Psalms 44
1 To the choirmaster of [the] sons of Korah a poem. O God - with ears our we have heard ancestors our they have recounted to us [the] deed[s] [which] you did in days their in days of antiquity.
Bože, svojim ušima slušasmo, oci nam naši pripovijedaše djelo koje si uèinio u njihovo vrijeme, u staro vrijeme.
2 You - hand your nations you dispossessed and you planted them you did harm to peoples and you set free them.
Rukom svojom izgnao si narode, a njih posadio; iskorijenio si plemena, a njih namnožio.
3 For not by sword their they took possession of [the] land and arm their not it saved them for right [hand] your and arm your and [the] light of face your for you took pleasure in them.
Jer ne zadobiše zemlje svojim maèem, niti im mišica njihova pomože, nego tvoja desnica i tvoja mišica, i svjetlost lica tvojega, jer ti bijahu omiljeli.
4 You he [are] king my O God ordain [the] victories of Jacob.
Bože, care moj, ti si onaj isti, pošlji pomoæ Jakovu!
5 By you opponents our we gore in name your we tread down [those who] rise up against us.
S tobom æemo izbosti neprijatelje svoje, i s imenom tvojim izgaziæemo one koji ustaju na nas.
6 For not in bow my I trust and sword my not it saves me.
Jer se ne uzdam u luk svoj, niti æe mi maè moj pomoæi.
7 For you have saved us from foes our and [those who] hate us you have put to shame.
Nego æeš nas ti izbaviti od neprijatelja našijeh, i nenavidnike naše posramiæeš.
8 In God we have boasted all the day and name your - for ever we will praise (Selah)
Bogom æemo se hvaliti svaki dan, i ime tvoje slaviæemo dovijeka.
9 Also you have rejected and you have humiliated us and not you have gone out with armies our.
Ali sad si nas povrgao i posramio, i ne ideš s vojskom našom.
10 You have made turn back us backwards from [the] opponent and [those who] hate us they have plundered for themselves.
Obraæaš nas te bježimo ispred neprijatelja, i neprijatelji nas naši haraju.
11 You have made us like sheep of food and among the nations you have scattered us.
Dao si nas kao ovce da nas jedu, i po narodima rasijao si nas.
12 You have sold people your for not wealth and not you have made great by price their.
U bescjenje si prodao narod svoj, i nijesi mu podigao cijene.
13 You have made us a reproach to neighbors our mockery and derision to [those] around us.
Dao si nas na potsmijeh susjedima našijem, da nam se rugaju i sramote nas koji žive oko nas.
14 You have made us a byword among the nations a shaking of head not peoples.
Naèinio si od nas prièu u naroda, gledajuæi nas mašu glavom tuðinci.
15 All the day ignominy my [is] before me and [the] shame of face my it has covered me.
Svaki je dan sramota moja preda mnom, i stid je popao lice moje
16 From [the] sound of [one who] taunts and [one who] reviles because of an enemy and an avenger.
Od rijeèi potsmjevaèevih i rugaèevih, i od pogleda neprijateljevih i osvetljivèevih.
17 All this it has come to us and not we had forgotten you and not we had dealt falsely with covenant your.
Sve ovo snaðe nas; ali ne zaboravismo tebe, niti prestupismo zavjeta tvojega.
18 Not it had turned back backwards heart our and it had turned aside steps our from path your.
Ne otstupi natrag srce naše, i stope naše ne zaðoše s puta tvojega.
19 For you have crushed us in a place of jackals and you have covered over us with deep darkness.
Kad si nas bio u zemlji zmajevskoj, i pokrivao nas sjenom smrtnijem,
20 If we had forgotten [the] name of God our and we had spread out hands our to a god strange.
Onda da bijasmo zaboravili ime Boga svojega i podigli ruke svoje k Bogu tuðemu,
21 ¿ Not God will he search out this for he [is] knowing [the] secrets of [the] heart.
Ne bi li Bog iznašao to? Jer on zna tajne u srcu.
22 For on you we have been killed all the day we have been regarded like sheep of slaughter.
A ubijaju nas za tebe svaki dan; s nama postupaju kao s ovcama klanicama.
23 Awake! - why? do you sleep - O Lord awake! may not you reject [us] to perpetuity.
Ustani, što spavaš, Gospode! Probudi se, nemoj odbaciti zasvagda.
24 Why? face your do you hide do you forget? affliction our and oppression our.
Zašto kriješ lice svoje? zaboravljaš nevolju i muku našu?
25 For it has sunk down to the dust self our it has clung to the earth belly our.
Duša naša pade u prah, tijelo je naše baèeno na zemlju.
26 Arise! a help of us and redeem us for [the] sake of covenant loyalty your.
Ustani, pomoæi naša, i izbavi nas radi milosti svoje.
