Psalms 61

1 To the choirmaster - on a stringed instrument of David. Hear! O God cry of entreaty my pay attention to! prayer my.

١ لِقَائِدِ الْمُنْشِدِينَ عَلَى الآلاتِ الْوَتَرِيَّةِ. مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ اسْتَمِعْ يَا اللهُ إِلَى صُرَاخِي وَأَصْغِ إِلَى صَلاتِي.

2 From [the] end of the earth - to you I call when grows faint heart my on a rock [which] it is high more than me you will lead me.

٢ مِنْ أَقْصَى الأَرْضِ أَدْعُوكَ إِذَا غُشِيَ عَلَى قَلْبِي، فَتَهْدِينِي إِلَى صَخْرَةٍ عَالِيَةٍ يَتَعَذَّرُ ارْتِقَاؤُهَا.

3 For you have been a refuge of me a tower of strength from before [the] enemy.

٣ لأَنَّكَ كُنْتَ لِي مَلْجَأً وَبُرْجاً مَنِيعاً يَحْمِينِي مِنَ الْعَدُوِّ.

4 Let me sojourn in tent your forever let me take refuge in [the] shelter of wings your (Selah)

٤ لِذَا أَسْكُنُ فِي خَيْمَتِكَ إِلَى الأَبَدِ، وَأَعْتَصِمُ بِسِتْرِ جَنَاحَيْكَ،

5 For you O God you have listened to vows my you have given [the] possession of [those] fearing name your.

٥ لأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ يَا اللهُ قَدِ اسْتَمَعْتَ إِلَى نُذُورِي. أَعْطَيْتَنِي مِيرَاثاً كَمِيرَاثِ الَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ اسْمَكَ.

6 Days to [the] days of [the] king you will add years his [be] like a generation and a generation.

٦ تُضِيفُ أَيَّاماً إِلَى عُمْرِ الْمَلِكِ، فَتَكُونُ سِنُو حَيَاتِهِ كَأَجْيَالٍ عَدِيدَةٍ.

7 May he sit forever before God covenant loyalty and faithfulness appoint they will preserve him.

٧ يَبْقَى عَلَى عَرْشِهِ أَمَامَ اللهِ إِلَى الأَبَدِ. وَاجْعَلِ الرَّحْمَةَ وَالْحَقَّ يَحْفَظَانِهِ.

8 Thus I will sing praises to name your for ever to pay I vows my day - day.

٨ وَهَكَذَا أُرَنِّمُ لاِسْمِكَ إِلَى الأَبَدِ، وَأُوْفِي نُذُورِي دَائِماً.
