Revelation 21
1 And I saw a heaven new and an earth new. for the first heaven and the first earth (had passed away, *N(k)O*) and the sea not is any longer.
Dann sah ich einen neuen Himmel und eine neue Erde; denn der erste Himmel und die erste Erde waren verschwunden, und auch das Meer ist nicht mehr da.
2 And (I myself John *K*) the city holy Jerusalem new I saw coming down out of heaven from God prepared as a bride adorned for the husband of her.
Und ich sah die heilige Stadt, ein neues Jerusalem, aus dem Himmel herabkommen von Gott her, ausgestattet wie eine für ihren Bräutigam geschmückte Braut.
3 And I heard a voice great from the (throne *N(K)O*) saying: Behold the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and He will tabernacle with them. and they themselves (peoples *NK(o)*) of Him will be, and Himself God with them will be [as] their God.
Dabei hörte ich eine laute Stimme aus dem Himmel rufen: »Siehe da, die Hütte Gottes ist bei den Menschen! Und er wird bei ihnen wohnen, und sie werden sein Volk sein; ja, Gott selbst wird unter ihnen sein
4 And He will wipe away (the God *K*) every tear (from *N(k)O*) the eyes of them, and death not will be any longer nor mourning nor crying nor pain not they will be any longer; because the former things have passed away.
und wird alle Tränen aus ihren Augen abwischen, und der Tod wird nicht mehr sein, und keine Trauer, kein Klaggeschrei und kein Schmerz wird mehr sein; denn das Erste ist vergangen.«
5 And said the [One] sitting on (the throne; *N(k)O*) Behold new I make all things. And He says (to me: *KO*) do write [this] because these the words faithful and true are.
Da sagte der auf dem Thron Sitzende: »Siehe, ich mache alles neu!« Dann fuhr er fort: »Schreibe! Denn diese Worte sind zuverlässig und gewiß!«
6 And He said to me; (It has been done! *N(k)O*) I myself (am *NK(o)*) the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I myself to the [one] thirsting I will give of the spring of the water of life freely.
Weiter sagte er zu mir: »Es ist geschehen. Ich bin das A und das O, der Anfang und das Ende; ich will dem Dürstenden aus der Quelle des Lebenswassers umsonst (zu trinken) geben.
7 The [one] overcoming he will inherit (these [things], *N(k)O*) and I will be to him God, and he himself will be My (*k*) son.
Wer da überwindet, soll dieses erben, und ich will sein Gott sein, und er soll mein Sohn sein.
8 (*no*) But to [the] cowardly and to [the] unbelieving (and to sinners *O*) and having made themselves abominable and to murderers and to the sexually immoral and (to sorcerers *N(k)O*) and to idolaters and to all liars, the portion of them [is] in the lake which is burning with fire and with brimstone, which is the death second. 9 And came (to me *K*) one of the seven angels who are having the seven bowls (which are being full *N(k)O*) of the seven plagues last and spoke with me saying; Come here, I will show you the bride the wife of the Lamb.
Da kam einer von den sieben Engeln, welche die sieben Schalen (gehabt) hatten, die mit den sieben letzten Plagen gefüllt waren, und richtete die Worte an mich: »Komm, ich will dir die Braut, das Weib des Lammes, zeigen!«
10 And he carried away me in [the] Spirit to a mountain great and high and he showed me the city (great *K*) holy Jerusalem descending out of heaven from God,
Hierauf entrückte er mich im Geist auf einen großen, hohen Berg und zeigte mir die heilige Stadt Jerusalem, wie sie aus dem Himmel herabkam von Gott her,
11 having the glory of God. (and *k*) The radiance of it [was] like as a stone most precious like as a stone jasper being clear as crystal
geschmückt mit der Herrlichkeit Gottes. Ihr Lichtglanz war wie der kostbarste Edelstein, wie ein kristalleuchtender Jaspis.
12 having (then *k*) a wall great and high, (having *N(k)O*) gates twelve and at (the gates *NK(o)*) angels twelve, and names inscribed, which are the names of the twelve tribes (of the *k*) of [the] sons of Israel;
Sie hatte eine große, hohe Mauer mit zwölf Toren darin und auf den Toren zwölf Engel (als Wächter); und Namen waren darangeschrieben, nämlich die Namen der zwölf Stämme der Israeliten;
13 On ([the] east *NK(o)*) [were] gates three, (and *no*) on [the] north gates three, (and *no*) on [the] south gates three, and on [the] west gates three.
drei Tore lagen nach Osten, drei nach Norden, drei nach Süden und drei nach Westen.
