< Psalms 91 >
1 [one who] dwells In [the] shelter of [the] Most High in [the] shadow of [the] Almighty he will lodge.
Praise of a Song, by David. He that dwells in the help of the Highest, shall sojourn under the shelter of the God of heaven.
2 I will say of Yahweh refuge my and stronghold my God my [whom] I trust in him.
He shall say to the Lord, Thou art my helper and my refuge: my God; I will hope in him.
3 For he he will deliver you from [the] snare of a fowler from a plague of destruction.
For he shall deliver thee from the snare of the hunters, from [every] troublesome matter.
4 With pinion his - he will cover you and under wings his you will take refuge [is] a shield and a wall faithfulness his.
He shall overshadow thee with his shoulders, and thou shalt trust under his wings: his truth shall cover thee with a shield.
5 Not you will be afraid from [the] dread of night from an arrow [which] it will fly by day.
Thou shalt not be afraid of terror by night; nor of the arrow flying by day;
6 From a plague [which] in the darkness it will walk from destruction [which] it will devastate noon.
[nor] of the [evil] thing that walks in darkness; [nor] of calamity, and the evil spirit at noon-day.
7 It will fall from side your - a thousand and ten thousand from right [hand] your to you not it will draw near.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with own eyes your you will look and [the] retribution of wicked [people] you will see.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou observe and see the reward of sinners.
9 For you Yahweh refuge my [the] Most High you have made dwelling place your.
For thou, O Lord, art my hope: thou, my soul, hast made the Most High thy refuge.
10 Not it will happen to you harm and plague not it will draw near in tent your.
No evils shall come upon thee, and no scourge shall draw nigh to thy dwelling.
11 For angels his he will command to you to guard you in all ways your.
For he shall give his angels charge concerning thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 On hands they will lift up you lest you should strike on stone foot your.
They shall bear thee up on their hands, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 On a lion and a cobra you will tread you will trample a young lion and a serpent.
Thou shalt tread on the asp and basilisk: and thou shalt trample on the lion and dragon.
14 For me he loves and I will deliver him I will set on high him for he knows name my.
For he has hoped in me, and I will deliver him: I will protect him, because he has known my name.
15 He will call out to me - and I will answer him [will be] with him I in trouble I will rescue him and I will honor him.
He shall call upon me, and I will hearken to him: I am with him in affliction; and I will deliver him, and glorify him.
16 Length of days I will satisfy him and I will let look him on salvation my.
I will satisfy him with length of days, and shew him my salvation.
