Psalms 77
1 To the choirmaster on (Jeduthun *Q(K)*) of Asaph a psalm. Voice my to God and I will cry out voice my to God and he will give ear to me.
Voor muziekbegeleiding; voor Jedoetoen. Een psalm van Asaf. Luide roep ik tot Jahweh; Luide tot God, opdat Hij mij hore!
2 In [the] day of distress my [the] Lord I sought hand my - night it was stretched out and not it grew numb it refused to be comforted self my.
Overdag zoek ik in mijn benauwdheid den Heer, ‘s Nachts strekken mijn handen zich uit, onvermoeid.
3 I will remember God so I may murmur I will complain - for it may faint away spirit my (Selah)
Mijn ziel weigert troost: denk ik aan God, ik moet kreunen; Peins ik na, mijn geest is verslagen.
4 You held [the] eyelids of eyes my I was troubled and not I spoke.
Ik kan mijn ogen niet sluiten, En van onrust niet spreken.
5 I thought about days from antiquity years of antiquiti.
Ik denk aan de oude dagen terug, En herinner me weer de vroegere jaren;
6 I will remember song my in the night with heart my I will meditate and it searched spirit my.
Ik lig er ‘s nachts over te peinzen, Te klagen, en in mijn gedachten te tobben.
7 ¿ To forever will he reject - [the] Lord and not will he repeat? to show favor again.
Zou de Heer dan voor altijd verstoten, En nooit genadig meer zijn;
8 ¿ Has it come to an end to perpetuity covenant loyalty his has it come to an end? a word to a generation and a generation.
Zou zijn liefde voorgoed zijn verdwenen, Zijn belofte verbroken, die Hij deed van geslacht tot geslacht;
9 ¿ Has he forgotten to have compassion God or? has he shut off in anger compassion his (Selah)
Zou God zijn vergeten, Zich te ontfermen, Of in zijn toorn zijn hart hebben gesloten?
10 And I said [is] wounding my it [the] years of [the] right [hand] of [the] Most High.
Maar ik sprak: Neen, dìt werp ik ver van mij af, Dat de hand van den Allerhoogste veranderd zou zijn!
11 (I will remember *Q(K)*) [the] deeds of Yahweh for I will remember from antiquity wonder[s] your.
Ik dacht dus aan uw daden, o Jahweh, Dacht terug aan uw vroegere wonderen;
12 And I will meditate on all work your and on deeds your I will meditate.
Peinsde over al uw werken, Overwoog, wat door U is verricht.
13 O God [is] in holiness way your who? [is] a god great like God.
Ja, uw weg was heilig, o God; Welke God was ontzaglijk als Jahweh!
14 You [are] the God [who] does wonder[s] you have made known among the peoples strength your.
Gij waart de God, die wonderen wrochtte, En uw macht aan de heidenen toonde!
15 You redeemed by an arm people your [the] descendants of Jacob and Joseph (Selah)
Gij hebt door uw arm uw volk verlost, De zonen van Jakob en Josef!
16 They saw you [the] waters - O God they saw you [the] waters they writhed in agony also they trembled [the] deeps.
De wateren zagen U, o God, De wateren zagen U en beefden, Zelfs de zeeën begonnen te rillen;
17 They poured forth water - clouds a sound they gave forth clouds also arrows your they went about.
De wolken goten stromen neer, Het zwerk daverde en dreunde, Langs alle kant vlogen uw schichten rond.
18 [the] sound of Thunder your - [was] in the whirlwind they lit up lightning flashes [the] world it trembled and it shook the earth.
Uw donder kraakte en rolde, Uw bliksems verlichtten de wereld, De aarde rilde en beefde!
19 [was] in the Sea way your (and path your *Q(K)*) [was] in waters many and footprints your not they were known.
Uw weg liep midden door de zee, Uw pad door onstuimige wateren; Toch bleven uw sporen onzichtbaar!
20 You led like flock people your by [the] hand of Moses and Aaron.
Zo hebt Gij uw volk als schapen geleid, Door de hand van Moses en Aäron!
