Psalms 89
1 A poem of Ethan the Ezrachite. [the] covenant loyalti of Yahweh forever I will sing to a generation and a generation - I will make known faithfulness your with mouth my.
Un psaume de méditation d'Étham, l'Israélite. Je chanterai éternellement tes miséricordes, ô Seigneur; de génération en génération ma bouche annoncera ta vérité.
2 For I have said forever covenant loyalty it will be built [the] heavens - you establish faithfulness your in them.
Car tu as dit: La miséricorde sera édifiée pour tous les siècles; ta vérité sera établie dans les cieux.
3 I have made a covenant to chosen one my I have sworn an oath to David servant my.
J'ai fait alliance avec mes élus; j'ai juré à David mon serviteur:
4 Until perpetuity I will establish offspring your and I will build to a generation and a generation throne your (Selah)
Durant tous les siècles, j'établirai ta race, et j'édifierai ton trône pour les générations des générations.
5 So they may praise [the] heavens wonder[s] your O Yahweh also faithfulness your in [the] assembly of [the] holy [ones].
Les cieux témoignent de tes merveilles, Seigneur, et de ta vérité dans l'assemblée des saints.
6 For who? in the cloud[s] is he comparable to Yahweh is he like? Yahweh among [the] sons of gods.
Qui, dans les nuées, sera l'égal du Seigneur? Qui sera semblable au Seigneur parmi les fils de Dieu?
7 God [is] awesome in [the] council of [the] holy [ones] much and to be feared above all [those] around him.
Dieu est glorifié dans le conseil des saints; il est grand et redoutable pour tous ceux qui l'entourent.
8 O Yahweh - God of hosts who? like you [is] mighty - O Yahweh and faithfulness your [is] around you.
Seigneur, Dieu des années, qui te ressemble? tu es puissant, Seigneur, et ta vérité t'entoure.
9 You [are] ruling over [the] swelling of the sea when rise up waves its you you calm them.
Tu domines la puissance de la mer, et tu apaises la fureur de ses flots.
10 You you crushed like [one] slain Rahab with [the] arm of strength your you scattered enemies your.
Tu as humilié le superbe, comme un homme blessé, et par le bras de ta force tu as dispersé tes ennemis.
11 [belongs] to You heaven also [belongs] to you [the] earth [the] world and what fills it you you founded them.
A toi sont les cieux, à toi la terre; tu as fondé l'univers et les êtres qu'il contient.
12 [the] north And [the] south you you created them Tabor and Hermon at name your they shout for joy.
Tu as créé l'aquilon et la mer; Hermon et Thabor, à ton nom, tressailliront d'allégresse.
13 [belongs] to You an arm with strength it is strong hand your it is exalted right [hand] your.
Ton bras est inséparable de la puissance; que ta main s'affermisse; que ta droite soit exaltée.
14 [is] righteousness And justice [the] foundation of throne your covenant loyalty and faithfulness they come to meet face your.
La justice et le jugement sont les bases de ton trône; la miséricorde et la vérité marcheront devant ta face.
15 How blessed! [is] the people [which] know a shout of joy O Yahweh in [the] light of presence your they walk!
Heureux le peuple qui connaît les cris de joie; Seigneur, il cheminera en la lumière de ton visage.
16 In name your they rejoice! all the day and in righteousness your they are exalted.
Et tout le jour il tressaillira d'allégresse à ton nom; et il sera exalté dans ta justice.
17 For [are] [the] splendor of strength their you and in favor your (it is exalted *Q(K)*) horn our.
Car tu es la gloire de leur force; et, en ton bon plaisir, notre front sera exalté.
18 For [belongs] to Yahweh shield our and [belongs] to [the] holy [one] of Israel king our.
Notre aide vient du Seigneur, du Saint d'Israël, notre Roi.
19 Then you spoke in a vision to faithful [people] your and you said I have placed help on a warrior I have raised up a chosen [one] from [the] people.
Autrefois tu as parlé à tes fils en une vision; et tu as dit: J'ai mis mon aide sur le puissant; j'ai exalté l'élu de mon peuple.
20 I have found David servant my with [the] oil of holiness my I have anointed him.
J'ai trouvé David, mon serviteur; je l'ai oint en ma sainte miséricorde.
21 Whom hand my it will be steadfast with him also arm my it will strengthen him.
Car ma main le secourra, et mon bras le fortifiera.
22 Not he will deceive an enemy him and a son of injustice not he will afflict him.
Nul ennemi ne réussira contre lui, et le fils de l'iniquité ne se présentera point pour l'affliger.
23 And I will crush from before him opponents his and [those who] hate him I will strike down.
Et je frapperai ses ennemis devant sa face, et je mettrai en fuite ceux qui le haïssent.
24 And faithfulness my and covenant loyalty my [will be] with him and in name my it will be exalted horn his.
Et ma vérité et ma miséricorde sont avec lui; et en mon nom, sa puissance sera exaltée.
