Psalms 94
1 O God of vengeance O Yahweh O God of vengeance shine forth.
Du Gott der Rache, o HERR, du Gott der Rache, erscheine!
2 Raise yourself up O judge of the earth repay recompense to proud [people].
Erhebe dich, Richter der Erde, vergilt den Stolzen nach ihrem Tun!
3 Until when? wicked [people] - O Yahweh until when? wicked [people] will they exult.
Wie lange noch sollen die Gottlosen, HERR, wie lange noch sollen die Gottlosen jubeln,
4 They pour forth they speak arrogance they boast all [those who] do wickedness.
sollen sie geifern und trotzige Reden führen, alle Übeltäter stolz sich brüsten?
5 People your O Yahweh they crush and inheritance your they afflict.
Dein Volk, o HERR, zertreten sie und bedrücken dein Erbe;
6 [the] widow And [the] sojourner they kill and fatherless ones they murder.
sie erwürgen Witwe und Fremdling und morden die Waisen
7 And they said not he will see Yahweh and not he will perceive [the] God of Jacob.
und sagen dabei: »Nicht sieht es der HERR« oder: »Nicht merkt es der Gott Jakobs.«
8 Understand O stupid [ones] among the people and O fools when? will you have insight.
Nehmt Verstand an, ihr Unvernünftigen im Volk, und ihr Toren: wann wollt ihr Einsicht gewinnen?
9 ¿ [the] planter of [the] ear ¿ Not does he hear or? [the] former of [the] eye ¿ not does he see.
Der das Ohr gepflanzt, der sollte nicht hören? Der das Auge gebildet, der sollte nicht sehn?
10 ¿ [the] discipliner of Nations ¿ not does he rebuke the [one who] teaches humankind knowledge.
Der die Völker erzieht, der sollte nicht strafen, er, der die Menschen Erkenntnis lehrt?
11 Yahweh [is] knowing [the] thoughts of a person that they [are] a breath.
Der HERR kennt wohl die Gedanken der Menschen, daß nur ein Hauch sie sind.
12 How blessed! - [is] the man whom you discipline him O Yahweh and from law your you teach him.
Wohl dem Manne, den du, HERR, in Zucht nimmst, und den du aus deinem Gesetz belehrst,
13 To give quiet to him from days of trouble until it will be dug for the wicked a pit.
damit er sich Ruhe verschaffe vor Unglückstagen, bis dem Frevler die Grube man gräbt!
14 For - not he will abandon Yahweh people his and inheritance his not he will forsake.
Denn der HERR wird sein Volk nicht verstoßen und sein Erbe nicht verlassen;
15 For to righteousness it will return judgment and [will be] after it all [people] upright of heart.
denn Recht muß doch Recht bleiben, und ihm werden alle redlich Gesinnten sich anschließen.
16 Who? will he rise up for me with evil-doers who? will he take his stand for me with [those who] do wickedness.
Wer leistet mir Beistand gegen die Bösen? Wer tritt für mich ein gegen die Übeltäter?
17 If not Yahweh [had been] a help of me like a little - it dwelt silence self my.
Wäre der HERR nicht mein Helfer gewesen, so wohnte meine Seele wohl schon im stillen Land.
18 If I said it has slipped foot my covenant loyalty your O Yahweh it supported me.
Sooft ich dachte: »Mein Fuß will wanken«, hat deine Gnade, HERR, mich immer gestützt;
19 In [the] multitude of disquieting thoughts my in inner being my consolations your they delighted self my.
bei der Menge meiner Sorgen in meiner Brust haben deine Tröstungen mir das Herz erquickt.
20 ¿ Will it be joined to you a throne of destruction [which] fashions mischief on a decree.
Sollte verbündet dir sein der Richterstuhl des Unheils, der Verderben schafft durch Gesetzesverdrehung?
21 They band together on [the] life of [the] righteous and blood innocent they condemn as guilty.
Sie tun sich ja zusammen gegen das Leben des Gerechten und verurteilen unschuldig Blut.
22 And he has become Yahweh of me a refuge and God my [the] rock of shelter my.
Doch der HERR ist mir zur festen Burg geworden, mein Gott zu meinem Zufluchtsfelsen;
23 And he brought back on them - wickedness their and in evil their he will destroy them he will destroy them Yahweh God our.
er läßt ihren Frevel auf sie selber fallen und wird sie ob ihrer Bosheit vertilgen: ja vertilgen wird sie der HERR, unser Gott.
