Psalms 8

1 To the choirmaster on the Gittith a psalm of David. O Yahweh lord our how! majestic [is] name your in all the earth [the one] who set! splendor your above the heavens.

¡Oh Señor, Señor nuestro, cuya gloria es más alta que los cielos, cuán glorioso es tu nombre en toda la tierra!

2 From [the] mouth of children - and suckling-children you have established strength on account of opposers your to put an end to an enemy and an avenger.

Has construido una fortaleza, con la alabanza de los niños y los bebés de pecho, por causa de tus enemigos para hacer callar al hombre cruel y violento.

3 If I will see heavens your [the] works fingers your [the] moon and [the] stars which you have established.

Cuando veo tus cielos, obra de tus dedos, la luna y las estrellas, que has puesto en su lugar;

4 What? [is] humankind that you will remember him and a son of humankind that you will pay attention to him.

Pienso: ¿Qué es el hombre, que lo tienes en mente? el hijo del hombre, que lo tomas en cuenta?

5 And you have made lack him little from God and honor and majesty you crown him.

Porque lo has hecho solo un poco más bajo que los ángeles. coronándolo con gloria y honor.

6 You make rule him over [the] works of hands your everything you have put under feet his.

Lo has puesto sobre las obras de tus manos; has puesto todas las cosas bajo sus pies;

7 Sheep and cattle all of them and also [the] animals of [the] field.

Todas las ovejas y los bueyes, y todas las bestias del campo;

8 [the] bird[s] of [the] heavens And [the] fish of the sea [that which] passes through [the] paths of [the] seas.

Las aves del cielo y los peces del Mar, y todo lo que atraviesa las aguas profundas de los mares.

9 O Yahweh lord our how! majestic [is] name your in all the earth.
