Psalms 4
1 To the choirmaster with stringed instruments a psalm of David. When call I answer me - O God of righteousness my in the distress you have made wide for me show favor to me and hear prayer my.

2 O sons of man until when? [will] honor my [become] ignominy will you love?! vanity will you seek? falsehood (Selah)
Unu ụmụ mmadụ, ruo ole mgbe ka unu ga-atụgharịa ebube m, mee ka ọ bụrụ ihe ihere? Ruo ole mgbe ka unu ga-ahụ ihe efu nʼanya na-achọ chi ndị ahụ na-abụghị chi nʼezie? (Sela)
3 And know that he has set apart Yahweh [the] faithful for himself Yahweh he will hear when call I to him.
Matanụ nke ọma na Onyenwe anyị ahọpụtala ndị ezi omume nye onwe ya; ọ ga-egekwa ntị nʼolu m mgbe ọbụla m kpọkuru ya.
4 Tremble and may not you sin speak in heart your on bed your and be silent (Selah)
Maanụ jijiji, unu emehiekwala; mgbe unu nọ nʼelu ihe ndina unu; nọọnụ jụụ na-enyocha obi unu. (Sela)
5 Sacrifice sacrifices of righteousness and trust to Yahweh.
Tụkwasịnụ Onyenwe anyị obi unu, chụkwaranụ ya aja ezi omume.
6 Many [people] [are] saying who? will he show us good lift up! on us [the] light of face your O Yahweh.
Ọtụtụ ndị mmadụ na-ajụ, “Onye pụrụ imere anyị ihe ọma?” Ma Onyenwe anyị, biko mee ka ìhè nke ihu gị mụkwasị anyị.
7 You have put joy in heart my more than a time [when] grain their and new wine their they abound.
Were ọṅụ mejupụta obi m karịa mgbe mkpụrụ ubi, ya na mmanya ọhụrụ ha bara ụba nke ukwuu.
8 In peace together I will lie down and I may sleep for you O Yahweh alone to security you caused to dwell me.
