Psalms 59
1 To the choirmaster al-tashcheth of David a miktam when sent Saul and people watched the house to kill him. Deliver me from enemies my - O God my from [those who] rise up against me may you set on high me.
Jusqu'à la Fin, avec cette inscription de David: Ne détruis pas; quand Saül envoya et fit garder sa maison pour le mettre à mort. O Dieu, délivre-moi de mes ennemis; délivre-moi de ceux qui s'élèvent contre moi.
2 Deliver me from [those who] do wickedness and from men of blood save me.
Délivre-moi des ouvriers d'iniquité, et sauve-moi des hommes de sang.
3 For here! they lie in wait for life my they stir up trouble on me fierce [people] not transgression my and not sin my O Yahweh.
Car voilà qu'ils ont fait la chasse à mon âme; des hommes puissants se sont jetés sur moi.
4 Not iniquity they run! and they may be established awake! to meet me and see.
Ce n'est ni mon iniquité ni mon péché, Seigneur, qui en sont la cause: exempt d'iniquité, j'ai couru droit devant moi.
5 And you O Yahweh God of - hosts [the] God of Israel awake! to punish all the nations may not you show favor to all [those who] act treacherously of wickedness (Selah)
Réveille-toi, viens à mon aide, et vois, Seigneur, Dieu des vertus. Dieu d'Israël; sois attentif à visiter les nations; n'aie aucune pitié pour ceux qui commettent l'iniquité.
6 They return to evening they growl like dog so they may go around [the] city.
Ils viendront sur le soir, et ils seront affamés comme des chiens, et ils courront autour de la ville.
7 Here! - they pour forth! with mouth their swords [are] on lips their for who? [is] hearing.
Voilà qu'ils vociféreront, et ils auront une épée sur les lèvres: Qui nous entend? s'écrieront-ils.
8 And you O Yahweh you laugh to them you mock all [the] nations.
Et toi, Seigneur, tu riras d'eux; tu réduiras toutes les nations à néant.
9 Strength his to you I will watch for God [is] refuge my.
Je garderai ma force en toi; car ô mon Dieu, tu es mon défenseur.
10 [the] God of (Covenant loyalty my *Q(K)*) he will meet me God he will let look me on enemies my.
Quant à mon Dieu, sa miséricorde me préviendra.
11 May not you kill them - lest they should forget people my make wander about them by strength your and bring down them O shield our O Lord.
Dieu me montrera sa vengeance sur mes ennemis. Ne les fais pas mourir, de peur que ton peuple n'en perde la mémoire. Disperse-les en ta puissance, et renverse-les. Dieu mon protecteur.
12 [the] sin of Mouth their [the] word of lips their and let them be caught in pride their and from a curse and from lying [which] they speak.
Châtie le péché de leur bouche, les paroles de leurs lèvres; qu'ils soient punis dans leur orgueil; et l'on s'entretiendra de leurs malédictions, de leurs mensonges.
13 Make an end in anger make an end and there not [will be] them so they may know that God [is] ruling over Jacob to [the] ends of the earth (Selah)
Détruis-les, détruis-les en ta colère; et ils ne subsisteront plus; et l'on saura que le Dieu de Jacob règne jusqu'aux confins de la terre.
14 So they may return to evening they growl like dog so they may go around [the] city.
Ils reviendront sur le soir; ils seront affamés comme des chiens, et ils courront autour de la ville.
15 They (they make wander about! *Q(K)*) to eat if not they are satisfied and they passed [the] night.
Ils se disperseront pour manger; et s'ils ne sont point rassasiés, ils murmureront.
16 And I - I will sing strength your so I may sing for joy to the morning covenant loyalty your for you have been a refuge of me and a place of escape on [the] day [when] it is distress to me.
Pour moi, je chanterai ta puissance, et, dès l'aurore, je me réjouirai de ta miséricorde; car tu es mon défenseur et mon refuge au jour de mon affliction.
17 O strength my to you I will sing praises for God [is] refuge my [the] God of covenant loyalty my.
Je te chanterai mes psaumes, ô mon Sauveur, ô mon Dieu; tu es mon défenseur, mon Dieu et ma miséricorde.
