Psalms 9
1 To the choirmaster alumoth labben a psalm of David. I will give thanks to Yahweh with all heart my I will recount all wonders your.
| لِقَائِدِ الْمُنْشِدِينَ عَلَى الْمِزْمَارِ مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ أَحْمَدُ الرَّبَّ بِكُلِّ قَلْبِي. أُحَدِّثُ بِجَمِيعِ مُعْجِزَاتِكَ. | ١ |
2 I will rejoice and I will exult in you I will sing praises to name your O Most High.
| أَفْرَحُ بِكَ وَأَبْتَهِجُ. أُرَنِّمُ لاِسْمِكَ أَيُّهَا العَلِيُّ. | ٢ |
3 When turn enemies my backwards they stumble and they may perish from before you.
| عِنْدَمَا يَتَقَهْقَرُ أَعْدَائِي إِلَى الْوَرَاءِ، يَتَعَثَّرُونَ وَيَهْلِكُونَ أَمَامَ وَجْهِكَ، | ٣ |
4 For you have done justice my and cause my you have sat to a throne judging righteousness.
| لأَنَّكَ بَرَّأْتَنِي وَدَافَعْتَ عَنْ قَضِيَّتِي، إِذْ جَلَسْتَ عَلَى عَرْشِكَ لِتَقْضِيَ بِالْعَدْلِ. | ٤ |
5 You have rebuked nations you have destroyed [the] wicked name their you have wiped out for ever and ever.
| زَجَرْتَ الشُّعُوبَ وَأَهْلَكْتَ الشِّرِّيرَ، مَحَوْتَ اسْمَهُمْ إِلَى أَبَدِ الدُّهُورِ. | ٥ |
6 The enemy - they have come to an end ruins to perpetuity and cities you have plucked up it has perished memory their they.
| أَفْنَيْتَ الْعَدُوَّ إِفْنَاءً. دَمَّرْتَ مُدُنَهُمْ حَتَّى بَادَ ذِكْرُهُمْ. | ٦ |
7 And Yahweh for ever he remains he has established for judgment throne his.
| أَمَّا الرَّبُّ فَإِلَى الأَبَدِ يَمْلِكُ. ثَبَّتَ عَرْشَهُ لِلْقَضَاءِ. | ٧ |
8 And he he will judge [the] world with righteousness he will judge [the] nations with uprightness.
| يَدِينُ الْعَالَمَ بِالْعَدْلِ وَيَقْضِي بَيْنَ الشُّعُوبِ بِالإِنْصَافِ. | ٨ |
9 And he may be Yahweh a refuge for the oppressed a refuge to times of trouble.
| وَيَكُونُ الرَّبُّ مَلْجَأً لِلْمَظْلُومِ، حِصْناً فِي أَزْمِنَةِ الضِّيقِ. | ٩ |
10 So they may trust in you [those who] know name your for not you have forsaken [those who] seek you O Yahweh.
| وَيَتَّكِلُ عَلَيْكَ الَّذِينَ يَعْرِفُونَ اسْمَكَ، لأَنَّكَ يَا رَبُّ لَمْ تَخْذِلْ طَالِبِيكَ. | ١٠ |
11 Sing praises to Yahweh [who] dwells Zion declare among the peoples deeds his.
| أَشِيدُوا بِالْحَمْدِ لِلرَّبِّ الْمُتَوَّجِ فِي صِهْيَوْنَ، أَذِيعُوا بَيْنَ الشُّعُوبِ أَعْمَالَهُ الْعَظِيمَةَ. | ١١ |
12 For [one who] seeks blood them he has remembered not he has forgotten [the] cry of distress of (humble [people]. *Q(K)*)
| فَهُوَ الَّذِي يَثْأَرُ لِلدِّمَاءِ. لَا يَنْسَى وَلَا يَتَجَاهَلُ صُرَاخَ الْمُتَضَايِقِينَ. | ١٢ |
13 Show favor to me O Yahweh see affliction my from [those who] hate me O [one who] raises me from [the] gates of death.
| ارْحَمْنِي يَا رَبُّ. انْظُرْ مَذَلَّتِي الَّتِي يَسُومُنِي إِيَّاهَا مُبْغِضِيَّ، يَا مُنْقِذِي مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْمَوْتِ، | ١٣ |
14 So that I may recount all praises your in [the] gates of [the] daughter of Zion I will rejoice in deliverance your.
| لِكَيْ أُحَدِّثَ بِجَمِيعِ تَسَابِيحِكَ فِي أَبْوَابِ سَاكِنِي صِهْيَوْنَ، مُبْتَهِجاً بِخَلاصِكَ. | ١٤ |
15 They have sunk nations in [the] pit [which] they made in [the] net which they had hidden it has been caught foot their.
| لَقَدْ هَوَتِ الشُّعُوبُ فِي أَعْمَاقِ الحُفْرَةِ الَّتِي حَفَرُوهَا، وَأَطْبَقَ الْفَخُّ الَّذِي نَصَبُوهُ عَلَى أَرْجُلِهِمْ. | ١٥ |
16 He has made himself known - Yahweh justice he has done by [the] work of hands his [he is] striking down [the] wicked Higgaion (Selah)
| الرَّبُّ مَعْرُوفٌ بِعَدْلِهِ، قَضَى أَنْ يَقَعَ الشِّرِّيرُ فِي شَرَكِ أَعْمَالِهِ. | ١٦ |
| مَآلُ الأَشْرَارِ إِلَى الْجَحِيمِ. وَكَذَلِكَ جَمِيعُ الأُمَمِ النَّاسِينَ اللهَ. (Sheol h7585) | ١٧ |
18 For not to perpetuity he will be forgotten [the] needy [the] hope of (afflicted [people] *Q(K)*) it will be lost for ever.
| أَمَّا الْمُحْتَاجُ الْمُتَضَايِقُ فَلَنْ يُنْسَى إِلَى الأَبَدِ. وَرَجَاءُ الْمَسَاكِينِ لَنْ يَخِيبَ إِلَى الدَّهْرِ. | ١٨ |
19 Arise! O Yahweh may not it prevail humankind let them be judged [the] nations on presence your.
| قُمْ يَا رَبُّ. لَا تَدَعِ الإِنْسَانَ يَسُودُ، وَلْتُحَاكَمِ الأُمَمُ أَمَامَ حَضْرَتِكَ. | ١٩ |
20 Appoint! O Yahweh - terror for them may they know [the] nations [are] human being[s] they (Selah)
| أَلْقِ فِي قُلُوبِهِمِ الرُّعْبَ فَتَعْلَمَ الأُمَمُ أَنَّهُمْ لَيْسُوا سِوَى بَشَرٍ. | ٢٠ |
