Psalms 72
1 Of Solomon - O God judgments your to [the] king give and righteousness your to [the] son of [the] king.
Salomon. Jumala, anna tuomios kuninkaalle, ja vanhurskautes kuninkaan pojalle,
2 He will judge people your with righteousness and poor [people] your with justice.
Että hän veis sinun kansas vanhurskauteen, ja auttais sinun raadollistas.
3 They will carry mountains peace to the people and hills in righteousness.
Vuoret tuokaan rauhan kansalle, ja kukulat vanhurskauden.
4 He will judge - [the] poor [people] of [the] people he will save [the] children of [the] needy so he may crush [the] oppressor.
Hänen pitää raadollisen kansan oikeudessa pitämän, ja köyhäin lapsia auttaman ja särkemän pilkkaajat.
5 People will fear you with [the] sun and before [the] moon generation of generations.
Sinua peljätään, niinkauvan kuin aurinko ja kuu ovat, lapsista niin lasten lapsiin.
6 He will come down like rain on mown grass like copious showers dropping of [the] earth.
Hän laskee alas niinkuin sade heinän sängelle, niinkuin pisarat, jotka maan lioittavat.
7 He will flourish in days his [the] righteous and abundance of well-being [will be] until not [the] moon.
Hänen aikanansa vanhurskas kukoistaa, ja on suuri rauha siihen asti, ettei kuuta enää olekaan.
8 And may he rule from sea to sea and from [the] river to [the] ends of [the] earth.
Hän hallitsee merestä mereen ja virrasta maailman ääriin.
9 Before him they will bow down desert-dwellers and enemies his dust they will lick up.
Häntä pitää korven asuvaiset kumartaman, ja hänen vihollisensa pitää tomun nuoleman.
10 [the] kings of Tarshish and [the] islands tribute they will pay [the] kings of Sheba and Seba a gift they will bring near.
Kuninkaat meren tyköä ja luodoista pitää lahjoja kantaman: kuninkaat rikkaasta Arabiasta ja Sebasta pitää annot tuoman.
11 And they may bow down to him all kings all nations they will serve him.
Kaikki kuninkaat pitää häntä kumartaman, ja kaikki pakanat pitää häntä palveleman.
12 For he will deliver [the] needy [who] cries for help and [the] poor and not a helper [belongs] to him.
Sillä hän vapahtaa huutavaisen köyhän, ja raadollisen, jolla ei ole auttajaa.
13 He will have compassion on [the] poor and [the] needy and [the] lives of needy [people] he will save.
Hän on armollinen vaivaiselle ja köyhälle, ja köyhäin sielua hän auttaa.
14 From oppression and from violence he will redeem life their and may be precious blood their in view his.
Hän lunastaa heidän sielunsa petoksesta ja väkivallasta, ja heidän verensä luetaan kalliiksi hänen silmäinsä edessä.
15 And may he live and he may give to him some of [the] gold of Sheba and [may] someone pray for him continually all the day may someone bless him.
Ja hän elää ja hänelle pitää annettaman kultaa rikkaasta Arabiasta, ja häntä alati kumartaen rukoiltaman, joka päivä pitää häntä kiitettämän.
16 May it be an abundance of grain - in the land on [the] top of [the] mountains may it wave like Lebanon fruit its and may people blossom from [the] city like [the] vegetation of the earth.
Pivo jyviä pitää niin oleman maassa ja vuorten kukkuloilla, että sen hedelmä pitää häälymän niinkuin Libanon; ja kaupungin asuvaiset pitää kukoistaman niinkuin ruoho maan päällä.
17 May it be name his for ever before [the] sun (may it increase *Q(K)*) name his and may they bless themselves by him all nations may they call blessed him.
Hänen nimensä pysyy ijankaikkisesti: niinkauvan kuin aurinko on, ulottuu hänen nimensä jälkeentulevaisille; ja he tulevat siunatuksi hänen kauttansa: kaikki pakanat ylistävät häntä.
18 [be] blessed - Yahweh God [the] God of Israel [who] does wonders to only him.
Kiitetty olkoon Herra Jumala, Israelin Jumala, joka yksinänsä ihmeitä tekee!
19 And [be] blessed - [the] name of glory his for ever and may it be filled glory his all the earth amen - and amen.
Ja kiitetty olkoon hänen kunniansa nimi ijankaikkisesti; ja kaikki maa täytettäköön hänen kunniastansa, amen! amen!
20 They are finished [the] prayers of David [the] son of Jesse.
