Revelation 17
1 And came one of the seven angels those having the seven bowls and spoke with me saying (to me: *K*) Come here, I will show you the punishment of the prostitute great who is sitting upon (*k*) waters (*k*) many,
Mmoja wa wale malaika saba waliokuwa na yale mabakuli saba akaja akaniambia, “Njoo, nitakuonyesha adhabu ya yule kahaba mkuu, aketiye juu ya maji mengi.
2 with whom committed sexual immorality the kings of the earth, and were made drunk those that dwelling on the earth with the wine of the sexual immorality of her.
Yule ambaye wafalme wa dunia walizini naye na watu wakaao duniani walilewa kwa mvinyo wa uzinzi wake.”
3 and he carried away me into a wilderness in [the] Spirit. and I saw a woman sitting upon a beast scarlet (being full *N(k)O*) (of the *o*) (names *N(k)O*) of blasphemy, (having *N(k)O*) heads seven and horns ten.
Kisha yule malaika akanichukua katika Roho akanipeleka jangwani. Huko nikamwona mwanamke mmoja ameketi juu ya mnyama mwekundu aliyejaa majina ya kumkufuru Mungu mwili mzima. Mnyama huyo alikuwa na vichwa saba na pembe kumi.
4 And the woman was clothed in (purple *N(k)O*) and (scarlet *N(k)O*) and adorned (with gold *N(k)O*) and with stone precious and with pearls, holding a cup golden in the hand of her being full of abominations and the (unclean [things] *N(k)O*) of the sexual immorality of her.
Huyo mwanamke alikuwa amevaa mavazi ya rangi ya zambarau na nyekundu, akimetameta kwa dhahabu, vito vya thamani na lulu. Mkononi mwake alikuwa ameshika kikombe cha dhahabu kilichojaa mambo ya machukizo na uchafu wa uzinzi wake.
5 And upon the forehead of her a name written, a mystery: Babylon the Great, the mother of the prostitutes and of the abominations of the earth.
Kwenye kipaji chake cha uso palikuwa pameandikwa jina: “Siri, Babeli Mkuu, Mama wa makahaba na wa machukizo ya dunia.”
6 And I saw the woman being drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus, And I marveled having seen her with wonder great.
Nikaona kuwa huyo mwanamke alikuwa amelewa kwa damu ya watakatifu, yaani, damu ya wale watu waliouawa kwa ushuhuda wa Yesu. Nilipomwona huyo mwanamke, nilistaajabu sana.
7 And said to me the angel; Because of why did you marvel? I myself will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast who is carrying her who is having the seven heads and the ten horns.
Ndipo yule malaika akaniambia, “Kwa nini unastaajabu? Nitakufafanulia siri ya huyo mwanamke na huyo mnyama aliyempanda, mwenye vichwa saba na pembe kumi.
8 The beast that you saw was and not is and is about to come up out of the abyss and into destruction (go. *N(k)O*) and (will be astonished *N(k)O*) those dwelling on the earth, whose not has been written (name *N(k)O*) in the book of life from [the] foundation of [the] world, (seeing *N(k)O*) the beast (that *N(k)O*) was and not is (and yet *N(k)O*) (it will exist. *N(K)O*) (Abyssos g12)
Huyo mnyama ambaye ulimwona, wakati fulani alikuwepo, lakini sasa hayupo, naye atapanda kutoka lile Shimo na kwenda kwenye maangamizo yake. Watu waishio duniani ambao majina yao hayakuandikwa kwenye kitabu cha uzima tangu kuumbwa kwa ulimwengu watastaajabu kumwona huyo mnyama, kwa maana alikuwepo wakati fulani, na sasa hayupo, lakini atakuwepo. 9 Here [is] the mind which is having wisdom. The seven heads seven mountains are where the woman sits on them.
“Hapa ndipo penye wito wa akili pamoja na hekima. Vile vichwa saba ni vilima saba ambavyo huyo mwanamke amevikalia.
10 And kings seven there are: The five are fallen, (and *k*) the one is, the other not yet has come; and when he may have come, a little while him it behooves to remain.
Pia hivyo vichwa saba ni wafalme saba ambao miongoni mwao watano wamekwisha kuanguka, yupo mwingine hajaja bado, lakini atakapokuja, atalazimika kukaa kwa muda mfupi.
11 And the beast which was and not is, also (himself *NK(o)*) an eighth is and of the seven is and into destruction goes.
Yule mnyama aliyekuwepo wakati fulani na ambaye sasa hayupo, yeye ni mfalme wa nane. Ni miongoni mwa wale saba, naye anakwenda kwenye maangamizi yake.
12 And the ten horns which you saw, ten kings are, who a kingdom not yet have received but authority as kings one hour receive along with the beast.
“Zile pembe kumi ulizoziona ni wafalme kumi ambao bado hawajapokea ufalme, lakini watapokea mamlaka kuwa wafalme kwa saa moja pamoja na yule mnyama.
13 These one mind have and the power and (the *k*) authority (of them *N(k)O*) to the beast (they give up. *N(k)O*)
Hawa wana nia moja, nao watamwachia yule mnyama nguvu zao na mamlaka yao.
14 These with the Lamb war will make, and the Lamb will overcome them, because Lord of lords He is and King of kings, and those with Him [are] called and chosen and faithful.
Watafanya vita na Mwana-Kondoo, lakini Mwana-Kondoo atawashinda kwa sababu yeye ni Bwana wa mabwana na Mfalme wa wafalme. Yeye atakuwa pamoja na watu wake walioitwa ambao ni wateule wake na wafuasi wake waaminifu.”
15 And he says to me; The waters that you saw, where the prostitute sits, peoples and multitudes are and nations and tongues.
Kisha yule malaika akaniambia, “Yale maji uliyoyaona yule kahaba akiwa ameketi juu yake ni jamaa, makutano, mataifa na lugha.
16 And the ten horns that you saw (and *N(K)O*) the beast, these will hate the prostitute and desolated they will make her and naked (they will make her *o*) and the flesh of her they will eat and her they will burn with fire.
Zile pembe kumi ulizoziona, pamoja na huyo mnyama, watamchukia huyo kahaba, watamfilisi na kumwacha uchi, watamla nyama yake na kumteketeza kwa moto.
17 For God has put into the hearts of them to do the purpose of Him and to do one purpose and to give the kingdom of them to the beast until (they will be completed *N(k)(o)*) (the words *N(k)O*) of God.
Kwa maana Mungu ameweka mioyoni mwao kutimiza kusudi lake kwa kukubali kumpa yule mnyama mamlaka yao ya utawala mpaka maneno ya Mungu yatakapotimia.
18 And the woman whom you saw is the city great which is having kingship over the kings of the earth.
Yule mwanamke uliyemwona ni ule mji mkubwa unaotawala juu ya wafalme wa dunia.”
