< Psalms 56 >
1 To the choirmaster - on yonath-elem-rechokim of David a miktam when seized him [the] Philistines in Gath. Show favor to me O God for he has crushed me man all the day [one who] fights he oppresses me.
Ki he Takimuʻa ʻi he Sonatilemi-Lehokimi, ko e Saame mahuʻinga ʻa Tevita, ʻi he puke ia ʻe he kakai Filisitia ʻi Kata. Ke ke ʻaloʻofa kiate au, ʻE ʻOtua: he ʻoku fie folo hifo au ʻe he tangata; ʻoku ne tauʻi au ʻi he ʻaho kotoa, ʻo ne taʻomia au.
2 They have crushed [me] enemies my all the day for many [people] [are] fighting to me height.
Ko e loto ʻo hoku ngaahi fili ʻi he ʻaho kotoa pē ke folo hifo au: he ʻoku tokolahi ʻakinautolu ʻoku tauʻi au, ʻE Fungani Māʻolunga.
3 A day [when] I will fear I to you I will trust.
ʻI he ʻaho ʻoku ou manavahē ai, te u falala kiate koe.
4 In God I will praise word his in God I have trusted not I am afraid what? will it do flesh to me.
Te u fakamālō ki he ʻOtua ʻi heʻene folofola; ʻoku ou falala ki he ʻOtua; ʻe ʻikai te u manavahē ki he meʻa ʻe faʻa fai ʻe he kakai kiate au.
5 All the day words my they twist [are] on me all plans their for evil.
ʻOku nau fakakehe ʻeku ngaahi lea ʻi he ʻaho kotoa pē: ko ʻenau fakakaukau kotoa pē ke u kovi ai au.
6 They stir up trouble - (they lie hidden *Q(K)*) they heels my they watch for just as they have waited for life my.
ʻOku nau fakataha ʻakinautolu, ʻoku nau fakafufū ʻakinautolu, ʻoku nau vakai hoku ʻaluʻanga, ʻi heʻenau holi ki heʻeku moʻui.
7 Because of wickedness (not *X*) deliver them in anger peoples - bring down O God.
Te nau hao koā ʻi heʻenau hia? ʻE ʻOtua, ke ke lī ki lalo ʻae kakai ʻi he houhau.
8 Wandering my you have taken account of you put! tear[s] my in skin-bottle your ¿ not [is it] in scroll your.
ʻOku ke lau ʻa ʻeku ʻalu fano pē: ke ke ʻutu hoku ngaahi loʻimata ki hoʻo hina: ʻikai ʻoku nau tuʻu ʻi hoʻo tohi?
9 Then they will turn back enemies my backwards on [the] day [when] I will call out this I know that God [is] for me.
ʻO kau ka tangi kiate koe, ʻe foki kimui ai ʻa hoku ngaahi fili: ʻoku ou ʻilo ʻae meʻa ni; he ʻoku ʻiate au ʻae ʻOtua.
10 In God I will praise a word in Yahweh I will praise a word.
Te u fakamālō ki he ʻOtua ʻi heʻene folofola: te u fakamālō kia Sihova ʻi heʻene folofola.
11 In God I have trusted not I am afraid what? will he do anyone to me.
Kuo u falala ki he ʻOtua: ʻe ʻikai te u manavahē ki ha meʻa ʻe faʻa fai ʻe he tangata kiate au.
12 [are] on Me O God vows your I will pay thank-offerings to you.
ʻE ʻOtua, ʻoku ʻiate au hoʻo ngaahi fuakava: te u ʻatu ʻae fakamālō kiate koe,
13 For you have delivered life my from death ¿ not feet my from stumbling to go about before God in [the] light of life.
He kuo ke fakamoʻui hoku laumālie mei he mate: pea ʻikai te ke fakahaofi hoku vaʻe mei he hinga, koeʻuhi ke u ʻeveʻeva ʻi he ʻao ʻoe ʻOtua ʻi he maama ʻoe kakai moʻui?
