Psalms 73
1 A psalm of Asaph surely [is] good to Israel God to [people] pure of heart.
| مَزْمُورٌ. لِآسَافَ إِنَّمَا صَالِحٌ ٱللهُ لِإِسْرَائِيلَ، لِأَنْقِيَاءِ ٱلْقَلْبِ. | ١ |
2 And I like a little (they had turned aside *Q(K)*) feet my like nothing (they had been poured out *Q(K)*) steps my.
| أَمَّا أَنَا فَكَادَتْ تَزِلُّ قَدَمَايَ. لَوْلَا قَلِيلٌ لَزَلِقَتْ خَطَوَاتِي. | ٢ |
3 For I was jealous of the boasters [the] well-being of wicked [people] I saw.
| لِأَنِّي غِرْتُ مِنَ ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ، إِذْ رَأَيْتُ سَلَامَةَ ٱلْأَشْرَارِ. | ٣ |
4 That there not [are] pangs to death their and [is] fat body their.
| لِأَنَّهُ لَيْسَتْ فِي مَوْتِهِمْ شَدَائِدُ، وَجِسْمُهُمْ سَمِينٌ. | ٤ |
5 [are] in [the] trouble of Humankind not they and with humankind not they are stricken.
| لَيْسُوا فِي تَعَبِ ٱلنَّاسِ، وَمَعَ ٱلْبَشَرِ لَا يُصَابُونَ. | ٥ |
6 Therefore [it is] a necklace [for] them pride it covers a garment of violence them.
| لِذَلِكَ تَقَلَّدُوا ٱلْكِبْرِيَاءَ. لَبِسُوا كَثَوْبٍ ظُلْمَهُمْ. | ٦ |
7 It comes out from fat eye their they pass over [the] imaginations of heart.
| جَحَظَتْ عُيُونُهُمْ مِنَ ٱلشَّحْمِ. جَاوَزُوا تَصَوُّرَاتِ ٱلْقَلْبِ. | ٧ |
8 They mock - and they may speak with evil oppression from a high place they speak.
| يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ وَيَتَكَلَّمُونَ بِٱلشَّرِّ ظُلْمًا. مِنَ ٱلْعَلَاءِ يَتَكَلَّمُونَ. | ٨ |
9 They set in the heavens mouth their and tongue their it walks on the earth.
| جَعَلُوا أَفْوَاهَهُمْ فِي ٱلسَّمَاءِ، وَأَلْسِنَتُهُمْ تَتَمَشَّى فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ. | ٩ |
10 Therefore - (it turns back *Q(K)*) people his here and waters of full they are drained by them.
| لِذَلِكَ يَرْجِعُ شَعْبُهُ إِلَى هُنَا، وَكَمِيَاهٍ مُرْوِيَةٍ يُمْتَصُّونَ مِنْهُمْ. | ١٠ |
11 And they say how? does he know God and [is] there? knowledge with [the] Most High.
| وَقَالُوا: «كَيْفَ يَعْلَمُ ٱللهُ؟ وَهَلْ عِنْدَ ٱلْعَلِيِّ مَعْرِفَةٌ؟». | ١١ |
12 Here! these [are] wicked [people] and [people] at ease of perpetuity they increase wealth.
| هُوَذَا هَؤُلَاءِ هُمُ ٱلْأَشْرَارُ، وَمُسْتَرِيحِينَ إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ يُكْثِرُونَ ثَرْوَةً. | ١٢ |
13 Surely vanity I have kept pure heart my and I have washed in innocence hands my.
| حَقًّا قَدْ زَكَّيْتُ قَلْبِي بَاطِلًا وَغَسَلْتُ بِٱلنَّقَاوَةِ يَدَيَّ. | ١٣ |
