Psalms 89
1 A poem of Ethan the Ezrachite. [the] covenant loyalti of Yahweh forever I will sing to a generation and a generation - I will make known faithfulness your with mouth my.
Chante Etan, moun peyi Ezra. Seyè, mwen p'ap janm sispann chante pou fè konnen jan ou renmen nou. Se tout tan m'a fè konnen jan ou se moun ki kenbe pawòl ou.
2 For I have said forever covenant loyalty it will be built [the] heavens - you establish faithfulness your in them.
Ou di konsa: -Pa gen anyen ki pou fè ou sispann renmen nou. Menm jan syèl la ap toujou la, se konsa tou w'ap toujou kenbe pawòl ou.
3 I have made a covenant to chosen one my I have sworn an oath to David servant my.
Ou di konsa: -Mwen pase yon kontra avèk moun mwen te chwazi a. Men sa mwen te pwomèt David, sèvitè mwen an:
4 Until perpetuity I will establish offspring your and I will build to a generation and a generation throne your (Selah)
W'ap toujou gen yon wa nan pitit pitit ou yo. M'ap fè gouvènman ou lan kanpe fèm pou tout tan.
5 So they may praise [the] heavens wonder[s] your O Yahweh also faithfulness your in [the] assembly of [the] holy [ones].
Seyè, moun ki nan syèl yo ap chante pou bèl mèvèy ou fè yo. Y'ap chante nan mitan moun k'ap viv pou ou yo, pou fè konnen jan ou toujou kenbe pawòl ou.
6 For who? in the cloud[s] is he comparable to Yahweh is he like? Yahweh among [the] sons of gods.
Seyè, pa gen tankou ou nan syèl la! Pa gen bondye ki ka wè avè ou!
7 God [is] awesome in [the] council of [the] holy [ones] much and to be feared above all [those] around him.
Tout moun k'ap sèvi ou yo respekte ou. Tout moun ki bò kote ou yo pè ou.
8 O Yahweh - God of hosts who? like you [is] mighty - O Yahweh and faithfulness your [is] around you.
Seyè, Bondye ki gen tout pouvwa a, pa gen moun ki gen pouvwa pase ou! Ou kenbe pawòl ou nan tout sikonstans, Seyè!
9 You [are] ruling over [the] swelling of the sea when rise up waves its you you calm them.
Ou dominen sou gwo lanmè yo. Lè yo move, ou fè yo ret dousman.
10 You you crushed like [one] slain Rahab with [the] arm of strength your you scattered enemies your.
Ou kraze moun peyi Lejip yo, ou fè yo tounen kadav. Avèk fòs ponyèt ou, ou gaye lènmi ou yo.
11 [belongs] to You heaven also [belongs] to you [the] earth [the] world and what fills it you you founded them.
Syèl la se pou ou ansanm ak latè a. Se ou ki kreye lemonn antye ak tou sa ki ladan l'.
12 [the] north And [the] south you you created them Tabor and Hermon at name your they shout for joy.
Se ou ki kreye nò ak sid. Mòn Tabò ak mòn Emon ap chante pou ou sitèlman yo kontan.
13 [belongs] to You an arm with strength it is strong hand your it is exalted right [hand] your.
Ou pa manke fòs nan ponyèt ou! Ou p'ap bese tèt devan pesonn.
14 [is] righteousness And justice [the] foundation of throne your covenant loyalty and faithfulness they come to meet face your.
W'ap gouvènen tout bagay avèk jistis san patipri. Nan tout sa w'ap fè ou pa janm bliye jan ou renmen nou. W'ap toujou kenbe pwomès ou te fè nou yo.
15 How blessed! [is] the people [which] know a shout of joy O Yahweh in [the] light of presence your they walk!
Ala bon sa bon lè yon pèp gen kè kontan, lè l'ap viv yon jan ki fè ou plezi!
16 In name your they rejoice! all the day and in righteousness your they are exalted.
Tout lajounen y'ap fè fèt pou ou. Y'ap fè lwanj ou paske ou gen bon kè.
17 For [are] [the] splendor of strength their you and in favor your (it is exalted *Q(K)*) horn our.
Se ou menm ki fè nou pa pè pesonn. Se paske ou renmen nou kifè nou genyen batay yo.
18 For [belongs] to Yahweh shield our and [belongs] to [the] holy [one] of Israel king our.
Paske, Seyè a se pwoteksyon nou, se ou menm, Bondye Izrayèl la, ki wa nou.
19 Then you spoke in a vision to faithful [people] your and you said I have placed help on a warrior I have raised up a chosen [one] from [the] people.

20 I have found David servant my with [the] oil of holiness my I have anointed him.
Mwen te jwenn David, sèvitè mwen an, mwen te mete l' apa pou l' vin wa sou nou.
21 Whom hand my it will be steadfast with him also arm my it will strengthen him.
M'ap toujou soutni l' avèk fòs mwen. M'a fòtifye l' avèk pouvwa mwen.
22 Not he will deceive an enemy him and a son of injustice not he will afflict him.
Lènmi l' yo p'ap ka mete men sou li, mechan yo p'ap ka mete pye sou kou li.
23 And I will crush from before him opponents his and [those who] hate him I will strike down.
M'ap kraze tout moun ki pa vle wè l' yo, m'ap touye moun ki rayi l' yo.
24 And faithfulness my and covenant loyalty my [will be] with him and in name my it will be exalted horn his.
M'ap toujou renmen l', m'ap toujou kenbe pawòl mwen ak li, mwen p'ap janm kite l' pèdi okenn batay.
