Psalms 32
1 Of David a poem how blessed! [is one who] is forgiven of transgression [is one who] is covered of sin.
Faarfannaa Daawit. Maskiil. Namni yakki isaa dhiifameef, kan cubbuun isaas haguugameef, eebbifamaa dha.
2 How blessed! [is] a person [whom] not he reckons Yahweh to him iniquity and there not in spirit his [is] deceit.
Namni Waaqayyo cubbuu itti hin lakkoofne, kan hafuura isaa keessas gowwoomsaan hin jirre, eebbifamaa dha.
3 If I kept silent they became worn out bones my in cry of distress my all the day.
Yeroo ani cubbuu koo himachuu dhiisetti, guyyaa guutuu aaduu kootiin, lafeen koo ni bosose.
4 For - by day and night it was heavy on me hand your it was changed juice my by [the] dry heat of summer (Selah)
Harki kee halkanii fi guyyaa natti ulfaateeraatii; jabinni koos akkuma waan hoʼa bonaatiin taʼuutti xuuxame.
5 Sin my I made known to you and iniquity my not I covered I said I will confess on transgressions my to Yahweh and you you forgave [the] guilt of sin my (Selah)
Ergasiis cubbuu koo sitti nan himadhe; balleessaa koos si hin dhokfanne. Anis, “Irra daddarba koo, Waaqayyootti nan himadha” nan jedhe; atis yakka cubbuu kootii, naa dhiifteerta.
6 On this let him pray every faithful [person] - to you to a time of finding certainly to a flood of waters many to him not they will reach.
Kanaafuu namni amanamaan kam iyyuu, yeroo ati itti argamtutti si haa kadhatu; lolaan bishaan guddaas isa bira hin gaʼu.
7 You - [are] a hiding place of me from distress you will preserve me shouts of deliverance; [surely] you will surround me (Selah)
Ati iddoo ani itti dhokadhuu dha; rakkina irraa na eegda; faarfannaa moʼannaatiinis na marsita.
8 I will instruct you - and I will teach you [the] way which you will go I will counsel [you] [will be] on you eye my.
Ani karaa ati irra deemtu irratti sin qajeelcha; sin barsiisas; ani ija koo jaalalaatiin sin ilaala; sin gorsa.
9 May not you be - like a horse like a mule [which] there not [is] understanding with bridle and halter trapping[s] its to restrain not to draw near to you.
Isin akka farda yookaan gaangoo hubannaa hin qabnee hin taʼinaa; isaan yoo luugamaa fi fuuloodhaan qabaman malee gara kee hin dhufan.
10 Many pains [belong] to wicked [person] and the [one who] trusts in Yahweh covenant loyalty it will surround him.
Dhiphinni namoota hamoo baayʼee dha; araarri Waaqayyoo garuu nama isa amanatu ni marsa.
11 Rejoice in Yahweh and be glad O righteous [people] and shout for joy O all [people] upright of heart.
Yaa qajeeltota, isin Waaqayyotti gammadaa; ililchaas; warri garaa qulqulluu qabdan hundinuu ililchaa.