14 And the wall of the city (had *N(k)O*) foundations twelve and (on them *N(k)O*) (twelve *no*) names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Die Mauer der Stadt hatte zwölf Grundsteine, und auf ihnen standen die zwölf Namen der zwölf Apostel des Lammes geschrieben.
15 And the [one] speaking with me he had (a measuring *NO*) reed golden so that he may measure the city and the gates of it and the wall of it.
Der mit mir redende (Engel) hatte als Meßstab ein goldenes Rohr, um die Stadt sowie ihre Tore und ihre Mauer auszumessen.
16 And the city foursquare lies, and the length of it (so great is *K*) [the] same as also the width. And he measured the city with the reed at (stadia *NK(o)*) twelve thousand (twelve [was] *O*) the length and the breadth and the height of it equal are.
Die Stadt bildet nämlich ein Viereck, und ihre Länge ist ebenso groß wie die Breite. So maß er denn die Stadt mit dem Rohr: zwölftausend Stadien; Länge, Breite und Höhe sind bei ihr gleich.
17 And he measured the wall of it (one hundred forty four *NK(o)*) cubits, [the] measure of man that is of the angel.
Dann maß er ihre Mauer: hundertundvierundvierzig Ellen nach Menschenmaß, das auch Engelmaß ist.
18 And (was *ko*) the structure of the wall of it [was] jasper, and the city gold pure (like *N(k)O*) as glass clear.
Der Baustoff ihrer Mauer ist Jaspis, und die Stadt (selbst) besteht aus lauterem Gold, (durchsichtig) wie reines Glas.
19 (and *ko*) the foundations of the wall of the city with every stone precious adorned. the foundation first jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,
Die Grundsteine der Stadtmauer sind mit Edelsteinen jeder Art verziert: der erste Grundstein ist ein Jaspis, der zweite ein Saphir, der dritte ein Chalzedon, der vierte ein Smaragd,
20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth (sardius, *N(k)O*) the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.
der fünfte ein Sardonyx, der sechste ein Karneol, der siebte ein Chrysolith, der achte ein Beryll, der neunte ein Topas, der zehnte ein Chrysopras, der elfte ein Hyazinth, der zwölfte ein Amethyst.
21 And the twelve gates [were] twelve pearls. each one each of the gates was of one pearl. and the street of the city gold pure as glass (translucent. *N(k)O*)
Die zwölf Tore waren zwölf Perlen; jedes von ihnen bestand aus einer einzigen Perle; und die Straßen der Stadt waren lauteres Gold, wie durchsichtiges Glas.
22 And temple not I saw in it; for the Lord God Almighty temple of it is and the Lamb.
Einen Tempel sah ich nicht in ihr; denn Gott der Herr, der Allmächtige, ist ihr Tempel und (außerdem) das Lamm.
23 And the city no need has of the sun nor of the moon that they may shine (in *k*) in it; the for glory of God enlightened it, and the lamp of it [is] the Lamb.
Auch bedarf die Stadt nicht der Sonne und nicht des Mondes zu ihrer Erleuchtung; denn die Herrlichkeit Gottes spendet ihr Licht, und ihre Leuchte ist das Lamm.
24 And will walk the nations (those being saved *K*) (through the light *N(k)O*) of it and the kings of the earth bring (the *NK(O)*) glory (and the honor *K*) (of them *NK(O)*) into it.
Die Völker werden in ihrem Lichte wandeln, und die Könige der Erde bringen ihre Herrlichkeit in sie hinein.
25 And the gates of it certainly not may be shut by day; night for not will be there.
Ihre Tore werden am Tage niemals verschlossen werden, denn Nacht wird es dort nicht mehr geben,
26 And they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.
und man wird die Herrlichkeit und die Pracht der Völker in sie hineinbringen.
27 And certainly not may enter into it anything (unsanctified *N(k)O*) and (the [one] *no*) (practicing *N(k)O*) abomination and a lie only except those written in the book of life of the Lamb.
Und niemals wird etwas Unreines in sie hineinkommen und niemand, der Greuel und Lüge übt, sondern nur die, welche im Lebensbuche des Lammes verzeichnet stehen.
