< Psalms 62 >

1 To the choirmaster on Jeduthun a psalm of David. Only [is] with God silence being my [is] from him salvation my.
To the excelletn musician Ieduthun. A Psalme of David. Yet my soule keepeth silence vnto God: of him commeth my saluation.
2 Only he [is] rock my and salvation my refuge my not I will be shaken much.
Yet he is my strength and my saluation, and my defence: therefore I shall not much be mooued.
3 Until when? - will you attack on a person you will be murdered all of you like a wall bent down a fence pushed down.
How long wil ye imagine mischiefe against a man? ye shalbe all slaine: ye shalbe as a bowed wall, or as a wall shaken.
4 Surely from loftiness his - they have planned to thrust [him] down they are pleased with falsehood with mouth his they bless and in inner being their they curse (Selah)
Yet they consult to cast him downe from his dignitie: their delight is in lies, they blesse with their mouthes, but curse with their hearts. (Selah)
5 Only to God be silent O self my for that [is] from him hope my.
Yet my soule keepe thou silence vnto God: for mine hope is in him.
6 Only he [is] rock my and salvation my refuge my not I will be shaken.
Yet is hee my strength, and my saluation, and my defence: therefore I shall not be mooued.
7 [is] on God salvation my and honor my [the] rock of strength my refuge my [is] in God.
In God is my saluation and my glory, the rocke of my strength: in God is my trust.
8 Trust in him at every time - O people pour out before him heart your God [is] a refuge of us (Selah)
Trust in him alway, ye people: powre out your hearts before him, for God is our hope. (Selah)
9 Only - [are] a breath [the] children of humankind [are] falsehood [the] children of everyone in [the] balances to go up they [are] more than a breath together.
Yet the children of men are vanitie, the chiefe men are lies: to lay them vpon a balance they are altogether lighter then vanitie.
10 May not you trust in extortion and in robbery may not you put vain hope wealth - if it will bear fruit may not you set heart.
Trust not in oppression nor in robberie: be not vaine: if riches increase, set not your heart thereon.
11 One [time] - he has spoken God two [times] this I have heard that strength [belongs] to God.
God spake once or twise, I haue heard it, that power belongeth vnto God,
12 And [belongs] to you O Lord covenant loyalty for you you repay to a person according to work his.
And to thee, O Lord, mercie: for thou rewardest euery one according to his worke.
