Psalms 82

1 A psalm of Asaph God [is] taking his stand in [the] congregation of God in [the] midst of [the] gods he gives judgment.

١ مَزْمُورٌ لآسَافَ. اللهُ يَتَرَأَّسُ سَاحَةَ قَضَائِهِ، وَعَلَى القُضَاةِ يُصْدِرُ حُكْماً.

2 Until when? will you judge injustice and [the] face of wicked [people] will you lift up (Selah)

٢ حَتَّى مَتَى تَقْضُونَ بِالظُّلْمِ وَتَنْحَازُونَ إِلَى الأَشْرَارِ؟

3 Give judgment for [the] poor and [the] fatherless [the] afflicted and [the] poor vindicate.

٣ احْكُمُوا لِلذَّلِيلِ وَالْيَتِيمِ. وَأَنْصِفُوا الْمِسْكِينَ وَالْبَائِسَ.

4 Deliver [the] poor and [the] needy from [the] hand of wicked [people] rescue [them].

٤ أَنْقِذُوا الْمِسْكِينَ وَالْفَقِيرَ؛ أَنْقِذُوهُمَا مِنْ قَبْضَةِ الأَشْرَارِ.

5 Not they know - and not they understand in darkness they walk about they are shaken all [the] foundations of [the] earth.

٥ هُمْ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَعْرِفَةٍ وَفَهْمٍ، يَتَمَشَّوْنَ فِي الظُّلْمَةِ وَتَتَزَعْزَعُ أُسُسُ الأَرْضِ مِنْ كَثْرَةِ الْجَوْرِ.

6 I I said [are] gods you and [are] [the] children of [the] Most High all of you.

٦ أَنَا قُلْتُ: «إِنَّكُمْ آلِهَةٌ، وَجَمِيعَكُمْ بَنُو الْعَلِيِّ.

7 Nevertheless like humankind you will die! and like one of the princes you will fall.

٧ لَكِنَّكُمْ سَتَمُوتُونَ كَالْبَشَرِ، وَتَنْتَهِي حَيَاتُكُمْ مِثْلَ كُلِّ الرُّؤَسَاءِ».

8 Arise! O God judge! the earth for you you have an inheritance among all the nations.

٨ قُمْ يَا اللهُ قُمْ. دِنِ الأَرْضَ، لأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ تَمْتَلِكُ الأُمَمَ بِأَسْرِهَا.
