< Psalms 91 >
1 [one who] dwells In [the] shelter of [the] Most High in [the] shadow of [the] Almighty he will lodge.
He who is dwelling In the secret place of the Most High, Habitually lodges in the shade of the Mighty,
2 I will say of Yahweh refuge my and stronghold my God my [whom] I trust in him.
He is saying of YHWH, “My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,”
3 For he he will deliver you from [the] snare of a fowler from a plague of destruction.
For He delivers you from the snare of a fowler, From a calamitous pestilence.
4 With pinion his - he will cover you and under wings his you will take refuge [is] a shield and a wall faithfulness his.
He covers you over with His pinion, And under His wings you trust, His truth [is] a shield and buckler.
5 Not you will be afraid from [the] dread of night from an arrow [which] it will fly by day.
You are not afraid of fear by night, Of arrow that flies by day,
6 From a plague [which] in the darkness it will walk from destruction [which] it will devastate noon.
Of pestilence that walks in thick darkness, Of destruction that destroys at noon,
7 It will fall from side your - a thousand and ten thousand from right [hand] your to you not it will draw near.
One thousand fall at your side, And a myriad at your right hand, [But] it does not come near to you.
8 Only with own eyes your you will look and [the] retribution of wicked [people] you will see.
But with your eyes you look, And you see the reward of the wicked,
9 For you Yahweh refuge my [the] Most High you have made dwelling place your.
(For You, O YHWH, [are] my refuge), You made the Most High your habitation.
10 Not it will happen to you harm and plague not it will draw near in tent your.
Evil does not happen to you, And a plague does not come near your tent,
11 For angels his he will command to you to guard you in all ways your.
For He charges His messengers for you, To keep you in all your ways,
12 On hands they will lift up you lest you should strike on stone foot your.
On the hands they bear you up, Lest you strike your foot against a stone.
13 On a lion and a cobra you will tread you will trample a young lion and a serpent.
You tread on lion and cobra, You trample young lion and dragon.
14 For me he loves and I will deliver him I will set on high him for he knows name my.
Because he has delighted in Me, I also deliver him—I set him on high, Because he has known My Name.
15 He will call out to me - and I will answer him [will be] with him I in trouble I will rescue him and I will honor him.
He calls Me, and I answer him, I [am] with him in distress, I deliver him, and honor him.
16 Length of days I will satisfy him and I will let look him on salvation my.
I satisfy him with [the] length of [his] days, And I cause him to look on My salvation!
