< Psalms 36 >
1 To the choirmaster - of [the] servant of Yahweh of David. [the] utterance of Transgression to wicked [person] [is] in [the] midst of heart my not [the] fear of God [is] to before eyes his.
To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid, the servant of the Lord. Wickedness sayeth to the wicked man, euen in mine heart, that there is no feare of God before his eyes.
2 For he flatters himself in own eyes his to find iniquity his to hate [it].
For hee flattereth himselfe in his owne eyes, while his iniquitie is foud worthy to be hated.
3 [the] words of Mouth his [are] wickedness and deceit he has ceased to act prudently to do good.
The wordes of his mouth are iniquitie and deceit: hee hath left off to vnderstand and to doe good.
4 Wickedness - he plans on bed his he takes his stand on a way not good evil not he rejects.
Hee imagineth mischiefe vpon his bed: he setteth himselfe vpon a way, that is not good, and doeth not abhorre euill.
5 O Yahweh [is] in the heavens covenant loyalty your faithfulness your [is] to [the] clouds.
Thy mercy, O Lord, reacheth vnto the heauens, and thy faithfulnesse vnto the cloudes.
6 Righteousness your - [is] like [the] mountains of God (judgments your *L(P)*) [are] [the] deep great humankind and animal[s] you deliver O Yahweh.
Thy righteousnesse is like the mightie moutaines: thy iudgements are like a great deepe: thou, Lord, doest saue man and beast.
7 How! precious [is] covenant loyalty your O God and [the] children of humankind in [the] shadow of wings your they take refuge!
How excellent is thy mercy, O God! therefore the children of men trust vnder the shadowe of thy wings.
8 They take their fill! from [the] fatness of house your and [the] river of delights your you give to drink them.
They shall be satisfied with the fatnesse of thine house, and thou shalt giue them drinke out of the riuer of thy pleasures.
9 For [is] with you a fountain of life in light your we see light.
For with thee is the well of life, and in thy light shall we see light.
10 Prolong covenant loyalty your to [those who] know you and righteousness your to [people] upright of heart.
Extend thy louing kindnes vnto them that knowe thee, and thy righteousnesse vnto them that are vpright in heart.
11 May not it come to me [the] foot of pride and [the] hand of wicked [people] may not it make wander me.
Let not ye foote of pride come against me, and let not the hand of ye wicked men moue me.
12 There they have fallen [those who] do wickedness they were pushed down and not they were able to rise.
There they are fallen that worke iniquity: they are cast downe, and shall not be able to rise.
