Psalms 44
1 To the choirmaster of [the] sons of Korah a poem. O God - with ears our we have heard ancestors our they have recounted to us [the] deed[s] [which] you did in days their in days of antiquity.
Načelniku godbe med nasledniki Koretovimi; ukovita. O Bog, z ušesi svojimi smo slišali, očetje naši so nam pravili, káko delo si storil o njih časih, časih nekdanjih.
2 You - hand your nations you dispossessed and you planted them you did harm to peoples and you set free them.
Z roko svojo si izgnal narode in naselil njé: pokoril si ljudstva in razširil njé.
3 For not by sword their they took possession of [the] land and arm their not it saved them for right [hand] your and arm your and [the] light of face your for you took pleasure in them.
Niso namreč z mečem svojim dobili dežele v oblast, in njih dlan ni jim dala blaginje; nego desnica tvoja in dlan tvoja in obličja tvojega luč; ker blagovoljen si jim bil.
4 You he [are] king my O God ordain [the] victories of Jacob.
Ti sam si kralj moj, o Bog; pošlji vsakoršno blaginjo Jakobu.
5 By you opponents our we gore in name your we tread down [those who] rise up against us.
S teboj bodemo z rogom udarili sovražnike svoje; z imenom tvojim bodemo pogazili njé, ki se spenjajo v nas.
6 For not in bow my I trust and sword my not it saves me.
Ker na lok svoj se ne zanašam, in meč moj ne bode me rešil.
7 For you have saved us from foes our and [those who] hate us you have put to shame.
Ko nas bodeš otél neprijateljev naših, in osramotil sovražnike naše,
8 In God we have boasted all the day and name your - for ever we will praise (Selah)
Hvalili bodemo ves dan Boga, ime tvoje bodemo slavili vekomaj.
9 Also you have rejected and you have humiliated us and not you have gone out with armies our.
In vendar si nas zavrgel in onečastil, ker nisi hodil z našimi vojskami.
10 You have made turn back us backwards from [the] opponent and [those who] hate us they have plundered for themselves.
Storil si, da smo se umaknili sovražniku, in neprijatelji naši si plenijo.
11 You have made us like sheep of food and among the nations you have scattered us.
Predal si nas kakor drobnico za hrano, in med ljudstva si nas razkropil.
12 You have sold people your for not wealth and not you have made great by price their.
Prodal si ljudstvo svoje za malo, in povišal nisi cene njegove.
13 You have made us a reproach to neighbors our mockery and derision to [those] around us.
Izpostavil si nas v sramoto sosedom našim, v zasramovanje in zasmehovanje njim, ki nas obdajajo.
14 You have made us a byword among the nations a shaking of head not peoples.
Za pregovor si nas postavil ljudstvom, v majanje z glavo med narodi.
15 All the day ignominy my [is] before me and [the] shame of face my it has covered me.
Ves dan mi je nečast moja pred očmi, in obličja mojega sramota me pokriva;
16 From [the] sound of [one who] taunts and [one who] reviles because of an enemy and an avenger.
Zaradi glasú zasramovalca in preklinjalca; zaradi sovražnika in maščevalca.
17 All this it has come to us and not we had forgotten you and not we had dealt falsely with covenant your.
Vse to nas je zadelo, in vendar te ne zabimo; in lažnjivo se ne vedemo zoper zavezo tvojo.
18 Not it had turned back backwards heart our and it had turned aside steps our from path your.
Ne odmika se srce naše, in stopinja naša ne zavija v stran od steze tvoje:
19 For you have crushed us in a place of jackals and you have covered over us with deep darkness.
Če tudi si nas potrl v kraj sômov in pokril nas z mrtvaško senco.
20 If we had forgotten [the] name of God our and we had spread out hands our to a god strange.
Ako bi bili pozabili imena Boga našega, ali razpeli roke svoje proti bogu mogočnemu tujemu,
21 ¿ Not God will he search out this for he [is] knowing [the] secrets of [the] heart.
Ali bi ne bil Bog tega preiskal? Ker on pozná srca skrivnosti.
22 For on you we have been killed all the day we have been regarded like sheep of slaughter.
Ali zavoljo tebe nas pobijajo vsak dan; cenijo nas kakor drobnico za klanje.
23 Awake! - why? do you sleep - O Lord awake! may not you reject [us] to perpetuity.
Zbúdi se, zakaj bi spal, Gospod? vstani, ne zametaj nas na večno.
24 Why? face your do you hide do you forget? affliction our and oppression our.
Zakaj bi skrival obličje svoje, pozabljal nadloge naše in stiske naše?
25 For it has sunk down to the dust self our it has clung to the earth belly our.
Ker v prah je ponižano življenje naše, tál se tišči trebuh naš.
26 Arise! a help of us and redeem us for [the] sake of covenant loyalty your.
Vstani na pomoč nam, in reši nas zavoljo milosti svoje.