25 And I will set on the sea hand his and on the rivers right [hand] his.
M'ap fè l' gouvènen depi lanmè Mediterane jouk larivyè Lefrat.
26 He he will call out to me [are] father my you God my and [the] rock of salvation my.
L'a rele m', l'a di m': Se ou ki papa m', se ou menm ki Bondye m'. Se ou ki pwoteksyon m', se ou menm ki delivrans mwen.
27 Also I firstborn I will make him most high to [the] kings of [the] earth.
Mwen menm, m'ap fè l' pase pou premye pitit gason mwen. Se li k'ap pi gran nan tout wa sou latè.
28 For ever (I will keep *Q(k)*) to him covenant loyalty my and covenant my [will be] reliable to him.
M'a toujou fè l' wè jan m' renmen l', m'ap toujou kenbe kontra mwen te fè ak li a.
29 And I will establish for ever offspring his and throne his like [the] days of [the] heavens.
M'ap toujou chwazi yonn nan pitit pitit li yo pou wa. Gouvènman li a ap rete tout tan tout tan.
30 If they will forsake sons his law my and in judgments my not they will walk!
Men, si pitit pitit li yo pa obeyi lalwa mwen ba yo, si yo pa mache dapre lòd mwen ba yo,
31 If statutes my they will violate and commandments my not they will keep.
si yo pa swiv prensip mwen ba yo, si yo pa fè tout sa mwen mande yo fè,
32 And I will punish with a rod transgression their and with plagues iniquity their.
m'ap pini yo pou peche yo fè, m'ap bat yo. M'ap ba yo kout fwèt pou tout sa yo fè ki mal.
33 And covenant loyalty my not I will break off from with him and not I will deal falsely with faithfulness my.
Men, se pa sa k'ap fè m' sispann renmen David, ni k'ap fè m' pa kenbe pwomès mwen te fè l' la.
34 Not I will violate covenant my and [the] utterance of lips my not I will change.
Non. Mwen p'ap kase kontra mwen pase ak li a, ni mwen p'ap janm manke l' pawòl.
35 One [time] I have sworn an oath by holiness my if to David I will lie.
Depi mwen fè sèman sou non mwen yon sèl fwa, se fini: Mwen p'ap bay David manti.
36 Offspring his for ever it will be and throne his like the sun before me.
Pitit pitit li yo va toujou wa. Y'a gouvènen devan mwen toutotan solèy la va la.
37 Like [the] moon it will be established forever and a witness in the cloud[s] [will be] reliable (Selah)
Gouvènman li an ap la pou tout tan, tankou lalin ki toujou klere nan syèl la.
38 And you you have spurned and you have rejected you have been furious with anointed your.
Men, malgre sa, ou fache sou wa ou te chwazi a, ou vire do ba li, ou voye l' jete.
39 You have repudiated [the] covenant of servant your you have profaned to the ground crown his.
Ou pa menm okipe kontra ou te fè avèk sèvitè ou la. Ou pran kouwòn ki te sou tèt li a, ou voye l' jete nan labou.
40 You have broken through all walls his you have made strongholds his a ruin.
Ou kraze tout miray li yo, ou lage yo atè. Ou kite tout fò li yo fin kraze nèt.
41 They have plundered him all [those who] pass by of [the] road he has become a reproach to neighbors his.
Tout moun k'ap pase nan lari ap piye kay li, tout vwazinaj li yo ap pase l' nan rizib.
42 You have exalted [the] right [hand] of opponents his you have made to rejoice all enemies his.
Ou kite lènmi l' yo kraze l' anba pye yo. Ou fè yo tout kontan.
43 Also you turn back [the] flint of sword his and not you have raised up him in battle.
Ou kase dan tout zam li yo, ou kite yo kraze l' nan lagè.
44 You have made cease from luster his and throne his to the ground you have thrown.
Ou te wete baton kòmandman an nan men l', ou pran fotèy li a, ou jete l' atè.
45 You have made short [the] days of youth his you have wrapped on him shame (Selah)
Ou fè l' vin vye anvan lè li, ou fè l' wont nèt.
46 Until when? O Yahweh will you hide yourself? to perpetuity will it burn? like a fire anger your.
Seyè, jouk kilè w'ap rete kache pou nou pa wè ou? Gen lè se pou tout tan! W'ap kite kòlè ou boule nou tankou dife?
47 Remember I what? [is] lifespan concerning what? emptiness have you created all [the] children of humankind.
Seyè, chonje moun pa anyen, lavi yo kout. Chonje se ou ki kreye tout moun pou yo tounen pousyè.
48 Who? [is the] man [who] he will live and not he will see death [who] he will deliver life his from [the] hand of Sheol (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
Eske gen moun ki ka viv san l' pa janm mouri? Kisa yon moun ka fè pou l' pa janm al anba tè? (Sheol h7585)
49 Where? - [are] covenant loyalti your former - O Lord [which] you swore an oath to David in faithfulness your.
Seyè, kote sa ou te fè nan tan lontan pou fè nou wè jan ou renmen nou an? Kote tout bèl pwomès ou te fè David yo?
50 Remember O Lord [the] reproach of servants your bearing my in bosom my all many peoples.
Seyè, pa bliye jan y'ap pase sèvitè ou yo nan betiz! Pa bliye jan moun lòt nasyon yo ap joure mwen!
51 Which they have reproached enemies your - O Yahweh which they have reproached [the] footprints of anointed your.
Seyè, pa bliye jan lènmi ou yo ap joure, jan y'ap joure wa ou te chwazi a kote l' pase.
52 [be] blessed Yahweh for ever amen - and amen.
Ann toujou fè lwanj Seyè a! Wi, se vre! Amèn!
