1 To the choirmaster - on the Gittith of Asaph. Sing for joy to God strength our shout for joy to [the] God of Jacob.
To the ouercomer in the pressours of Asaph. Make ye fulli ioye to God, oure helpere; synge ye hertli to God of Jacob.
2 Lift up music and beat a tambourine a harp pleasant with a lyre.
Take ye a salm, and yyue ye a tympan; a myrie sautere with an harpe.
3 Blow at the new moon a ram's horn at the full moon to [the] day of festival our.
Blowe ye with a trumpe in Neomenye; in the noble dai of youre solempnite.
4 For [is] a decree for Israel it an ordinance of [the] God of Jacob.
For whi comaundement is in Israel; and doom is to God of Jacob.
5 A testimony - in Joseph he established it when went out he on [the] land of Egypt a language [which] not I knew I heard.
He settide that witnessing in Joseph; whanne he yede out of the lond of Egipt, he herde a langage, which he knew not.
6 I removed from a burden shoulder his hands his from a basket they passed away.
He turnede a wei his bak fro birthens; hise hondis serueden in a coffyn.
7 In trouble you called out and I rescued you I answered you in [the] hiding place of thunder I tested you at [the] waters of Meribah (Selah)
In tribulacioun thou inwardli clepidist me, and Y delyuerede thee; Y herde thee in the hid place of tempest, Y preuede thee at the water of ayenseiyng.
8 Listen O people my so let me warn you O Israel if you will listen to me.
My puple, here thou, and Y schal be witnesse ayens thee;
9 Not it will be among you a god strange and not you must bow down to a god of foreignness.
Israel, if thou herist me, a fresche God schal not be in thee, and thou schalt not worschipe an alien god.
10 I - [am] Yahweh God your who brought up you from [the] land of Egypt make large mouth your and I will fill it.
For Y am thi Lord God, that ladde thee out of the lond of Egipt; make large thi mouth, and Y schal fille it.
11 And not it listened people my to voice my and Israel not it yielded to me.
And my puple herde not my vois; and Israel yaue not tente to me.
12 And I gave over it in [the] stubbornness of heart their they walked in own schemes their.
And Y lefte hem aftir the desiris of her herte; thei schulen go in her fyndyngis.
13 If people my [will be] listening to me Israel in ways my they will walk.
If my puple hadde herde me; if Israel hadde go in my weies.
14 Like a little enemies their I will subdue and on opponents their I will turn hand my.
For nouyt in hap Y hadde maad low her enemyes; and Y hadde send myn hond on men doynge tribulacioun to hem.
15 [those who] hate Yahweh They will cringe to him and may it be time their for ever.
The enemyes of the Lord lieden to hym; and her tyme schal be in to worldis.
16 And he fed him from [the] best of [the] wheat and from a rock honey I will satisfy you.
And he fedde hem of the fatnesse of whete; and he fillide hem with hony of the stoon.
