Psalms 48

1 A song a psalm of [the] sons of Korah. [is] great Yahweh and [is] to be praised exceedingly in [the] city of God our [the] mountain of holiness his.

Píseň žalmu synů Chóre. Veliký jest Hospodin, a převelmi chvalitebný v městě Boha našeho, na hoře svatosti své.

2 [it is] beautiful of Height [the] joy of all the earth [the] mountain of Zion [the] remotest parts of Zaphon [the] town of [the] king great.

Ozdoba krajiny, útěcha vší země jestiť hora Sion, k straně půlnoční, město krále velikého.

3 God [is] in fortresses its he has made himself known to a refuge.

Bůh na palácích jeho, a znají ho býti vysokým hradem.

4 For there! the kings they assembled they passed on together.

Nebo aj, králové když se shromáždili a spolu táhli,

5 They they saw thus they were astonished they were terrified they hurried away.

Sami to uzřevše, velmi se divili, a předěšeni byvše, náhle utíkali.

6 Trembling it seized them there anguish like [woman] giving birth.

Tuť jest je strach popadl, a bolest jako ženu rodící.

7 With a wind of [the] east you shatter ships of Tarshish.

Větrem východním rozrážíš lodí Tarské.

8 Just as we have heard - so we have seen in [the] city of Yahweh of hosts in [the] city of God our God he will establish it until perpetuity (Selah)

Jakž jsme slýchali, tak jsme spatřili, v městě Hospodina zástupů, v městě Boha našeho. Bůh upevní je až na věky.

9 We have reflected on O God covenant loyalty your in [the] midst of temple your.

Rozjímáme, ó Bože, milosrdenství tvé u prostřed chrámu tvého.

10 Like name your O God so praise your [is] over [the] ends of [the] earth righteousness it is full right [hand] your.

Jakož jméno tvé, Bože, tak i chvála tvá až do končin země; pravice tvá zajisté plná jest spravedlnosti.

11 It will rejoice - [the] mountain of Zion they will be glad [the] daughters of Judah on account of judgments your.

Raduj se, horo Sione, plésejte, dcery Judské, z příčiny soudů Božích.

12 Go around Zion and go round it count towers its.

Obejděte Sion, a obstupte jej, sečtěte věže jeho.

13 Set heart your - to rampart its walk through fortresses its so that you may recount [it] to a generation later.

Přiložte mysl svou k ohradě, popatřte na paláce jeho, abyste uměli vypravovati věku potomnímu,

14 For this - [is] God God our forever and ever he he will guide us on dying.

Že tento Bůh jest Bůh náš na věčné věky, a že on vůdce náš bude až do smrti.
