1 To the choirmaster on Shoshannim of [the] sons of Korah a poem a song of love. It is aroused heart my - a word good [am] speaking I work my to [the] king tongue my [is] a stylus of - a scribe skilled.
To the ouercomere for the lilies, the most loued song of lernyng of the sones of Chore. Myn herte hath teld out a good word; Y seie my workis `to the kyng. Mi tunge is `a penne of a writere; writynge swiftli.
2 You are handsome more than [the] sons of humankind it has been poured grace on lips your there-fore he has blessed you God for ever.
Crist, thou art fairer in schap than the sones of men; grace is spred abrood in thi lippis; therfor God blessid thee withouten ende.
3 Gird sword your on a thigh O mighty [one] splendor your and majesty your.
Be thou gird with thi swerd; on thi hipe most myytili.
4 And majesty your - prosper ride forth on a matter of truth and humility righteousness and let it teach you awesome [deeds] right [hand] your.
Biholde thou in thi schaplynesse and thi fairnesse; come thou forth with prosperite, and regne thou. For treuthe, and myldenesse, and riytfulnesse; and thi riyt hond schal lede forth thee wondurfuli.
5 Arrows your [are] sharpened peoples under you they will fall in [the] heart of [the] enemies of the king.
Thi scharpe arowis schulen falle in to the hertis of the enemyes of the kyng; puplis schulen be vndur thee.
6 Throne your O God [is] forever and ever [is] a scepter of uprightness [the] scepter of kingdom your.
God, thi seete is in to the world of world; the yerde of thi rewme is a yerde of riyt reulyng, `ethir of equite.
7 You have loved righteousness and you have hated wickedness there-fore - he has anointed you God God your [the] oil of joy more than companions your.
Thou louedist riytfulnesse, and hatidist wickidnesse; therfor thou, God, thi God, anoyntide thee with the oile of gladnesse, more than thi felowis.
8 [are] myrrh And aloes cassia all clothes your from palaces of ivory stringed instrument they have made glad you.
Mirre, and gumme, and cassia, of thi clothis, of the `housis yuer;
9 Daughters of kings [are] among noble [women] your she stands a queen-consort to right [hand] your in [the] gold of Ophir.
of whiche the douytris of kyngis delitiden thee. A queen stood nyy on thi riyt side in clothing ouergildid; cumpassid with dyuersitee.
10 Listen O daughter and see and incline ear your and forget people your and [the] house of father your.
Douyter, here thou, and se, and bowe doun thin eere; and foryete thi puple, and the hows of thi fadir.
11 So may he desire the king beauty your for he [is] lord your and bow down to him.
And the kyng schal coueyte thi fairnesse; for he is thi Lord God, and thei schulen worschipe hym.
12 And [the] daughter of Tyre - with a gift face your they will entreat rich [ones] of a people.
And the douytris of Tire in yiftis; alle the riche men of the puple schulen biseche thi cheer.
13 [is] all Glorious a daughter of a king within [is] from settings of gold clothing her.
Al the glorye of that douyter of the kyng is with ynne in goldun hemmes;
14 To embroidered robes she is brought to the king virgins behind her [female] companions her [are] being brought to you.
sche is clothid aboute with dyuersitees. Virgyns schulen be brouyt to the kyng aftir hir; hir neiyboressis schulen be brouyt to thee.
15 They are brought with joy and rejoicing they go in [the] palace of [the] king.
Thei schulen be brouyt in gladnesse, and ful out ioiyng; thei schulen be brouyt in to the temple of the kyng.
16 In place of ancestors your they will be children your you will make them into princes in all the land.
Sones ben borun to thee, for thi fadris; thou schalt ordeyne hem princes on al erthe.
17 I will cause to be remembered name your in every generation and a generation there-fore peoples they will give thanks to you for ever and ever.
Lord, thei schulen be myndeful of thi name; in ech generacioun, and in to generacioun. Therfor puplis schulen knouleche to thee withouten ende; and in to the world of world.
