k*) [is] the (power *NK(o)*) (they have *O*) (of them *NK(O)*) to injure men for months five.
Kaj ili havis vostojn similajn al vostoj de skorpioj, kaj pikilojn; kaj en iliaj vostoj estas ilia kapablo difekti la homojn kvin monatojn.
11 (and *k*) (They have *NK(o)*) over them a king angel of the abyss; [The] name of Him in Hebrew [is] Abaddon, (and *NK(o)*) in the Greek [the] name he has Apollyon. (Abyssos g12)
Ili havis super si reĝon, la anĝelon de la abismo; lia nomo estas en la Hebrea lingvo Abadon, kaj en la Greka lingvo li havas la nomon Apolion. (Abyssos g12)
12 Woe the first has passed; Behold (are coming *N(k)O*) still two woes after these things.
La unua Veo jam pasis; jen post tio venas ankoraŭ du Veoj.
13 And the sixth angel sounded [his] trumpet, and I heard voice one from the four horns of the altar golden before God
Kaj la sesa anĝelo trumpetis, kaj mi aŭdis voĉon el la kornoj de la ora altaro, kiu staras antaŭ Dio,
14 (saying *N(k)O*) to the sixth angel (the [one] having *N(k)O*) the trumpet; do release the four angels those bound at the river great Euphrates.
dirantan al la sesa anĝelo, kiu havis la trumpeton: Malligu la kvar anĝelojn, ligitajn apud la granda rivero Eŭfrato.
15 And were released the four angels who prepared for the hour and (for the *o*) day and month and year so that they may kill a third of mankind.
Kaj malligiĝis la kvar anĝeloj, pretigitaj por la horo kaj tago kaj monato kaj jaro, por ke ili mortigu trionon de la homoj.
16 And the number of the armies of the (cavalry [was] *NK(o)*) (twice ten thousand twice ten thousand *N(k)O*) ten thousands; (and *k*) I heard the number of them.
Kaj la nombro de la armeoj de la kavalerio estis ducent milionoj; mi aŭdis ilian nombron.
17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision and those sitting on them having breastplates fiery and hyacinthine and brimstone. And the heads of the horses [were] like heads of lions, and out of the mouths of them proceed fire and smoke and brimstone.
Kaj tiel mi vidis la ĉevalojn en la vizio, kaj la sidantajn sur ili, havantajn kirasojn kiel el fajro kaj el jacinto kaj el sulfuro; kaj la kapoj de la ĉevaloj estis kiel kapoj de leonoj, kaj el iliaj buŝoj eliris fajro kaj fumo kaj sulfuro.
18 (by *N(k)O*) three (plagues *NO*) these was killed a third of mankind, (by *NK(o)*) the fire and (from *k*) the smoke and (from *k*) the brimstone which is proceeding out of the mouths of them.
Per tiuj tri plagoj triono de la homoj estis mortigita, per la fajro kaj la fumo kaj la sulfuro elirantaj el iliaj buŝoj.
19 (the *N(k)O*) for (power of the *N(k)O*) (horses *NO*) in the mouths of them (are *N(k)O*) and in the tails of them. the for tails of them [are] like (as serpents *NK(o)*) having heads and with them they injure.
Ĉar la kapablo de la ĉevaloj estas en iliaj buŝoj kaj en iliaj vostoj; ĉar iliaj vostoj similas serpentojn kaj havas kapojn; kaj per ĉi tiuj ili vundas.
20 And the rest of the men who not were killed by plagues these (not even *N(k)(o)*) repented of the works of the hands of them, so that not (they will worship *N(k)O*) the demons and the idols golden and silver and bronze and stone and wooden, which neither to see (are able *N(k)O*) nor to hear nor to walk,
Kaj la ceteraj homoj, kiuj ne estis mortigitaj per tiuj plagoj, ne pentis pri la faroj de siaj manoj, por ne adorkliniĝi al demonoj, kaj al la idoloj oraj kaj arĝentaj kaj kupraj kaj ŝtonaj kaj lignaj, kiuj povas nek vidi, nek aŭdi, nek marŝi;
21 And not they repented of the murders of them nor of the (sorceries *N(k)O*) of them nor of the sexual immorality of them nor of the thefts of them.
kaj ili ne pentis pri siaj mortigoj, nek pri siaj sorĉoj, nek pri sia malĉastado, nek pri siaj ŝteloj.
