Psalms 1

1 How blessed! [is] the person who - not he walks in [the] counsel of wicked [people] and in [the] way of sinners not he stands and in [the] seat of mockers not he sits.

Abençoado é o homem que não anda no conselho dos ímpios, nem se colocar no caminho dos pecadores, nem sentar no banco dos escarnecedores;

2 That except [is] in [the] law of Yahweh delight his and in law his he meditates by day and night.

mas seu encanto está na lei de Yahweh. Sobre sua lei, ele medita dia e noite.

3 And he is like a tree planted at streams of water which fruit its - it gives at appropriate time its and leafage its not it withers and all that he does it succeeds.

Ele será como uma árvore plantada junto aos riachos de água, que produz seus frutos em sua estação, cuja folha também não murcha. O que quer que ele faça, prosperará.

4 Not [are] so the wicked [people] that except [they are] like the chaff which it drives about it wind.

Os ímpios não são assim, mas são como o palhiço que o vento afasta.

5 There-fore - not they will stand wicked [people] in the judgment and sinners in [the] congregation of righteous [people].

Portanto, os ímpios não devem permanecer no julgamento, nem os pecadores na congregação dos justos.

6 For [is] knowing Yahweh [the] way of righteous [people] and [the] way of wicked [people] it will perish.

Pois Yahweh conhece o caminho dos justos, mas o caminho dos ímpios perecerá.
