Psalms 8

1 To the choirmaster on the Gittith a psalm of David. O Yahweh lord our how! majestic [is] name your in all the earth [the one] who set! splendor your above the heavens.

౧ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం దావీదు కీర్తన. గిత్తీత్ రాగం. యెహోవా మా ప్రభూ, పై ఆకాశాలలో నీ మహిమను చూపించేవాడా, భూమి అంతటిలో నీ నామం ఎంత వైభవం గలది!

2 From [the] mouth of children - and suckling-children you have established strength on account of opposers your to put an end to an enemy and an avenger.

౨శత్రువునూ, ప్రతీకారం చేసేవాణ్ణీ నోరు మూయించడానికీ, నీ విరోధుల కారణంగా, పసికందుల, చంటి పిల్లల నోటిలో నువ్వు స్తుతిని సృష్టించావు.

3 If I will see heavens your [the] works fingers your [the] moon and [the] stars which you have established.

౩నీ చేతి వేళ్ళు తయారు చేసిన నీ ఆకాశాలనూ, వాటి తావులలో నీవుంచిన చంద్రనక్షత్రాలనూ నేను చూసినప్పుడు,

4 What? [is] humankind that you will remember him and a son of humankind that you will pay attention to him.

౪నువ్వు పట్టించుకోవడానికి మానవజాతి ఏ పాటిది? నువ్వు మానవాళి పట్ల శ్రద్ధ చూపడానికి వారు ఎంతటివాళ్ళు?

5 And you have made lack him little from God and honor and majesty you crown him.

౫అయినా, నువ్వు వాళ్ళను స్వర్గలోక ప్రాణులకన్నా కొంచెం మాత్రమే తక్కువగా చేశావు. వాళ్లకు మహిమా ప్రభావాల కిరీటం పెట్టావు.

6 You make rule him over [the] works of hands your everything you have put under feet his.

౬నీ చేతిపనుల మీద అతనికి పరిపాలన ఇచ్చావు. అతడి పాదాల కింద సమస్తమును ఉంచావు.

7 Sheep and cattle all of them and also [the] animals of [the] field.

౭గొర్రెలను, ఎడ్లను, అడవి మృగాలను సైతం,

8 [the] bird[s] of [the] heavens And [the] fish of the sea [that which] passes through [the] paths of [the] seas.

౮ఆకాశ పక్షులను, సముద్ర ప్రాణులను, సముద్ర ప్రవాహాల్లో తిరిగే వాటిని నువ్వు అతని పాదాల కింద ఉంచావు.

9 O Yahweh lord our how! majestic [is] name your in all the earth.

౯యెహోవా మా ప్రభూ, భూమి అంతటిలో నీ నామం ఎంత వైభవం గలది!
