Psalms 63

1 A psalm of David when was he in [the] wilderness of Judah. O God - [are] God my you I am seeking earnestly you it is thirsty for you - self my it longs for you flesh my in a land dry and weary not water.

מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד בִּהְיוֹתוֹ בְּמִדְבַּר יְהוּדָֽה׃ אֱלֹהִים ׀ אֵלִי אַתָּה אֲֽשַׁחֲרֶךָּ צָמְאָה לְךָ ׀ נַפְשִׁי כָּמַהּ לְךָ בְשָׂרִי בְּאֶֽרֶץ־צִיָּה וְעָיֵף בְּלִי־מָֽיִם׃

2 Thus in the sanctuary I have seen you to see strength your and glory your.

כֵּן בַּקֹּדֶשׁ חֲזִיתִךָ לִרְאוֹת עֻזְּךָ וּכְבוֹדֶֽךָ׃

3 For [is] good covenant loyalty your more than life lips my they will extol you.

כִּי־טוֹב חַסְדְּךָ מֵחַיִּים שְׂפָתַי יְשַׁבְּחֽוּנְךָ׃

4 Thus I will bless you in life my in name your I will lift up hands my.

כֵּן אֲבָרֶכְךָ בְחַיָּי בְּשִׁמְךָ אֶשָּׂא כַפָּֽי׃

5 Like fat and fatness it will be satisfied self my and lips of cries of joy it will praise [you] mouth my.

כְּמוֹ חֵלֶב וָדֶשֶׁן תִּשְׂבַּע נַפְשִׁי וְשִׂפְתֵי רְנָנוֹת יְהַלֶּל־פִּֽי׃

6 If I have remembered you on beds my in [the] night-watches I meditate on you.

אִם־זְכַרְתִּיךָ עַל־יְצוּעָי בְּאַשְׁמֻרוֹת אֶהְגֶּה־בָּֽךְ׃

7 For you are a help of me and in [the] shadow of wings your I shout for joy.

כִּֽי־הָיִיתָ עֶזְרָתָה לִּי וּבְצֵל כְּנָפֶיךָ אֲרַנֵּֽן׃

8 It clings self my after you me it supports right [hand] your.

דָּבְקָה נַפְשִׁי אַחֲרֶיךָ בִּי תָּמְכָה יְמִינֶֽךָ׃

9 And they to destruction they are seeking life my they will go in [the] lower parts of the earth.

וְהֵמָּה לְשׁוֹאָה יְבַקְשׁוּ נַפְשִׁי יָבֹאוּ בְּֽתַחְתִּיּוֹת הָאָֽרֶץ׃

10 People will pour him over [the] hands of [the] sword [the] portion of foxes they will be.

יַגִּירֻהוּ עַל־יְדֵי־חָרֶב מְנָת שֻׁעָלִים יִהְיֽוּ׃

11 And the king he will rejoice in God he will boast every [one who] swears an oath by him for it will be shut up [the] mouth of [those who] speak falsehood.

וְהַמֶּלֶךְ יִשְׂמַח בֵּאלֹהִים יִתְהַלֵּל כׇּל־הַנִּשְׁבָּע בּוֹ כִּי יִסָּכֵר פִּי דוֹבְרֵי־שָֽׁקֶר׃
