< Psalms 64 >
1 To the choirmaster a psalm of David. Hear O God voice my in complaint my from dread of an enemy you will preserve life my.
Ki he Takimuʻa, ko e Saame ʻa Tevita. Fanongo ki hoku leʻo, ʻE ʻOtua, ʻi heʻeku lotu: fakahaofi ʻeku moʻui mei he manavahē ki he fili.
2 You will hide me from [the] secret counsel of evil-doers from [the] unrest of [those who] do wickedness.
Fakafufū au mei he filioʻi ʻae kau angahala; mei he angatuʻu fakamaveuveu ʻoe kau fai kovi:
3 Who they sharpen like sword tongue their they bend arrow their a word bitter.
ʻOku nau fakamata honau ʻelelo ʻo hangē ko e heletā, ʻonau teke ʻenau kaufana ke fanaʻi ʻenau ngaahi ngahau, ʻio, ko e ngaahi lea kona.
4 To shoot in secret places [the] blameless suddenly they shoot at him and not they are afraid.
Koeʻuhi ke nau fana ʻi he lilo ki he haohaoa: ʻoku nau fana fakafokifā pe kiate ia, ʻo taʻemanavahē.
5 They strengthen for themselves - a matter evil they speak to hide snares they say who? will he see them.
ʻOku nau fetokoniʻaki ʻakinautolu ʻi he meʻa kovi: ʻoku nau fakakaukau ke tau ʻae ngaahi tauhele ʻi he lilo; ʻoku nau pehē, “Ko hai te ne mamata kiate kimautolu?”
6 They plot injustice we have finished a plot plotted and [the] inner being of a person and [the] heart [is] deep.
ʻOku nau kumi ke ʻilo ʻae ngaahi kovi ʻoku nau faʻa ʻeke ke lahi: ʻoku taumamaʻo ʻae mahalo mo e loto ʻokinautolu kotoa pē.
7 And he shot at them God an arrow suddenly they will be wounds their.
Ka ʻe fana ʻe he ʻOtua kiate kinautolu ʻaki ʻae ngahau; te nau lavea fakafokifā pe.
8 And they caused to stumble him [is] on them tongue their they will shudder every [one who] looks on them.
Ko ia tenau ngaohi honau ʻelelo ke tō kiate kinautolu: ʻe hola ʻakinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku mamata kiate kinautolu.
9 And they were afraid all humankind and they declared [the] deed[s] of God and work his they will consider.
Pea ʻe manavahē ʻae tangata kotoa pē, ʻonau fakahā ʻae ngāue ʻae ʻOtua; he tenau fakakaukau poto ki heʻene ngāue.
10 Let him rejoice [the] righteous in Yahweh and he will take refuge in him and let them boast all [people] upright of heart.
ʻE fiefia ʻae māʻoniʻoni ʻi he ʻEiki, pea falala kiate ia; pea vikiviki ai ʻakinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku angatonu ʻi loto.
