Psalms 98

1 A psalm sing to Yahweh - a song new for wonders he has done it has given victory to him right [hand] his and [the] arm of holiness his.

Ein Psalm. Singt Jahwe ein neues Lied, denn er hat Wunder gethan: es half ihm seine Rechte und sein heiliger Arm.

2 He has made known Yahweh salvation his to [the] eyes of the nations he has revealed righteousness his.

Jahwe hat sein Heil kund gethan; vor den Augen der Völker offenbarte er seine Gerechtigkeit.

3 He has remembered covenant loyalty his - and faithfulness his to [the] house of Israel they have seen all [the] ends of [the] earth [the] salvation of God our.

Er gedachte seiner Gnade und Treue gegen das Haus Israel; alle Enden der Erde sahen das Heil unseres Gottes.

4 Shout for joy to Yahweh O all the earth break forth and sing for joy and make music.

Jauchzt Jahwe, alle Lande; brecht in Jubel aus und lobsingt!

5 Make music to Yahweh with a harp with a harp and [the] sound of music.

Lobsingt Jahwe mit der Zither, mit der Zither und lautem Gesang.

6 With trumpets and [the] sound of a ram's horn shout for joy before - the king Yahweh.

Mit Trompeten und Posaunenschall jauchzt vor dem König Jahwe!

7 Let it thunder the sea and what fills it [the] world and [those who] dwell in it.

Es brause das Meer und was es füllt, der Erdkreis und die darauf wohnen.

8 Rivers let them clap a palm together mountains let them sing for joy.

Die Ströme sollen in die Hände klatschen, die Berge insgesamt jubeln

9 Before Yahweh for [he is] coming to judge the earth he will judge [the] world with righteousness and peoples with uprightness.

vor Jahwe, denn er kommt, die Erde zu richten. Er wird den Erdkreis mit Gerechtigkeit richten und die Völker, wie es recht ist.
