Psalms 75

1 To the choirmaster al-tashcheth a psalm of Asaph a song. We give thanks to you - O God we give thanks and [is] near name your people recount wonders your.

Til Sangmesteren; „fordærv ikke‟; en Psalme af Asaf, en Sang.

2 If I will take an appointed time I uprightness I will judge.

Vi takke dig, Gud! vi takke, og nær er dit Navn; man fortæller dine underfulde Gerninger.

3 [are] melting away [the] earth And all inhabitants its I I put in order pillars its (Selah)

Thi „jeg vil gribe den bestemte Tid, jeg vil dømme med Retfærdighed,

4 I say to the boasters may not you boast and to the wicked [people] may not you lift up a horn.

Hensmeltede end Jorden og alle dens Beboere, jeg har dog sat dens Piller fast‟. (Sela)

5 May not you lift up to the height horn your may you speak with a neck arrogance.

Jeg sagde til Daarerne: Værer ikke Daarer! og til de ugudelige: Opløfter ikke Horn!

6 For not [is] from [the] going out and from [the] setting place and not from [the] wilderness exaltation.

Opløfter ikke eders Horn imod det høje, taler ej med knejsende Nakke!

7 For God [is the] judge this one he brings low and this one he lifts up.

Thi Ophøjelse kommer ikke af Øster eller af Vester, ej heller af Ørken;

8 For a cup [is] in [the] hand of Yahweh and wine it is foaming - full spiced drink and he has poured out some of this surely dregs its they will drain they will drink all [the] wicked [people] of [the] earth.

men Gud er den, som dømmer; han nedtrykker den ene og ophøjer den anden.

9 And I I will declare for ever I will sing praises to [the] God of Jacob.

Thi der er et Bæger i Herrens Haand med skummende Vin; det er fuldt af blandet Vin, og han skænker ud deraf; men Bærmen deraf maa de indsuge og drikke, alle de ugudelige paa Jorden.

10 And all [the] horns of wicked [people] I will cut off they will be lifted up [the] horns of [the] righteous.

Og jeg vil forkynde det evindelig; jeg vil lovsynge Jakobs Gud. Og jeg vil afhugge alle de ugudeliges Horn; men den retfærdiges Horn skal ophøjes.
