Psalms 82

1 A psalm of Asaph God [is] taking his stand in [the] congregation of God in [the] midst of [the] gods he gives judgment.

Aszáf zsoltára. Isten áll az Istennek gyülekezetében, ítél az istenek között.

2 Until when? will you judge injustice and [the] face of wicked [people] will you lift up (Selah)

Meddig ítéltek még hamisan, és emelitek a gonoszok személyét? (Szela)

3 Give judgment for [the] poor and [the] fatherless [the] afflicted and [the] poor vindicate.

Ítéljetek a szegénynek és árvának; a nyomorultnak és elnyomottnak adjatok igazságot!

4 Deliver [the] poor and [the] needy from [the] hand of wicked [people] rescue [them].

Mentsétek meg a szegényt és szűkölködőt; a gonoszok kezéből szabadítsátok ki.

5 Not they know - and not they understand in darkness they walk about they are shaken all [the] foundations of [the] earth.

Nem tudnak, nem értenek, setétségben járnak; a földnek minden fundamentoma inog.

6 I I said [are] gods you and [are] [the] children of [the] Most High all of you.

Én mondottam: Istenek vagytok ti és a Felségesnek fiai ti mindnyájan:

7 Nevertheless like humankind you will die! and like one of the princes you will fall.

Mindamellett meghaltok, mint a közember, és elhullotok, mint akármely főember.

8 Arise! O God judge! the earth for you you have an inheritance among all the nations.

Kelj fel, oh Isten, ítéld meg a földet, mert néked jutnak örökségül minden népek.
