Psalms 61

1 To the choirmaster - on a stringed instrument of David. Hear! O God cry of entreaty my pay attention to! prayer my.

Untuk pemimpin kor. Dengan permainan kecapi. Dari Daud. Dengarlah seruanku, ya Allah, perhatikanlah doaku.

Jauh dari rumah aku berseru kepada-Mu, karena aku putus asa. Engkau akan menghantar aku ke tempat pengungsian yang aman, tempat yang terlalu tinggi bagiku;

sebab Engkaulah pelindungku, pertahanan yang kuat terhadap musuhku.

4 Let me sojourn in tent your forever let me take refuge in [the] shelter of wings your (Selah)

Biarlah aku seumur hidup menumpang di kemah-Mu, supaya aman dalam naungan sayap-Mu.

5 For you O God you have listened to vows my you have given [the] possession of [those] fearing name your.

Sebab Engkau telah mendengar janjiku, ya Allah, dan memberi kepadaku milik pusaka orang takwa.

6 Days to [the] days of [the] king you will add years his [be] like a generation and a generation.

Semoga raja panjang umur, sehingga ia hidup turun-temurun.

7 May he sit forever before God covenant loyalty and faithfulness appoint they will preserve him.

Semoga ia memerintah untuk selama-lamanya sebagai raja pilihan-Mu, ya Allah, lindungilah dia dengan kasih dan kesetiaan-Mu.

Maka aku akan selalu menyanyikan pujian bagi-Mu, sambil menepati janjiku dari hari ke hari.
