Psalms 32
1 Of David a poem how blessed! [is one who] is forgiven of transgression [is one who] is covered of sin.
| לְדָוִ֗ד מַ֫שְׂכִּ֥יל אַשְׁרֵ֥י נְֽשׂוּי־פֶּ֗שַׁע כְּס֣וּי חֲטָאָֽה׃ |
2 How blessed! [is] a person [whom] not he reckons Yahweh to him iniquity and there not in spirit his [is] deceit.
| אַ֥שְֽׁרֵי אָדָ֗ם לֹ֤א יַחְשֹׁ֬ב יְהוָ֣ה לֹ֣ו עָוֹ֑ן וְאֵ֖ין בְּרוּחֹ֣ו רְמִיָּה׃ |
3 If I kept silent they became worn out bones my in cry of distress my all the day.
| כִּֽי־הֶ֭חֱרַשְׁתִּי בָּל֣וּ עֲצָמָ֑י בְּ֝שַׁאֲגָתִ֗י כָּל־הַיֹּֽום׃ |
4 For - by day and night it was heavy on me hand your it was changed juice my by [the] dry heat of summer (Selah)
| כִּ֤י ׀ יֹומָ֣ם וָלַיְלָה֮ תִּכְבַּ֥ד עָלַ֗י יָ֫דֶ֥ךָ נֶהְפַּ֥ךְ לְשַׁדִּ֑י בְּחַרְבֹ֖נֵי קַ֣יִץ סֶֽלָה׃ |
5 Sin my I made known to you and iniquity my not I covered I said I will confess on transgressions my to Yahweh and you you forgave [the] guilt of sin my (Selah)
| חַטָּאתִ֨י אֹודִ֪יעֲךָ֡ וַעֲוֹ֘נִ֤י לֹֽא־כִסִּ֗יתִי אָמַ֗רְתִּי אֹודֶ֤ה עֲלֵ֣י פְ֭שָׁעַי לַיהוָ֑ה וְאַתָּ֨ה נָ֘שָׂ֤אתָ עֲוֹ֖ן חַטָּאתִ֣י סֶֽלָה׃ |
6 On this let him pray every faithful [person] - to you to a time of finding certainly to a flood of waters many to him not they will reach.
| עַל־זֹ֡את יִתְפַּלֵּ֬ל כָּל־חָסִ֨יד ׀ אֵלֶיךָ֮ לְעֵ֪ת מְ֫צֹ֥א רַ֗ק לְ֭שֵׁטֶף מַ֣יִם רַבִּ֑ים אֵ֝לָ֗יו לֹ֣א יַגִּֽיעוּ׃ |
7 You - [are] a hiding place of me from distress you will preserve me shouts of deliverance; [surely] you will surround me (Selah)
| אַתָּ֤ה ׀ סֵ֥תֶר לִי֮ מִצַּ֪ר תִּ֫צְּרֵ֥נִי רָנֵּ֥י פַלֵּ֑ט תְּסֹ֖ובְבֵ֣נִי סֶֽלָה׃ |
8 I will instruct you - and I will teach you [the] way which you will go I will counsel [you] [will be] on you eye my.
| אַשְׂכִּֽילְךָ֨ ׀ וְֽאֹורְךָ֗ בְּדֶֽרֶךְ־ז֥וּ תֵלֵ֑ךְ אִֽיעֲצָ֖ה עָלֶ֣יךָ עֵינִֽי׃ |
9 May not you be - like a horse like a mule [which] there not [is] understanding with bridle and halter trapping[s] its to restrain not to draw near to you.
| אַל־תִּֽהְי֤וּ ׀ כְּס֥וּס כְּפֶרֶד֮ אֵ֤ין הָ֫בִ֥ין בְּמֶֽתֶג־וָרֶ֣סֶן עֶדְיֹ֣ו לִבְלֹ֑ום בַּ֝֗ל קְרֹ֣ב אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ |
10 Many pains [belong] to wicked [person] and the [one who] trusts in Yahweh covenant loyalty it will surround him.
| רַבִּ֥ים מַכְאֹובִ֗ים לָרָ֫שָׁ֥ע וְהַבֹּוטֵ֥חַ בַּיהוָ֑ה חֶ֝֗סֶד יְסֹובְבֶֽנּוּ׃ |
11 Rejoice in Yahweh and be glad O righteous [people] and shout for joy O all [people] upright of heart.
| שִׂמְח֬וּ בַֽיהוָ֣ה וְ֭גִילוּ צַדִּיקִ֑ים וְ֝הַרְנִ֗ינוּ כָּל־יִשְׁרֵי־לֵֽב׃ |