25 And I will set on the sea hand his and on the rivers right [hand] his.
Et je poserai sa main gauche sur la mer, et sa droite sur les fleuves.
26 He he will call out to me [are] father my you God my and [the] rock of salvation my.
Il m'invoquera, disant: tu es mon père, ô mon Dieu, et le défenseur de mon salut.
27 Also I firstborn I will make him most high to [the] kings of [the] earth.
Et moi je le tiendrai pour mon premier-né; je l'élèverai au-dessus des rois de la terre.
28 For ever (I will keep *Q(k)*) to him covenant loyalty my and covenant my [will be] reliable to him.
Dans tous les siècles, je lui garderai ma miséricorde, et mon alliance lui sera fidèle.
29 And I will establish for ever offspring his and throne his like [the] days of [the] heavens.
Et j'affermirai sa race dans les siècles des siècles, et son trône comme les jours du ciel.
30 If they will forsake sons his law my and in judgments my not they will walk!
Si ses fils abandonnent ma loi, s'ils ne marchent point selon mes commandements,
31 If statutes my they will violate and commandments my not they will keep.
S'ils profanent mes préceptes, s'ils ne gardent pas mes ordonnances,
32 And I will punish with a rod transgression their and with plagues iniquity their.
Je visiterai leurs iniquités avec ma verge, et leurs péchés avec mon fouet.
33 And covenant loyalty my not I will break off from with him and not I will deal falsely with faithfulness my.
Mais je n'éloignerai pas entièrement de lui ma miséricorde, et je ne ferai point tort à ma vérité.
34 Not I will violate covenant my and [the] utterance of lips my not I will change.
Je ne violerai point mon alliance, et ce qui est sorti de mes lèvres, je ne le révoquerai pas.
35 One [time] I have sworn an oath by holiness my if to David I will lie.
J'ai juré une fois par ma sainteté que je ne mentirais pas à David.
36 Offspring his for ever it will be and throne his like the sun before me.
Sa postérité durera dans tous les siècles.
37 Like [the] moon it will be established forever and a witness in the cloud[s] [will be] reliable (Selah)

38 And you you have spurned and you have rejected you have been furious with anointed your.
Cependant, Seigneur, tu as repoussé et méprisé, tu as rejeté ton Christ.
39 You have repudiated [the] covenant of servant your you have profaned to the ground crown his.
Tu as aboli l'alliance faite avec ton serviteur; tu as profané sa sainteté sur la terre.
40 You have broken through all walls his you have made strongholds his a ruin.
Tu en as abattu les clôtures, et de ses défenses tu as fait un épouvantail.
41 They have plundered him all [those who] pass by of [the] road he has become a reproach to neighbors his.
Tous ceux qui ont passé par le chemin l'ont pillé; il est devenu un opprobre pour ses voisins.
42 You have exalted [the] right [hand] of opponents his you have made to rejoice all enemies his.
Tu as exalté la droite de ses ennemis; tu les as tous réjouis.
43 Also you turn back [the] flint of sword his and not you have raised up him in battle.
Tu as ôté la force à son glaive, et dans la guerre tu ne l'as point secouru.
44 You have made cease from luster his and throne his to the ground you have thrown.
Tu as terni sa pureté; tu as brisé son trône contre terre.
45 You have made short [the] days of youth his you have wrapped on him shame (Selah)
Tu as abrégé les jours de son règne; tu as versé sur lui la honte.
46 Until when? O Yahweh will you hide yourself? to perpetuity will it burn? like a fire anger your.
Jusques à quand, Seigneur, te détourneras-tu pour notre perte? Jusques à quand ta colère brûlera-t-elle comme un feu?
47 Remember I what? [is] lifespan concerning what? emptiness have you created all [the] children of humankind.
Souviens-toi de ma substance; est-ce donc en vain que tu as créé tous les enfants des hommes?
48 Who? [is the] man [who] he will live and not he will see death [who] he will deliver life his from [the] hand of Sheol (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
Quel est l'homme qui vivra et ne verra point la mort, qui retirera son âme de la main de l'enfer? (Sheol h7585)
49 Where? - [are] covenant loyalti your former - O Lord [which] you swore an oath to David in faithfulness your.
Où sont, Seigneur, tes antiques miséricordes que tu avais promises à David, en ta vérité?
50 Remember O Lord [the] reproach of servants your bearing my in bosom my all many peoples.
Souviens-toi, Seigneur, de l'opprobre que j'ai renfermé en mon sein, et que tes serviteurs ont souffert de la part de maintes nations.
51 Which they have reproached enemies your - O Yahweh which they have reproached [the] footprints of anointed your.
Cet opprobre, ô Seigneur, est venu de tes ennemis; ils nous imputent à opprobre la récompense de ton Christ.
52 [be] blessed Yahweh for ever amen - and amen.
Béni soit le Seigneur dans l'éternité. Ainsi soit-il! Ainsi soit-il!
