Psalms 8

1 To the choirmaster on the Gittith a psalm of David. O Yahweh lord our how! majestic [is] name your in all the earth [the one] who set! splendor your above the heavens.

Fún adarí orin. Gẹ́gẹ́ bí ti gittiti. Saamu ti Dafidi. Olúwa, Olúwa wa, orúkọ rẹ̀ ti ní ìyìn tó ní gbogbo ayé! Ìwọ ti gbé ògo rẹ ga ju àwọn ọ̀run lọ.

2 From [the] mouth of children - and suckling-children you have established strength on account of opposers your to put an end to an enemy and an avenger.

Láti ẹnu ọmọ ọwọ́ àti ọmọ ọmú ni o ti yan ìyìn nítorí àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ, láti pa àwọn ọ̀tá àti àwọn olùgbẹ̀san lẹ́nu mọ́.

3 If I will see heavens your [the] works fingers your [the] moon and [the] stars which you have established.

Nígbà tí mo ro ọ̀run rẹ, iṣẹ́ ìka rẹ, òṣùpá àti ìràwọ̀, tí ìwọ tí gbé kalẹ̀,

4 What? [is] humankind that you will remember him and a son of humankind that you will pay attention to him.

kí ni ènìyàn tí ìwọ ń rò nípa rẹ̀, àní ọmọ ènìyàn tí ìwọ ń ṣe ìtọ́jú rẹ̀?

5 And you have made lack him little from God and honor and majesty you crown him.

Ìwọ ṣe é ní onírẹ̀lẹ̀ díẹ̀ ju Ọlọ́run lọ, ìwọ sì dé e ní adé ògo àti ọlá.

6 You make rule him over [the] works of hands your everything you have put under feet his.

Ìwọ mú un jẹ ọba lórí gbogbo iṣẹ́ ọwọ́ rẹ; ìwọ sì fi ohun gbogbo sí abẹ́ ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀:

7 Sheep and cattle all of them and also [the] animals of [the] field.

àwọn agbo àgùntàn àti àwọn màlúù, àti ẹranko igbó,

8 [the] bird[s] of [the] heavens And [the] fish of the sea [that which] passes through [the] paths of [the] seas.

ẹyẹ ojú ọrun, àti ẹja inú Òkun, àti ohun tí ń wẹ nínú ipa Òkun.

9 O Yahweh lord our how! majestic [is] name your in all the earth.

Olúwa, Olúwa wa, orúkọ rẹ ti ní ìyìn tó ní gbogbo ayé!