14 And I have been stricken all the day and rebuke my [has been] to the mornings.
| وَكُنْتُ مُصَابًا ٱلْيَوْمَ كُلَّهُ، وَتَأَدَّبْتُ كُلَّ صَبَاحٍ. | ١٤ |
15 If I had said I will speak like here! [the] generation of children your I dealt treacherously with.
| لَوْ قُلْتُ أُحَدِّثُ هَكَذَا، لَغَدَرْتُ بِجِيلِ بَنِيكَ. | ١٥ |
16 And I thought! to know this [was] trouble (it *Q(K)*) in view my.
| فَلَمَّا قَصَدْتُ مَعْرِفَةَ هَذَا، إِذَا هُوَ تَعَبٌ فِي عَيْنَيَّ. | ١٦ |
17 Until I went into [the] sanctuari of God I considered end their.
| حَتَّى دَخَلْتُ مَقَادِسَ ٱللهِ، وَٱنْتَبَهْتُ إِلَى آخِرَتِهِمْ. | ١٧ |
18 Surely on slippery [places] you set them you make fall them to deceptions.
| حَقًّا فِي مَزَالِقَ جَعَلْتَهُمْ. أَسْقَطْتَهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْبَوَارِ. | ١٨ |
19 How! they have become a waste like a moment they come to an end they are finished from sudden terror.
| كَيْفَ صَارُوا لِلْخَرَابِ بَغْتَةً! ٱضْمَحَلُّوا، فَنُوا مِنَ ٱلدَّوَاهِي. | ١٩ |
20 Like a dream from when awakes O Lord when waken - image their you will despise.
| كَحُلْمٍ عِنْدَ ٱلتَّيَقُّظِ يَارَبُّ، عِنْدَ ٱلتَّيَقُّظِ تَحْتَقِرُ خَيَالَهُمْ. | ٢٠ |
21 If it was embittered heart my and kidneys my I was pierced.
| لِأَنَّهُ تَمَرْمَرَ قَلْبِي، وَٱنْتَخَسْتُ فِي كُلْيَتَيَّ. | ٢١ |
22 And I [was] stupid and not I knew animals I was with you.
| وَأَنَا بَلِيدٌ وَلَا أَعْرِفُ. صِرْتُ كَبَهِيمٍ عِنْدَكَ. | ٢٢ |
23 And I continually [am] with you you take hold on [the] hand of right my.
| وَلَكِنِّي دَائِمًا مَعَكَ. أَمْسَكْتَ بِيَدِي ٱلْيُمْنَى. | ٢٣ |
24 With counsel your you guide me and after honor you will take me.
| بِرَأْيِكَ تَهْدِينِي، وَبَعْدُ إِلَى مَجْدٍ تَأْخُذُنِي. | ٢٤ |
25 Who? [belongs] to me in the heavens and with you not I take pleasure on the earth.
| مَنْ لِي فِي ٱلسَّمَاءِ؟ وَمَعَكَ لَا أُرِيدُ شَيْئًا فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ. | ٢٥ |
26 It had come to an end flesh my and heart my [is] [the] rock of heart my and portion my God for ever.
| قَدْ فَنِيَ لَحْمِي وَقَلْبِي. صَخْرَةُ قَلْبِي وَنَصِيبِي ٱللهُ إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ. | ٢٦ |
27 For there! [people] far from you they will perish you destroy every [one who] acts as a prostitute from you.
| لِأَنَّهُ هُوَذَا ٱلْبُعَدَاءُ عَنْكَ يَبِيدُونَ. تُهْلِكُ كُلَّ مَنْ يَزْنِي عَنْكَ. | ٢٧ |
28 And I - [the] approach of God for me [is] good I have made - in [the] Lord Yahweh refuge my to recount all works your.
| أَمَّا أَنَا فَٱلِٱقْتِرَابُ إِلَى ٱللهِ حَسَنٌ لِي. جَعَلْتُ بِٱلسَّيِّدِ ٱلرَّبِّ مَلْجَإِي، لِأُخْبِرَ بِكُلِّ صَنَائِعِكَ. | ٢٨ |
